Once you book your flight to Mexico City immediately make a reservation at Bellopuerto! I absolutely love everything I tried here! My favorite was the complimentary salsas/sauces, bean dip, and tortilla chips. They are arranged from tasty to very spicy. I ordered the octopus tostada (it comes with guacamole lightly spread on the tortilla chip) and it was very good...just the right amount of citrus and octopus was very tender. I also ordered ceviche and it was prefect! Oh, don't forget to order a margarita on the rocks...I added mango flavoring!

Everything was AMAZING here. The fish was made oaxocan style and it was a standout for sure. The grilled pulpos was perfect, not too chewy. These two items were the perfect amount for me and my boyfriend. Our server was very attentive and even gave us some background on how they make the food. We decided to sit on the patio as it was such a beautiful day in Mexico City and it was so relaxing. Only con is the flys that start to come, but that's very normal when eating outside. We wrapped up lunch with carajillos and it was the perfect way to end it. Can't wait to come back again!

Cute place in Polanco that I read about having really good bone marrow with octopus so that was the main reason I wanted to go here. Went on a Friday night with a reservation, but there was only one or two tables that were taken so I don't think we needed one. The server was very attentive and everything was served in a reasonable amount of time. The octopus bone marrow was everything I wanted to it be! I definitely recommend getting that if you come here. Otherwise, we tried some of their tacos and a tuna tostada. The only thing that missed the mark was the tuna tostada, it tasted more like a tuna salad tostada, and we had much better (fresher) ones other places in CDMX. The drinks were good too, and a plus is that it's right across the street from el Moro! So come here then go get churros. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Bellopuerto, there are a lot of other restaurants around here too that looked busier though so I'm curious as to how those places were. Come here for apps and drinks then venture around.

Great seafood. We weee greeted with chips, spicy beans, habanero salsa and macha salsa. Food is very fresh. I had a shrimp cocktail and it was beautiful and delicious. We also tried the grilled octopus and it was very tender. Pasta was very flavorful. Server was excellent.

Yo veni para comer rapidito y habia muchas mesas abiertas. Pregunte por una mesa y me avisaron que estaba reservada, en 40 minutos. Soy morena y no me podian sentar. Nunca mas. Racismo.

We LOVE this place. Meal was excellent!! And service was so great and attentive. The grilled octopus is a must!! We enjoyed it so much better than Contramar's grilled octopus! This one had amazing flavor and you can select what it gets grilled with (we chose vegetables)! Cannot rave about it enough. The salmon ceviche was beautifully flavored. We are every little piece. My friend also got the shrimp taco which she also really loved! Honestly such a great meal and experience. Great location and vibes on the corner in the busy area and has a DJ with good music as well. Check this place out!!

This is a perfect location night or day but seems more like a lunch spot. The decor was bright and alive. Literally with plants hanging down and many fish art. Seafood is the entree of choice. The service was super. Stop here for a taste of Veracruz.

The Seabass wings are a life changing experience.

A great place to eat. Sitting right by the road watching all the folks go by was great but the food was over the top good. Ordered the Seabass wings that are a must have. Also ordered two tacos, one was the fried shrimp, the other the Tijuana. Both were really good. I don't care if you don't get anything else at this place, get the Tijuana taco. It will change you life. By far holds the record for me for the best taco on the planet. Simply legit.

Steak taco and the octopus ceviche. So good!

We were served blue corn tostadas with a few different sauces - all of which were tasty, especially the spicy creamy green one. We then ordered appetizers to share. All were tasty but hands down my favorite item was the pulpito. The octopus was so tender and went perfect with the little potatoes. I also really liked the rib eye tacos which came with the best red spicy sauce and the tiradito which is a campachi Crudo. From the cebiche tasting platter (no photo), I liked the atun the most. Of course we ordered desserts as well. I actually cannot remember the names but will comment on them with the attached photos. One I' didn't get a photo of was a chocolate dessert. It was very good but rich. If you're in the neighborhood I suggest trying this spot out.

We had the small octopus cocktail, grilled vegetables, spicy fish tacos, and soft shell crab tacos - that was plenty of food for the two of us. We were the only Americans there, but it was pretty obvious that we weren't locals so they gave us the English menus and our waiter spoke excellent English. The grilled vegetables consisted of marinated portobello mushrooms, green beans, and a carrot. The mushrooms were quite tasty. The octopus cocktail was very refreshing and the spicy fish tacos were pretty good too. We finished the meal with a corn bread dessert (much sweeter than American cornbread) and flan. The small plates are still tasty and unique but the flavors and portions have gone down. I got the bone marrow sopes, sopa de lima, oxtail gorditas, and beef tongue for tacos this time around. Everything was good, especially the beef tongue tomato stew which was super flavorful. The beef tongue was perfectly tender and so yummy with the broth. It was a bit odd to eat this in tacos though considering there was so much sauce but good by itself as well. The only dish I didn't like was the bone marrow sopes which this time around felt much smaller than when I had it last. There was barely any escamole which we added on and the bone marrow pieces were so small. While it was one of my favorites the last time I visited, I wouldn't get it again.

Being from California, I was surprised to hear that they opened their newest location at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas last month. We ordered the tuna tostada that people rave about. It was ok. We could have used some more assertive flavor from acid or spice. I couldn't eat a whole fish (their signature dish), so we went with shrimp in their adobo rub in a taco and fish al pastor. These were also just ok, but the price tags are high for their entrees. I've seen pictures of others fish al pastor with onions and cilantro and that certainly would have added something I felt was missing. The one thing we ordered and loved was their seasonal mackerel ceviche which was in an apple/citrus/olive oil sauce. It was unique and delicious. I think their ceviche and aguachile are probably their strengths, but the cost is pretty high to leave feeling underwhelmed. Honestly, we will be going back to mi compa chava for better seafood
