Came here on a Sunday afternoon in May 2025 and ordered a cheeseburger, and when it came out i was surprised to see it didnt come with lettuce, tomato, and onion inside it. On top of that the patty felt cold and the american cheese wasnt melted into the patty. I had to ask to add the lettuce, tomato and onion since the cashier failed to ask me if i wanted them inside the burger. The burger was alright, i've had better elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend it We came here for cherry picking, and it cost $14 for a tiny basket, a bit pricey imo. I doubt it held much in there. I'd say i can get more and perhaps better quality from supermarkets. The cherry picking section was couple of rows and wasnt riped yet There was a tractor ride that would take you around the farm, and the farm was pretty huge. This was an interesting ride. The ride took us from the cherry picking place to the entrance. I'd say the whole experience wasn't worth it considering pricey basket that didn't get much in return compared to what you would get in a supermarket and would save the trip, the effort, and the scorching sun hitting you...

Really nice farm. Since we were upstate, we decided to stop by Fishkill farm. We came here mainly to get food and look at the store. Came here on Sunday afternoon, this place is really lively and packed. They have live music band playing. The food was ok, nothing special. The apple cider slushy and fresh apple cider donuts were really delicious. The donut was really soft on the inside, tasted really fluffy and fresh! Wish I got more, 1 donut was $1.5 or you can buy half dozen for $8. Overall, nice place to stop by and next time I will definitely try the fruit picking.

Such a beautiful farm and a lovely day trip from NYC! My husband and I went here for the flower and fruits festival on a Saturday and had the best time. We bought tickets online for flower picking because that's what we were most interested in doing, but you can also purchase tickets in person for the flower picking or fruits picking depending on availability. When we arrived we received a plastic vases and you're free to roam the flower area of the farm and pick as many flowers as you like as long as it fits within the vase. You can bring your own scissors, but if not they have some available. The flowers were beautiful they reminded us of wildflowers, so unique and vividly colored. There were also a few booths for food, we had chicken fingers and fries. The strawberry lemonade was soo good and perfect for the hot summer day. We also tried one of the farm's ciders called "Love" it was slightly sweet and we enjoyed it so much we purchased a bottle from the farm store. We also got some cider donuts to take home, which were delicious! It felt so magical being out in the farm and we had so much fun! Definitely would love to visit again and try out fruit picking :)

Cute little farm,we picked our own flowers today. They have several rows of wildflowers for you to choose. It's down hill and uneven, so not stroller friendly. They offer a variety of drinks such as ciders, beers and non alcoholic drinks. Everything is on a reservation basis. Only animals we saw were 3 sheep's. You can bring your own snacks, beverage or charcuterie's. Nice little outdoor space for the little ones. Beware, they only have porter potties and they were not great.

I was so excited to finally visit this farm for apple picking during the season! Even though it was towards the end of the season, there were still a few varieties of apples left to pick before the farm's closure, which made the experience feel like a last little harvest. The farm itself is absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't have asked for a better day to visit. The crisp, clean air and the peaceful atmosphere made it such a special experience. I was lucky enough to go on a slow day with hardly any crowds, which added to making it one of the best intimate experiences. While many of the apple trees had already been picked, I'm eager to return earlier next season to see the full bushels. The highlight of the trip was the stunning sunset. The views of the mountains and clouds were truly breathtaking, every moment felt magical, I didn't want to leave. I also spent some time at the farm's bar/dining area, where we tried their variety of floats. Each one was fresh, crisp, and a perfect compliment of the apples on the farm. Getting to the farm was surprisingly easy and accessible too! It's not far from the train and just a short Uber ride away.

This is my favorite apple/pear picking farm out of the couple I've been to. I always go for their juicy Asian pears and sweet Fuji apples. I like how you can drive up to the most of the section you are interested in picking from berries, sunflowers, vegetables, to various apples/pears. Make sure to reserve your appointment online ahead of time to pay $58 for a huge bag, it's a nice outting activity for the whole family with or without kids. If possible, bring/rent a long fruit picking stick as some of the bigger size fruits are at the top of the trees. I like that they also have a section selling their wonderful apple cider donuts, a farm store, some food vendors selling American, Mexican, and Carribean food, and live music on the weekends! I just wish they had real bathrooms and not the portable ones, but other than that, this is my go to farm to welcome the harvest season. P.S. When you leave, they will ask you to open your truck for their routine inspection.

Awesome farm. Went to pick apples and the I have to say, the farm is so pretty. Cider Donuts were really good and unique. Too bad I didn't get to try the cider but that just leaves something for next time! The staff service was perfect and the ambiance can't be beat.

This was my first visit to Fishkill Farms. This farm has so much to offer (produce, spirits, a bakery, food carts)! The farm is a 270-acre apple orchard and vegetable farm. It has been in the family for over 100 years. The farm provides year round family-friendly outdoor fun for the local community. As I entered the grounds. I noticed a food stand that had a menu that caught my eye. I wasn't expecting it. One of the offerings was a jerked chicken platter. I said to my friends "At the Farm?" Wha??? Then I said "Yes Please ". If you're in the area...GET SOME

Beautiful orchard to enjoy a wholesome day with friends and family. Located in the top of a little mountain, you can enjoy the rolling hills that go on for days. Pick apples and pears until your heart is content. Pack a lunch and throw down a blanket to enjoy the sun and breeze that smells so sweet. Maybe even a little nap. Finish the day back at the barn with some cider and donuts. During the week this place is quiet and you have it all to yourself. But not all of the food and activities are open.

