Picked up beer brats upon recommendation (and a crowd favorite), Mediterranean turkey burgers (super good and I enjoyed them more than my husband did if I'm to be honest), prime rib burgers (currently vacuum sealed in the freezer), skin on hot dogs (best ever), cheddar and jalapeño burger (another fave!), and maybe a couple others I can't recall. Everything so far- fresh and from what I've frozen, has been delicious. We typically shop at Paulina Market so it's been wonderful to find a shop closer at the same level (in our opinion). It's a spot to pick up fresh fish and seafood for frying, baking, whatever. If you like fried foods maybe you want to sample a few of the fried seafood items they prepare. Per Alex, they get a lot of business during the holidays and for summer barbecues. I don't think I've ever thought to prepare fish on the barbecue, that was something my parent's were into. Stand in their shop any amount of time and look into their cases and see these massive pieces of fresh fish, you start thinking about the possibilities. However, its bleak in here. A white room which is dated with a few knick knacks indicating that it's a fish shop. This place has witnessed time pass it by. As if like a time capsule. The fish cases only contain a few pieces of three or four types of fish on ice and for the person which is accustomed to eating fish daily, the selection would probably send most packing. Of course there is a wall menu with many names of fish available and maybe you need only ask to see what they have. Per a certification posted on their wall given by a group which practices sustainability, this seafood shop supplies Shaw's Crab house with seafood products. Make sure you tell them to do a good job on the frying and that you don't mind waiting for good product. I didn't think I would have to explain that since the first time was a LOT better. Oh well. My old man loves smelt but wasn't as thrilled with what they had here. Too bad they don't offer a prepared fish sandwich, that's one item I would drive somewhere for. The store was immaculate and well-stocked. They offered several brands of the item I was looking for. I couldn't leave the store without checking out their bakery department and treated myself a mile-high chocolate cake. It was the highlight of the visit. The cake was heavenly. The store shares an enormous parking lot with other businesses. I will definitely spend more time in the store on my next visit to see what else I can find.

The crispy new potatoes were perfectly crispy and the broccolini was sautéed and cooked very well. At the end of the day the service saved our experience. We got a case of nine Korean pairs which were individually wrapped, clear of bruises or other markings, Fresh and firm. The produce here is always fantastic we picked up a half pound of organic ginger and some purple potatoes. We also got some ready-made kimchi stew for only $7.99 a container. It saves a lot of work and is delicious to heat up quickly. The fish dipped an egg batter, is also favorite as well as the whole croaker (fish) that has been fried. The store is clean and well organized. We found over 10 kinds of wonton wraps in the freezer dedicated to them. And our favorite freezer section is probably the ice cream or popsicle sticks. I got the classic Melona bars and Dad got his favorite red bean popsicles. One of the great things about this H Mart is that they have side vendors and of those side vendors the one we visit most regularly is Miga Walnut Cakes.
