Definitely a must go to! I went for a solo lunch and the restaurant is very spacious and offers indoor and outdoor seating (when it started to rain they were able to close off the ceiling). When you are seated they offer a complimentary "glass" of seafood broth that I think is to clear your tastebud pallet...very flavorful! As an appetizer I ordered the fried shrimp quesadilla (shrimp is crumbled) and it was the star of the meal! It is served in a small cup with/ refried beans and sour cream for dipping; sooo very good! The ceviche was packed with with full size shrimp and lightly seasoned; just needs a lil something with a kick and would be perfect. The mango whiskey drink was not very strong and I loved that they use a mango puree. I will definitely come back!

This is a picture of the two tacos. $19!! Ouch

Service was good. But the value for the food could be better. Here is a picture of 2 shrimp tacos. $19. Plus tax!!! Definitely not worth it. On the good side the servers were enthusiastic and the decor is beautiful. Maybe I'll just have a drink at the bar next time.

Fisher's had a nice vibe, great music, strong drinks, and energetic servers. However, as far as the food goes (which is the highlight of every restaurant experience for me), I was just not impressed and kind of felt a little bamboozled when we got our check for the meal. Firstly, I love to start things positively, and I have to give a shout-out to our server, Kevin! He was totally energetic, friendly, and hilarious. He was the highlight of our meal, and made sure that we were taken care of throughout dinner. We ordered: - Sangria & a margarita (these were very strong! Worth it) - Side of guacamole w/ chips - Shrimp ceviche - Camarones al mojo de ajo (I'd ordered garlic shrimp... but actually received camarones a la diabla???) - Shrimp quesadilla The food took forever to come out. This included the guacamole, which we had to ask for chips to accompany with? It was a bit odd. Then it was strange how the food came out separately. You can imagine my surprise when I realized I paid 3$ for a quesadilla that looked like it was meant for a 2 year old... it was tiny, didn't have much shrimp, and honestly was kind of flavorless. I wouldn't have cared so much, but being in Mexico, I've had delicious and huge quesadillas for less than a dollar! The ceviche was tasty, but nothing out of this world. When I received my plate, I noticed I received camarones a la diabla instead. I'd waited so long by this point that I decided not to say anything, and while the food was good, it also wasn't that flavorful. All in all, I'm positive I wouldn't be back and I wouldn't really recommend Fisher's to fellow Yelpers -- you're much better off with street vendors and there are very GREAT seafood restaurants in CDMX other than Fisher's.

So much fun!! And the food s great too! We got the pulpo tacos and the tuna tacos and w legit thought they were the best tacos ever. I've had so many tacos in LA but these had a depth and spice that you can find at the corner taco truck. Good drinks, fun music, super nice wait staff, loved it!

I went to a different Fisher's before with a local friend and LOVED it. It's a small chain that I think is 100% seafood. The portions are huge and you get a good deal for the price. Our servers were attentive and would go there weekly if I lived in Mexico City, but whenever I do find myself back in el DF, I'll make it a point to go there.

Worst place ever. A bunch of weird rules. Soup is super salty. Don't even provide water. Don't go.

Then, allow the friendly staff to bring as many items from the menu as you can handle. Come with a group so you can share. An absolute must is the whole fish done à la Contramar, one side of the split fish coated in a punchy parsley sauce and the other in a red adobo rub. Served with flour tortillas (which are refillable) and black bean dip, you'll be instructed how to compose perfect bites. Then, choose your own adventure! We also had both the 4 piece each shrimp tostadas and tuna tostadas. Radically different so getting both doesn't duplicate. The pasta (spaghettini) with clams was buttery and garlicky and the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked. Biggest surprise was the grilled soft shell crabs (with corn tortillas). They came pre cut then reassembled so it was easy to pick them up and pop them in your mouth. The grill flavor was fantastic and we were all impressed. We finished with a slice of coconut cake which was like a caramel coated macaroon. Perfect! Large wine list by the glass and bottle, many cocktails, sangria and beer to choose from. Definitely a place to visit when in Mexico City. Sorry for the lack of photos-- we forgot because we dove into each dish (we were hungry and they looked so good)! Got one good one though...

Loved the open kitchen environment, so you could really see the work they put into the dishes. The interior of the restaurant is stunning -- a mix of industrial + rustic that somehow worked perfectly together. I noticed a bunch of reviews complaining about the service, but our servers were rather pleasant to us. We decided to try some: TOSTADA DE PANZA ATUN and TARTAR: The tuna belly tostada is an absolute must order. Best bang for your buck because they really loaded on the tuna belly. It was buttery and melted in your mouth. The tartar tostada was also very delicious and the sweetness of the avocado balanced out the flavors. CEVICHE DE CARRETA: The presentation was lovely and the server encouraged us to take a pic before we mixed the seafood into the sauce. The sauce was divine and every piece of seafood was fresh tasting. Could not get over how sweet the avocados were too! The blue corn tostada complementing this was one of the freshest tasting tostada we had this whole trip. Luckily they refilled our tostada basket constantly, because we were going through these like nothing. OSTION KUMAMOTO and CENIZA: Incredibly fresh! I believe most of their oysters are from Baja California or Baja California Sur. The oysters had a very subtle brine to it, but also very sweet and creamy. Actually loved the ponzu sauce more than a standard vinaigrette. CAMARONES FRITO: I'm usually pretty particular with my fried shrimps, but my god these were delicious! Somehow the shrimps were fried so well that the shell blended seamlessly with the meat. These were served with two types of sauces: a garlic aioli and ponzu. Both paired very nicely with the shrimp -- the ponzu being my favorite. This was the perfect amount for my party of 2. After experiencing the quality of food and atmosphere, I get why they're a Michelin guide recommendation. Campobaja turned out to be our favorite meal of this entire trip and had us running back to our friends to tell them about it. Would definitely return!
