Great for all ages, even babies and toddlers! Once you arrive you check in and they either provide you with a strawberry basket or you drive right into the fields and they can give you a basket there too. Don't be shy to walk further into the fields where fewer people go! There's a tractor ride periodically that you can take to and from the main farm area if you don't want to drive down (about 10 min tractor ride vs 5 min drive). There's plenty of room and a lot space in the strawberry fields. Afterwards we did some fun activities like feeding the bunnies and playing on the wooden tractors they built, mini golf and the corn piles! They have bathrooms and food available onsite as well, very easily, as well as jam and snacks and toys to buy as souvenirs. The weather was amazing, not too sunny and not rainy - a lot of the activities are outdoors. Would definitely recommend!

There are a lot of activities especially for kids, they have a barn, jumping pillow, a corn area where you can stump on it. I think it was knee high! My parents enjoyed the barn as well, as you can see my dad is feeding a cow! We then went to the hay rides and went to get berries, was expecting other berries but we only saw raspberries and not that much. We returned our berries little container and exchanged it to vegetables bag instead. We purchased two vegetables bag and 10 stems of flowers for $10. It was a very nice place with a lot of things to do. They also have a lot of vegetables and flowers to pick! Some vegetables are peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, cabbage, and more! Amazing sunflowers all over as well. We will definitely be back again!

We discovered Wright's Farm by accident, our hotel concierge recommended we stop by the local farm…read morestand. Once we pull in, from the outside it seems like a typical farm stand. Walking inside, it's a different experience at Wright's Farm. This visit, I want to buy a bottle of local wine and some local cheese then go back to the hotel. I see there is a very nice selection of Hudson Valley and regional wines. I also buy a nice local, spreadable cheese along with some crackers. I noticed towards the back, I see a wall of homemade jams. And they're all packaged in these cute mason jars! Strawberry Jelly is a must but then we went a little nutzo with a few more jam flavors as well as homemade apple sauces, fresh cheeses and pickles! Sunday, its check out time and we're heading back to Long Island after breakfast. My wife said we need to go shopping for dinner today. I said, Let's go back to Wright's Farm and pick up dinner? And this was the highlight of our trip. In the cold cases, I see homemade ravioli, one of the stuffings was corn? I had plans to stop in The Bronx and get a few boxes of Raviolis. I gambled and said lets try their corn ravioli. O.M.G. This ravioli was fantastic! My wife made it with fresh sage from our herb garden. It was a little pricey but it was better than anything I had this year. For the week, we bought a large ham steak and a ham hock for pea soup. I saw something interesting, a black futsu squash? I told my wife, lets buy one and take a chance. Amazing! My wife cooked this squash and it came out deelish. Dessert? My sons inhaled the apple cider doughnuts we bought home for them. Wright's Farm, it was a pleasant surprise to discover your local farmstand.

This is the best place for apple picking in NY, hands down. Add on the fact they have several Hip-Camp spots for camping overnight, and a very large field for Harvest Host members to park overnight makes this one of our top destinations this time of year. Being only about 2 1/2 hours drive from Long Island it is well worth the pilgrimage to this incredible family run farm!

I visited in early fall (first week of October) on a Saturday and the farm was packed! They have a…read moregood system for parking, pretty well organized over all, and this is key. Upon arrival each person pays a $10 cover charge that you receive a ticket for use in the country store in the amount of $10, so technically you get your money back as long as you buy something. Honestly the visiting experience was only okay, I am not sure I'd go back or recommend it BUT this is tempered by the fact that I did buy the biggest, prettiest mum and I may go back again for another one next year. I definitely have the nicest mum in all of Jersey City. I think it was around $20 for my huge mum and I was going to buy some apple cider donuts, but when I saw they were charging $18 for 12 donuts I put the package back on the shelf.

Honestly best apple cider donuts I've ever had + freshly baked , not stale at all and very soft and fluffy (but you have to buy it in a dozen, you can't buy individual) Lots of apples to choose from ~5-8 kinds from evercrisp to snapdragon to gold rush. Gold rush & pink lady were my favorite. Atmosphere: Loved for fall! There's was live music, plenty of apples and pumpkins to pick from, plenty of benches and seating indoors and outdoors for eating, and areas for children to play Dogs allowed! Service: friendly everywhere!! Price: cheap for entry, food is $$. You have to pay a $10 fee but it goes towards anything you buy. For apple cider & cider donuts I would say worth the price. Apple picking is charged by the pound

I had the hardest time choosing between Arrowwood and Westwind (they are right next to each other),…read morebut in the end I went with Westwind due to the food menu. The food was incredible!!! Parking was easy to find, and it's across the street from the actual brewery. There's a lot of land and I like that they had cornhole and a cute shop with local goods and merch. There's a mix of outdoor and indoor seating, and we sat indoors since it was chilly (it's dog friendly). There is a sizable food menu, so we ordered the kale caesar salad and the capocollo pizza. We also got a cider flight and hot cider (not spiked but you can get it spiked). I looooooved the food, it was so good! Our salad came out pretty quickly and our pizza came out a bit after we finished eating the salad (they bring it to your table). I wasn't a fan of the hard ciders, but I loved my hot cider. There's also two gender neutral restrooms available indoors, as well as a cute array of ciders and merch for sale. I would def recommend coming here!

It would've been more interesting to people watch and bask in the vibrancy of the atmosphere if there were a larger crowd but this was a weekday evening. But still. The potential. Amazing ciders, and in fact might be the best I've tried so far. If you like dry and/or funky ciders, this would definitely be your jam. I would have bought some to go if I wasn't concerned about the logistics of traveling with them. Excellent food. I only tried the ragu per recommendation by the staff who checked me in. When the dish was delivered I was underwhelmed by how lackluster the presentation was, but then it proceeded to blow my mind by being one of the best pastas I've ever had. The meat chunks fell apart at the lightest touch of my fork, the sauce had a deep tomato-y savory flavor that was perfectly balancing out the dry ciders, and the pasta itself was clearly handmade and had the perfect texture. I still dream of this pasta, hence this very late review. The reason I didn't give this place a perfect rating is pretty straightforward: nonexistent service. You order and pay up front (although I suppose you could keep the tab open since this is a drinking type place), so I also tipped them up front a generous amount since my whole dinner/drinks were pretty substantial in terms of pricing and so I somehow assumed the service would be adequate to decent at the very least. Turned out this was a mistake. While they did deliver the food to my seat, that was literally the entirety of their service. For some bizarre reasons the server didn't bother giving me any utensils to eat with while dropping off the pasta. I was a little taken aback, so I asked the server and she dismissively pointed towards the main building and told me that that would be where I would find the utensils. So I went back in to get some plastic utensils feeling somewhat silly. On top of that I bussed everything after I was done with my dinner as there was an obvious spot designated for doing just that. Lesson learned about tipping prematurely, but angel's share, I suppose. All in all, I would still highly recommend this place to anyone who just happens to be in the vicinity, because even if it is a bit of a detour this mighty cidery/restaurant is worth a visit. I could imagine this being such a good time with outstanding food, ciders, and just some good ambience weather permitting. I will personally be looking to get my hands on those ciders come next cider season!
