The studio itself is absolutely beautiful and I loved how the rooms were set up. Mission Fitness offers a variety of workout methods that involve TRX, Barre, Pilates, Row, Yoga, and they even have open gym. If you go to their website, they offer descriptions of all the different classes offered that fall into these categories of workouts. Super informative and helpful when deciding on which class to try! Since rowing classes are my new obsession, I was super excited to try a class at Mission Fitness. Mission Fitness offers a special to try your first class for free, so I decided to try a Saturday morning Core Row class taught by Rachel. I've taken a ton of rowing classes, but this was my first class on a WaterRower. The machines were gorgeous and fun to row on! For the Core Row class, we spent the first part of the class on the rower, the second part on mats working on our core, and got back on the rowers for the third part of class. Rachel was great at keeping everyone energized, motivated, and smiling throughout the workout. We even split the class into two groups and had a fun competition at the end of the class. Team Cab vs. Team Merlot (Go team Cab!) So glad I went to this class, and I definitely look forward to trying other classes from Mission Fitness in the future!

There isn't a scratch on anything and the gym is in pristine condition. Not only is lighting is incredible, but she had all the machines you need, and all of them are top of the line. Will absolutely come back anytime I'm in town and would recommend this gym to absolutely anybody looking at getting started or a veteran steel thrower who wants a peaceful, no B.S gym where you can redline your body. Last note: Even after staying up for a few extra hours, owner only charged me $5 for a pass. There's zero excuse in my opinion to not try this gym out. I googled and researched a few gyms, that is when I found Rocking Boot Camp! Group classes and sweating my off Amanda was super welcoming and friendly along with each of the other members! During out short stay in Gulf Shores, AL I visited this gym and enjoyed the experience so much that I went 3 days in a row. When I got out of the vehicle they said my name and invited me it so the greeting was unexpected but nice. When I went inside I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the facility was! It is a smaller gym but has adequate equipment to allow for about 10-15 people to work out. The class was not only strength training, they also incorporated cardio/endurance activity in the workout session. The warm up was different from our gym but it was a new experience that was very enjoyable. Options for scaling provided for all levels from RX all the way down to novice. Clothing and drinks were available for purchase. It was definitely one of the friendliest environments for a new visitor for sure. Will be back next time I'm in Gulf Shores. (Price was currently $20 drop in or $50 for the week).

They've got 3 racks, a competition bench, tons of nice plates, high quality bars, and more strongman gear than I've seen anywhere else. They even have bumper plates and platforms so you could probably get in an oly or crossfit style workout if you aren't too picky about having an oly bar. Day pass is a very reasonable 10 dollars. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area and looking to get in a heavy workout.
