There is a sign on the front door that says, "21 and older." Well, I meet that requirement. But, I didn't get in the door for more than 30sec, when a young man that works at the bar, said that I needed ID. I asked him, "Do I look like I am under 21?" He said it didn't matter, that the sign out front says 21 and older, and I need ID to prove it. So I went back to the parking lot to get the ID from my car, and I showed him my ID. I also suggested, in summary, that he might be less curt about compliance. He interrupted me and said that I argued with him when he demanded ID. I tried to remind him that I only asked a question when he demanded ID. It was impossible to have a conversation with him, as it seems like he didn't want to listen, but just bark orders. I made a bee-line to the men's room. As I exited the men's room, and before I could order anything, he tossed me out of the building. Luckily, I took my business elsewhere.

When we requested them to put tables together they were so rude and acted like we were severely inconveniencing them. When it was time to order I nicely asked if it was easier for the server to divide the checks by our 3 families as we ordered or wait until they brought us the bill. Server says neither could be done. Their "system" wouldn't allow it. It would be impossible.. So I said that was odd because I eat out at least 3 or 4 times a week and usually it's not a problem.. So I offer what I thought was a reasonable solution ... They seemed so put out that they had to put together 3 small tables for our group so I suggested entering the order as 3 separate tables .. Nope! Couldn't be done. Food wouldn't come out at the same time. I said we didn't mind that. I even pulled our table a little away from the other 2 and said ... Ok, now we're our own table.. Nope! Couldn't be done.. best they could do is put everything on one check and we'd have to figure out how to divide it up ourselves and they could run separate cards. Now here's the thing if you're reading this thinking I'm just whining and being unreasonable.... I'm giving them my business.. it ended up being over $300 of business for them. I own my own business so I know the value of customer service. If I make a reasonable request for something that is done all the time at other places and they flatly refuse and do that with attitude,,, that is a horrible customer service. They do realize they're in a service industry,right??. When they tell me that my request isn't possible thats a lie because I do it all the time. What they are really saying is that they don't WANT to do it or are refusing to try to figure out a way to accommodate our request. Normally I tell the server that if they can't figure out a way to fulfill my simple request and we have to do it ourselves I'll just deduct some from their tip since I have to do their job and it seems they don't want to be inconvenienced. But since we were a larger group they automatically hit us with a service charge. So instead, next time we'll take our large group to Gomez's which I hear is better and hope the servers are more friendly and more accommodating.

When we walked in, we were quickly directed to the patio, just as we had requested. Our server, Ben, was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor. We started with some fried pickles , which were yum, and onions rings that were excellent, thin, fried, and crispy, of course! We had to try the garlic bread , which was tasty and toasty and a must-try appetizer. John Pizza was definitely a must, so we ordered a couple of pizzas to share. The crust was delicious and perfectly balanced with the toppings, and the cheese was just right, not too much. I highly suggest it as well.
