I usually love coming to this place after I go to the gym for a quick bite but today was very disappointing. not sure if it was just one of those hard day or what but our server argued w me about my tea being sweet? not sure why it matters but I asked for sweet & it clearly wasn't & just said "well it got it from the sweet tea jug"... ok. our food took a while to come out & when it did it was not even warm. I still ate it considering it was still good regardless but still.... our server forgot our "special" drink and still tried to charge us for it. just overall not a good experience unfortunately read more

This place is amazing! Delicious food awaits you. They have a brunch menu to enjoy with the whole family or girls breakfast date for some mimosas. The waffles are my favorite here! I've tried so many brunch places in the Dallas Fort Worth area and nothing compares to First Watch. The staff and management here at this location were top notch, welcoming, attentive as soon as you walk through the door. We have dined here several times. Although the food is good, the service is terrible. If you put your name on the list, plan on waiting an extra 15 minutes or more after the time they tell you. Once you order, plan on waiting a ridiculously long time for food to be delivered. And don't even attempt a Door Dash. It will arrive late, cold and wrong. We've eaten at a few other First Watch restaurants. They are all fine. This comes down to poor management. read more

Please be cautious and smart when reading these reviews. Yes, the wait time is very long. This is only because the entire town wants to eat here and it's just one building. The food is excellent, the staff are so friendly and are all hustling. Use the online waitlist option as it is accurate. Told us there was a 90 minute wait. We signed in and showed up in 80 minutes. We were 5th in line and seated right at the 90 minute mark. Our food took 6 minutes to receive after ordering and was even better than expected. So, definitely go! We have had a couple visits to first watch and they have been decent. But this one topped the cake, and it was because the service was amazing. We had Gina as our server and she was attentive and sweet! We did have an issue with my omelet coming out with mushrooms..but she fixed it in such a timely manner it didn't effect my meal at all. I don't understand how this restaurant can exist. Very poor service (our server was pleasant, but appeared to have too many tables), perhaps they are understaffed and under trained. It took 4 minutes for us to be greeted by the "hostess". The hostess was also taking payments. So, as more people came to her station to pay, she took care of them before seating us. I had to speak up and she reluctantly seated us, saying nothing. Very rude! The food was ok and again, our server was very nice and I had no issues with her. This place is absolutely awful. I wish I could give it zero stars. We like to give establishments more than one chance because everyone can have a bad day. My wife and I have given First Watch 3 tries, only to be disappointed each and every time. Each time, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. It's eggs and pancakes. An hour? Give me a break. The 3rd (which will be our last visit) we spoke to the manager. She was clueless on how to deal with the ongoing terrible service. She's clearly new at running a restaurant and if not, she needs to find some other work because this isn't her thing. We won't ever be visiting this place again and we'll be sure to let friends and family know to stay clear. Even our waitress was embarrassed and told us "this happens every day." We told her to find another place to work because she deserved better. She could have turned 4 tables in the amount of time we sat there, which in turn, could have made her 4 opportunities to make tips. Why any server would put themselves through this, is beyond me. Today was not the best experience. I ordered online for pickup since I have three young kids. Typically the food is set on the shelf so I can just pull up and grab it and go without getting my kids out of the car. I pulled up and checked multiple times before calling and asking if my order was ready about 10 minutes past the time it said it would be ready. They informed me it had been ready and sitting at the host stand inside the restaurant instead and that I can go get it. (You couldn't bring it to the shelf where other orders had been placed in the time I waited for mine?) So I locked my car and ran inside grabbed my bag and left. I got home to find that I was missing not only the multi grain toast with one of my breakfast meals, but also the orange juice that was ordered with the kids meal. I really do like first watch, and the help was rather quick today, but the food was subpar. I ordered to go, and love 5 minutes down the road. The bread was completely soggy and there was way too much avocado put on top of the avocado toast to where I couldn't even enjoy it, I ended up just throwing everything away because it was inedible. The eggs were the only decent thing and now I feel like I wasted money. Big fan of First Watch, but the Prosper location I definitely would not recommend. We arrived with a 30 min wait to be seated. After ordering, we sat for over an hour waiting for our food. My husband and I went there for brunch a week and a half ago. We knew the wait was going to be long, and we were okay with this however once we ordered, our food took a long time to get to us. Most importantly, it was cold, for both my husband and I. The butter on top of his pancakes wouldn't even melt!! Tried this place for lunch today and could not have been more disappointed. They certainly need more time to get their act together - they are nowhere close to being ready for the prime time location they are sitting in. My food was okay. My wife's food was prepared exactly the opposite of what she requested. She asked if they could go very light on the cheese in her omelet. It was prepared the opposite - it may have had a pound of cheese in it. About an inch when she cut into it. We mentioned it to our waitress and she just said "oh, well. sorry about that". No offer to fix it in line with what we ordered. No offer to order something different, just a sorry. It sat on the table the whole time untouched. When we were paying, same thing happened with the cashier. We explained it wasn't prepared as ordered and was not touched and we received a sorry. No offer to adjust the bill or allow us to provide feedback to a manager. Just a sorry (which I guess is better than nothing, but not the standard in the restaurant industry nowadays). The service was also very subpar. Extremely long wait to even see a waitress. The three times we saw our waitress we asked for water. Never received any. I also ordered a juice and it showed up the same time as our bill - well after I had finished my meal. We left and drove across the parking lot and ordered a meal from Panera Bread for my wife as she never touched her meal. My donuts never came, my biscuits & gravy were so cold the gravy didn't move, my eggs were hot, my potatoes were cold & undercooked & my sons pancake was so cold the butter didn' even melt. I came in and was seated facing the open kitchen and watched server after server walk past me and stare at me without greeting me or even offering a water. I finally shrugged at the hostess like "am I going to be helped?" She went into the kitchen and said something then 2 of the ladies went into a corner where I could no longer see them, then Destinie came over and said nothing other than "sorry about that". I ordered a water and a power wrap, which was fantastic, but I had no hot sauce at my table. I never saw Destinie again so I got up and got my own hot sauce. One gentleman apologized for me having to do that. Destinie then brought my check without ever saying a word other than "sorry about that" in the very beginning. I think we would have had a better experience if we dined in. I'm usually a big fan of First Watch. This takeout was not that good. The chocolate chip pancakes , lemon ricotta and carrot cake pancakes were the winners of the meal. The eggs weren't good. I asked for and paid for cheese to be added to my eggs. I get that they're new.. but it was not a good experience. Our waitress didn't check on us, the eggs didn't come out right. For some reason there was chicken in the egg tacos? Which I did see on the menu, but it was definitely an odd choice. The coffee was fine. But I put one star because it was over priced pretentiousness without any of the quality food to back it up.