A couple girlfriends and I took MetroNorth up to Beacon for a Saturday to go apple picking at Fishkill Farms! It was a quick Uber ride away after about 1.5 hour train ride from the city. You reserve a slot ahead of time, and it's $58 for up to five people for a 1 half-bushel bag (plenty for the group). They have rows and rows of apple trees, and good signage for the varieties and what is already picked. The apples were all so fresh and juicy, can't compare to what you get at the grocery store. We didn't partake, but there are tractor rides, corn mazes, a lot of food and drink vendors, and more. I wanted to get Apple cider donuts but the line was too long. Still a really fun day to experience fall festivities!

i love fishkill farms, especially for their apple cider donuts!! they have a wide variety of apples (mutsu, honey crisp, jonathan, spartan, gala, etc) to pick from and i also enjoyed picking their strawberries in june. a bonus is their apple cider donuts are year round :)

Lakshmi L.

This review is strictly for the strawberry picking season. I find that there aren't as many reviews for this specifically, probably because as another reviewer pointed out, the season is very short. But this year, we made a reservation super early, literally for the second day in June, a day after they open up the strawberry picking to the general public. Which is what I also recommend that you do. The farm is a good hour and a half drive from the city. When you make the reservation, it will cost you $32, which they say is entrance fee for 5 people and for as many strawberries as you can pack into a 2 quart box. And boy did we pack it in. We were almost embarrassed to walk out with the box in hand, overflowing like we've never seen strawberries before. The strawberries were plump, sweet and bountiful. We were told by a couple of friendly farm-goers to go to the back where they were ripest, sweetest and largest. They have a store where you can get baked goods and the like. The chocolate covered apple cider donuts were great. We got a box of three - two with pink/strawberry icing and one with chocolate icing. It cost about $6 and tasted really good. The texture was a bit weird, it was delicate and was almost falling off so you had to eat it quickly. The icing hadn't set and hence it is a bit messy to eat. They have a food stand that serves hot dogs, hamburgers and other quick finger foods. We got the special, a fried chicken and donut sandwich which was interesting, tasted fine. It wasn't the worst thing we've had. They have a hard cider bar which also serves light bites and food. I saw a table get sloppy Joe's from there so if I could redo it again, I would have probably gotten something from the bar. As far as drinks at the hard cider bar, they have a strawberry frose ($10), a variety of small batch hard ciders($9) which are both very boozy and non-alcoholic options for kids. All in all, we walked away very happy with our experience. We're looking forward to our next time here!

I've been coming to Fishkill farms for years! I love the farm store with a fresh selection of already picked produce and local products like cheeses, and ciders. Their bar serves cocktails, ciders and beers as well. My favorite is the cider that has a hint of peach unless it's summer when they have frozen cocktails! They have great bar bites like pretzels and charcuterie. Or even have pop up food trucks like this past weekend they had gyros that were juicy and perfect even though they had run out of taziki they added on humus which was a nice touch. They are always adding on events, like this past weekend we went and took a pottery workshop from Natures Impact. It was informative and helpful in guiding us creatively as well as improving our technical skills. There is always pick your own fruit for multiple seasons like berries in the summer or apples in the fall. Make sure if you want to pick your own that you make a reservation online ahead of time, they are certain timed entry slots and they go fast during busy season! They even offer a co-op you can pick up a weekly share of produce. They truly have it all that you could want in your local farm/orchard.

Do you need a reservation to enter? If you're not going to pick fruits/pumpkins?

You can just walk in and go to the store or the cider bar with no reservations!

Are dogs on a leash allowed?

Yes - saw service dogs and non-service dogs (pets with a leash) this past Saturday. I do think their site states no non-service dogs allowed, but I don't believe it was truly enforced.

We went here on a random Wednesday afternoon so we basically had the orchard to ourselves. The first parking lot you see is for their store, you have to keep driving up for the u-pick orchard. There you check in to pay your admission fee, get your wristband, and get your apple picking bag(s). They give you a map where the ripe apples are highlighted for you. My favorite apples were the honeycrisp and snap dragons. They grow vegetables too but honestly we didn't explore the orchard that much (it was huge) so the only other thing I picked besides apples was a tomato, which I felt like was pretty difficult to find a good one. I handed out the apples to other friends and colleagues and they all liked them! There's something different about picking the apple straight off the tree than the apples you would normally just buy at a grocery store. It's a lot crispier when you pick them yourself! The store has apple cider doughnuts! Now being that I am a Californian where we don't have this apple picking culture, I was wondering what all the hype around apple cider doughnuts was about. NOW I GET IT they're so good! Unfortunately since we went on a weekday the doughnuts weren't fresh (they make them fresh on the weekends) so some of them were stale, but most were still good. It's honestly more of a cake than a doughnut, but so good! The doughnuts are self serve towards the back. The store also had a cat on the prowl haha We ended up not even having time to visit the petting zoo, but overall I think my colleagues had a good time here and I would recommend this orchard for anyone trying to have a no frills apple picking experience. Heads up It's a bit busy during peak times, but that's to be expected at a popular place. But when we came on a Saturday they were practically empty and lady made a joke not to come on the weekends so I assume normally it's a busy day or they dedicate it to stocking up since when we came I saw about 3 of the staff unboxing stuff.
