TL; DR Cannot recommend…read more 3:15 PM Wednesday I'm the only one in the place. Bartender says hello and what can I get ya. I asked for something like a pale, maybe local? Blank stare. "OK, what's that tap right there?" "Uh.....(reads tap)....says it's a wheat ale." Sounds good. I'll have a pint o' that, please. I had heard that this place had good pizza and I was looking forward to a personal/small/similar. Looking at the menu, I see there's only one size. "What size is your pizza?" "We just have the one size." "What size is that?" "Uh...I dunno. It's....its a large." "Okay, how big? This big? THIS big?" Shrugs. I ordered some wings. Bartender starts practicing cornhole. My beer runs out. I wait five full minutes, then walk over and ask if I might have another beer. The guy throws one more beanbag and then walks back behind the bar. I ask what my other beer choices are and after he names five kinds and stops talking, I figure that's all. I order. The wings came and they were okay. The extra hot sauce had zero heat, but whatever. Two li'l pieces of celery and one carrot; some canned BC dressing. The barkeep never did come and make sure everything was OK with the order. He spent the remainder of the time looking at his device. I paid my bill and did not leave a tip; no regerts.

There is a sign on the front door that says, "21 and older." Well, I meet that requirement. But, I didn't get in the door for more than 30sec, when a young man that works at the bar, said that I needed ID. I asked him, "Do I look like I am under 21?" He said it didn't matter, that the sign out front says 21 and older, and I need ID to prove it. So I went back to the parking lot to get the ID from my car, and I showed him my ID. I also suggested, in summary, that he might be less curt about compliance. He interrupted me and said that I argued with him when he demanded ID. I tried to remind him that I only asked a question when he demanded ID. It was impossible to have a conversation with him, as it seems like he didn't want to listen, but just bark orders. I made a bee-line to the men's room. As I exited the men's room, and before I could order anything, he tossed me out of the building. Luckily, I took my business elsewhere.

Somewhere along the way, I lost my ring and didn't realize it until later. When we returned a few days later, not only did we come back for more food (because it was that good), but the staff had actually found my ring and safely held onto it for three days. I was so relieved and incredibly grateful for their honesty and kindness--it really meant a lot. On our second visit, we tried the Parmesan wings and mozzarella sticks, and both were amazing. Everything we've had here has been fresh and flavorful, and the service goes above and beyond. Great food and genuinely good people. I can't recommend this place enough!

First off it looks very clean and comfy inside. The ambience is cozy. When I came in I asked for the menu and when I saw a garden burger I had to ask questions because the brand garden burger makes vegetarian patties but only one of them is actually vegan The garden burger is from US food brand Molly's kitchen and the AI tells me it is indeed vegan. It's just named as Garden burger. Looks like this would be good with the jalapeño substitution here's a really cool part, this restaurant shows up on PlugShare as having Tesla charger. Indeed it does have one around back and when I got there a Tesla was charging. Note that this is a level 2 charger. The owner has a Tesla but he just lets people use the charger at no cost. That's super cool because 395 can be a challenge if you're driving EV. Range anxiety contributes to appetite and it really is nice to be able to get a few electrons flowing while you go inside and have a bite However most people will want to go charge at the Shell station where they have both Tesla superchargers and Electrify America. I can confirm that the ladder was indeed working this weekend of May 9, 2026. There are four of them and they're in good shape. They are about $.64 per kilowatt hour that's cheaper than gas right now by all measures

We had a couple of options to pick from but thought to try this place. So glad we did. It felt very homey and the vibes were so nice. We ordered the Juanita's salad, duck quesadilla, and a lobster burrito with Spanish rice and refried beans. I also got a virgin peach margarita and my fiancé got XX beer. The staff was very friendly and attentive as well. I don't know what some of the reviews are saying. The food we got were so delicious. The lobster burrito and the duck quesadilla were so flavorful. Ive never had one like this before. I honestly think the food Mexican food here is way better than whatever we have in Hawaii. It was very chill and the server would check in on us and made sure we were good. If you're in this area, I would definitely recommend you to come try their duck and lobster items. Also the portion is very shareable so keep that in mind! I would definitely eat here again if we come back to Mammoth!

I took the 2nd 1/2 of that burrito with me for day two on the mountain. The cantina is upstairs and it's generally hopping in the late afternoon for aprés.
