Came here on a Saturday with 2 people. I love First Watch, whenever I am in a town with one I also stop by. I took my grandmother with me and she LOVED it! It was a lazy Sunday afternoon so we decided to check out this place nearby as we have driven by it numerous times. Apparently they have multiple locations so they definitely run a successful business model. You can conveniently get on the virtual wait list online. We were quoted 20-25 minutes, and when we arrived 25 minutes later we only had a 5 minute wait before getting seated. Modern decor inside as you walk in. Our order took around 20 minutes to come out which seemed reasonable but our waiter apologized for it taking so long, so I'm guessing the food typically comes out even faster? My partner got the Smoked Salmon Benedict and I opted for the Farmhouse Hash. Her benedict was somewhat underwhelming, the toast was a bit dry which usually makes or break a benedict. The salmon in it was just ok. The farmhouse hash was better; really liked the avocado which mixed well with the potatoes, tomatoes, and bacon and all of it tethered by melted cheese. The eggs however were overcooked, I asked for over easy but unfortunately the eggs were made over hard as you can see in the picture. Absolutely loved seeing what First Watch did with this space. The outside area has been completely transformed -- there's a walk up to-go area (genius!), lots of outdoor seating and even an outside bar area! The inside is bright and open and has a fun, family brunch vibe. Pro tip: While they don't take reservations, you can join the wait list online before you get there! It was pretty busy and we only waited a few minutes because we joined the list from the car on the way there. The staff was friendly and helpful but did seem to be used to turning tables very quickly. Pretty normal for a restaurant that focuses mainly on breakfast and some lunch but I imagine there are more customers who plan to stay a little longer because this location has brunch drinks. Our food was so good that I completely missed the opportunity to grab photos! We also tried a fresh drinks and the pomegranate one was our favorite by far. We will absolutely be back, especially when it cools off and we can sit outside! read more

I order from here frequently, and it's very inconsistent. Very rarely it has been phenomenal, but the majority of the time it is bordering on or completely inedible. Burned potatoes are a huge problem, and that is extremely consistent. I have never not received burnt to a char potatoes, so I avoid ordering those now. They're also undercooked inside which doesn't make sense. Burning food is a problem with other items, like the sliced ham (and sausage!). The ham isn't usually too bad, I've even had tender moist ham a time or two - but not this time. This time it looked like they ran it under the grill to collect as much char chunks as possible. The OJ was the worst part. It tasted like a green banana smoothie, bitter tart and thick. It was like they put whole oranges in a food processor and served it up. One sip and I regretted swallowing. This hasn't been the first time I've experienced this from First Watch. The only positive is they have yummy muffins, and typically good sandwiches. Although about half the time they forget to include the horseradish with the roast beef sandwich. read more

I guess I have to describe where this one is located since it seems like there are First Watches on every corner now in days. (watch out starbucks!) So this one is right across the street from Trader Joes on Mills. We came here spending early morning hours getting vaccinated. For a chain its really not bad at all. This First Watch is a new location that opened up. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant was packed, but we were lucky to be seated almost immediately on arrival. They have outdoor seating. It today was extremely hot out. I'm not sure how the folks didn't melt out there:) There is adequate shade though and though I like sitting outside at most places, today called for air conditioning:) Started it with coffee and came specifically for just a good old fashioned breakfast with eggs over easy, a slice of smoked ham, some thick cut multi grain buttered toast, and some potatoesAlso got to try a waffle and some turkey sausage. It was a bit of a disappointment at this location yesterday. We came in and sat down to a dirty table and mugs. Finally, we were rolling once the waitress came, and we ordered. Welp asked for napkins...twice she never brought them. My omelet had onions in it. My potatoes had all the grease out the frying pan on them and on my plate. It was horrible!!! It definitely was disappointing. She finally bought the food correctly but forgot the bacon for my daughter. They gave her sausage instead of bacon. We finally received the napkkns. It was a rough experience, especially since I do frequent first watch often. Spoke with the mgr, he apologized and gave us some free donuts and juice. We make it a point to go to a place at least 3 times before giving it a review. It really surprises me how people are lowering their standards. I guess it's because there are so many bad restaurants anymore, so when they rate this one they are rating and comparing it with another bad restaurant. First watch has to be one of the worst Restaurants for food quality, I have experienced in the Orlando Area in quite sometime. If it wasn't for eggs they would have nothing worth eating let's face it, it's kind of hard to screw up an egg. I rate first watch number 3 on the list. Extremely overpriced for the quality of food they serve. As far as the service that was hit and miss, we only went 3 times 3 times too many. 2 times the service was okay. 1 time we almost walked out. I guess we are going to stick to the more off the beaten path country style restaurants. I will give it a 10 for cleanness and appearance. Overpriced terrible food don't waste your money. read more

