Went for breakfast today and enjoyed our experience! Parking is a little tricky given the busy area the restaurant is located in, but there was no wait to be seated on a Sunday morning. I loved their morning meditation juice, which I had been craving since my last visit here! For breakfast, I had the frittata rustica, which had mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and cheese! I recommend substituting the greens it comes with for their roasted potatoes. Overall, a nice meal!

First time at 'First Watch.' It sits in a very busy complex, so parking is free but can be challenging. A bright, clean, wood modern home style interior. I have to say that the service was not great at first. We were sat quickly, but then waited in excess of 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Someone who was seated after us was greeted and served before us. I know this because I took photos when I walked in and the timestamp showed me he wasn't there. Once our server came over, she was indifferent, but was attentive & polite to us as time went on. A friend who had been there a few times actually warned me about the "hit or miss" service, as she described it. For food we had the Biscuits & Turkey Gravy w/Eggs, Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash, Million Dollar Bacon, & Purple Haze. We also upgraded our potatoes to the Million Dollar Potatoes. Overall an Ok experience service wise, but the food itself was EXCELLENT!! We absolutely enjoyed everything that we had. I kept my promise to visit this location after a great first-time experience at the Woodbridge, VA spot (check out my review there!). I actually like this location even more--it's conveniently located right next to LA Fitness, where I'm a national member. It's great to have a healthy spot to eat after a tough workout. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits (delicious), the Blueberry Lemon Cornbread (a bit too sweet for my taste), and the Watermelon Wakeup (fresh-squeezed and refreshing). Amanda was my server, and she was fantastic--friendly and attentive. She even let me sample the juices so I could pick the one I liked best (Watermelon Wakeup for the win!). I'll definitely be stopping here again whenever I'm passing through NJ, to try some other things on the menu.

Stopped by this place after the gym and was pleasantly surprised!I was seated right away, which I appreciated. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish. Great decor and a nice vibe overall. Service was great, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Kale Tonic to start, and it was fresh and delicious. For my meal, I went with the shrimp and grits, and honestly, it was good.Definitely recommending this spot. There's still a lot on the menu I want to come back and try!

We were a group of nine, we booked the reservation for our group. We had an amazing time we all had different things and then enjoyed them all. Three of us got the morning meditation drink and I'll agree that it was delicious. Three of us also got the elevated egg sandwich (I got my eggs scrambled instead of fried) the sandwich is delicious. The only complaint we had is that the potatoes that the meals come with weren't that good, and the avocado/guacamole portions were little. The pricing here was great. I would definitely come back again. Our waitress Olivia provided great service and made sure we were taken care of.

Came back for another brunch. Had to start with the Million Dollar Bacon, then ordered the Belgian Waffle, Avocado Toast, and Farmhouse Hash. Everything was great!

Service was excellent, Friday 10:30 am wasn't a long wait, and the food came out fast but I thought the omelet was lacking. It barely had any chorizo in it and the only thing that saved it was the cholula hot sauce on the table

Tatianna owned the room, she was an excellent server full of energy and recommendations. Great breakfast or brunch place for meet ups or family outing. The food was excellent, try the shrimp & grits and watermelon drink. Would definitely return. Lots of healthy options and quick service. Hidden gem

I had a delivery order, so I can't speak on in-house service, however my food arrived at my door within the time frame I was given, and was still warm. The lemon blueberry cornbread is incredible- it was shared and finished before a picture was even taken. I had the breakfast burrito which was huge and very filling. My one gripe with First Watch is that very often there are chunks of undercooked potatoes. It has happened too many times to not point out, clearly they're consistently being undercooked and it wasn't a one-off. Overall, decent breakfast/brunch spot especially for a quick delivery if you're feeling extra lazy and don't want to leave your house -or cook.

    Food is good. Shitty service.

Food is good but it doesnt make up for the shitty service. Sat and waited for over 1.5hrs while there were plenty of vacant tables at all times (6 i counted). There is a 15min grace period hold on the tables for every party. Because "management" does not know how to seat people based on available chairs, they just rely on their software on the ipads to tell you who is in front of you. Oh and the check-in text still has not updated me, one day after the "experience". There is no reason to wait over an hour for literally breakfast food. Seriously. Just go support your local diners instead of these tech reliant restaurant chains. It will be cheaper too and just as good. Price: it is not cheap for what they serve. 2/5 stars for that. Add the ridiculous wait time as an insult to injury. Before they tell you it is a hour+ wait, look around for at least 10mins and you will see frequent empty tables. This is a noticeable trend for the two times I have visited. And since management will respond with a copy and paste customer satisfaction response to this review, they can take their point of sale ipad to seat customers and throw it out the window because its a horrible system. If i can rate this place a zero, I would. I get faster seating at a Cheesecake Factory on a Sunday afternoon than this place. Seriously, just support your local diners.

First watch is a great healthier option. Lots of options and great juices. It was a bit of a wait so I'd make a reservation if possible but definitely worth the wait. There are gluten free options which is a plus.

Our first time here, I heard about First watch from a friend's recent dining experience. Since I am always looking for new breakfast places, we went in as a small group of friends . Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The service was very quick. The ambiance is nice and inviting, was bustling was a weekend morning as expected. We ordered Market hash skillet, eggs, waffles, fresh toast, morning juice, lots of coffee. The market hash was a 3/5, the base was primarily potato's. My order missed a lot of the veggies. However the potatoes were seasoned really well. Most of the other dishes were really a 2.5/5, failed to hit the mark overall with both presentation and flavors. Including the coffee which everyone on the table agreed, was not good. Though we were all really excited to have a good first experience, unfortunately I think it just did not work for me.

In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home. We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world. Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did. We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it. Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.

Great dive bar. Food is just meh, but I mange my expectations. I was not expect anything great…read more Either way what I got was just what I wanted and expected.

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I had the sisig flatbread and the pork croquette. The sisig flatbread had very unique and complex flavors. I thought it was very creative. The croquette was fresh and tasty, but it was truly the sauce that came with it that was the star of the show. It bold and vinegary and tasted great with the sisig flat bread as well. I tried a bit of my friend's pandan waffle and it was quite tasty! I could really taste the pandan. Now the bad. The ube latte was mediocre. I asked for mine with matcha, but I really couldn't even taste the matcha. I think next time I might try their other drinks to see if there is a difference. However, I was really expecting better. Overall: I'd say the food is better than the drinks, which is a bit of a disappointment because I was hoping for both to be out of this world. The service was good and the staff was very kind. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well.