I have to update to 4 stars. The food was still good, but they had taken our favorite Market Omelette off the menu and offered only the Market Hash. The delicious, large mushrooms it used to be served with seemed to have been replaced by a lot of potatoes. Way too many potatoes compared with other veggies and eggs. Maybe because they are cheaper? This is still my favorite breakfast restaurant, but I was disappointed last time. We were celebrating a graduation and the graduate wanted french toast for brunch. There were eight of us and the choices were varied. What wasn't varied was the tasteless potatoes, slow service, no water refills and no manager visit. We sat outside. The outdoor seating was very pleasant. The food took awhile to come out. We had to ask for water and were brought small glasses. Apparently that's all you're allowed because we were never offered refills. The potatoes tasted like old oil and nothing else. I asked the server - Gloria - how they're prepared. She said olive oil and seasonings but that's not what I got. Four of us didn't eat them. Two of us said the potatoes were undercooked. I asked if Gloria mentioned it to the manager. She said yes but I never got a visit from the manager. We had paid for two of the potato orders as extra sides and they went to waste. I ordered my eggs over medium and one was medium and one was hard. The graduate enjoyed the regular french toast but the bananas foster french toast was just ok. The person who ordered the salmon frittata expected to see more salmon in it. We stayed upbeat because of the occasion but we should've gone to one of those cute places in downtown Winter Park. For $160 plus 20% tip it was a disappointing place to celebrate such a joyful occasion. read more

This place hits the mark. Been here a few times for brunch and it's consistently excellent food and service. The place is always busy, but with the waitlist, they give you a pretty good estimate so that you can time your arrival. I've usually been seated after only waiting a few minutes if not immediately. I love Smoked Salmon Benedict and they do it well here. Always super fresh ingredients, eggs perfectly poached, and the portion sizes are generous without being too large. So I normally love First watch. I ordered breakfast for myself for Mother's Day to take to the hospital where my husband is and has been for a week. I mistakenly ordered from WPV and not Aloma. When the team realized I ordered from the wrong location they kind of shrugged and said sorry. They did not offer to quickly make me a waffle and bacon or anything else. This is very disappointing customer service and on a day when I was feeling defeated anyway. Understand it was MY FAULT, but they could have made a difference. I am a First Watch lover so when one opened near my house in Winter Park I was super excited! Parking is usually bad around here but they had parking in the back which was nice. Went on a Monday morning and even though it was busy inside, we had no trouble finding parking. They have a bar with half inside and half outside which I thought was super cool. The rest of the outdoor seating area is very cute, with a rustic, farmhouse look - really nice for an outing with friends or family. I got my usual - the A.M. Superfoods Bowl and the presentation was different than usual - but the taste was just as good! I am obsessed with their Almond Butter + Sea Salt toast as well as the iced coffee (sweetened). If you've never ordered this coffee you're missing out!! Also ordered was the spring special, the Pork Carnitas Omelet which was spectacular!! I DEFINITELY recommend it - wow. The service was good, we had initially requested seating outside but asked to move inside because of the weather being cold and windy and they were super nice about it. My family and I used the first watch app to put ourselves on the waitlist. We were promised a table by 11:58 AM, and then by the time 12:25 PM came around, we asked the host what happened to our waitlist reservation and he says that it never runs on time. So what is the point of having a waitlist on your app? I had to be at work in an hour at that point and with an extremely overcrowded and busy restaurant, I felt very anxious and rushed to order and get in and out so I could make it to work.
