Located at the Gates of Prosper. Neat and fresh restaurant for your brunch. Family friendly. Love their healthy juice menu. Food tastes good. Tried their Honey Caramel Crunch iced coffee which I love very much. First time experiencing warm bottle of maple syrup which I think pretty cinsiderate. It made my french toast taste better. Friendly and attentive staffs. Adding it to my go-to place when visiting Dallas next time.

First Watch Prosper, TX - Breakfast as a Symphony Breakfast, done right, is less about food and more about orchestration. At First Watch in Prosper, TX, Everyone, including Ashley, Darin, David, Chris, Josie, and their conductor-in-chief, General Manager Karen Watson, treats the morning meal the way a maestro treats a symphony--each plate, each pour, each smile an instrument tuned for harmony. For me, the Chickichanga paired with a Morning Meditation juice on my birthday wasn't just a meal; it was an overture. My wife--ever the culinary explorer--finds joy in every dish she tries, though the Million Dollar Bacon remains her encore request. What's striking isn't just the menu, but the mindset. This team elevates breakfast and lunch from something transactional into something transformational. They invite us to stop overthinking the most important meal(s) of the day. Start here. Experience the rhythm. Thank me later.

My wife and I visited this location on a Thursday morning. It was fairly busy, but not overwhelmed. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was friendly. Everything appeared nice and clean. The menu has a nice selection, including some items that you typically don't find at most brunch locations. The food was very good. If there are issues that keep this location from having more stars than what is does, it probably has to do with service. We had to wait a long time before someone came up to the counter to acknowledge us and even longer to be seated. It took quite a while before someone took our order. It took much longer than expected to receive the order. When the waitress brought the check, I asked her if I should pay her or up at a register. She responded that either would be fine. So I placed my card down in front of her and said giving it to her would be fine. She gave a quick glance my way and said the register will be fine. ??? So I took the check up to the register and waited. And waited. And waited, until the same waitress came up and took my payment.

First Watch - Prosper Our group of four came here for breakfast on a recent Wednesday morning. Surprisingly, the restaurant was almost empty. Thus, lucky of us, we were seated right away. The service was quick and friendly, fully explaining the menu and the seasonal specials. My pancake was exceptional, huge and tasty. The eggs and bacon were good, too, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, a nice breakfast at an OK price.

Wanted to try something new so of course I went to yelp and looked up some brunch spots that were close to me and First Watch was it. Place is really nicely decorated with I would say a bougie country vibe. But an I'm a guy so ya I could be way off but let's just go with that. Menu was normal a couple of fat guy options and then a lot of other stuff. So the fat guy pick for me was the million dollar bacon and on my momma that stuff was on point as us kool kids say. Thick and crispy and packed with flavor and I didn't even use the maple syrup. I had this as an appetizer because well it's Bacon? My wife had the chorizo omelette and I had the meat lovers and both were good. They have this homemade bread that's all healthy and stuff but was legit good and served with in house preserves... Then the country potatoes, seasoned and crispy and probably the second best thing I had here. Definitely a good go to if you're wanting something new or just a great meal. Reason for the 4 star is because on the sweeteners that they offered, stevia and some type of brown sugar stuff?? (This is not ok for coffee guys.. be healthy in other way but you don't mess with the coffee. Just be normal and have sugar on the table. Fatboy tip: Million Dollar Bacon, bacon, bacon and ya bacon. Please let me know if you try it.

Not a drop of syrup in this. Why? Not a cheap menu so please give people real syrup, right?
    Sheila R.

Really disappointed that First Watch decision makers chose to NOT use real syrup. For a "healthier" type of place- I assumed the syrup would be real and it was sugar and caramel color.

My mom eats here all the time & gets the same thing - The Traditional: scrambled eggs, bacon, English muffin and fruit. She likes it. I've only been here once and haven't had the same experience. I ordered the Trifecta: scrambled eggs, chicken sausage & a lemon ricotta pancake instead of the waffle which was a $3 extra charge to substitute. Only to find out the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are just regular pancakes with lemon curd and strawberries on top, not a lick of ricotta anywhere in this pancake! This is a pancake topped with lemon curd & strawberries! Either change the name or actually make a lemon ricotta batter to hold up with the name.

I've never had a bad meal or experience here. Wish it was closer to home though as I'd be here much more often. Aside from great food and great service, I LOVE that they use ocean-friendly straws (scuba diver here!). Usually I skip the straw, but it's nice to have one that makes it easier to drink through all the ice, AND doesn't negatively impact the ocean. This IS something I take into consideration when choosing places to eat. Although my impact may be small, it's still an impact I'm happy to make. The ONLY thing I don't like about it here is the noise level. Wish they'd do something to make it a little less noisy... it's like an amphitheater in there lol.

The service here has continued to go down hill and was probably the worst my last time in today. I thought it would get better but it has not. A table for 1, 10 minutes to order, 30 minutes before my food came out; Turkey omelette and multigrain pancake plain, but an omelette and waffle with powdered sugar came out. Asked for pure maple syrup before the food, he brought regular. Asked for pure maple with the corrected order, it showed up. The same person who took my order no longer waited on me, the corrected pancake came out 10 minutes later. My original waiter was paying all his attention to a single table with 2 young girls and never came back. About 45 minutes into a dining experience that should be no more than 40 total. $38 meal with horrible service, no apology, explanation, or thank you and now I don't think it can get any worse there. I will not be back.

I am so happy they opened one up here In Prosper! I highly suggest you logging in online and getting on the waitlist. Food is great I'm so happy they offer gf options. My husband is obsessed with the sausage and gravy. I love the chicken pesto gf bowl.

I visited this location on Dec 9th. Very friendly staff and our waitress knew her menu which is always a plus. Food was delicious . I got the special which was a purple hash , it had egg , potatoes and pork shoulder. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and my cousin had a simple scramble eggs and bacon . We had cranberry mimosa that was great. Very nice ambiance and great location. I will be back for sure .

The hamburgers? Frozen meat patties that tasted like they'd been excavated from the back of a 2019 freezer. My fish and chips came with fish that smelled like it had been on a week-long bender in a dumpster behind the pier. And the lobster ravioli? Let's just say the only thing "lobster" about it was the price tag. The pasta was sad, the filling was suspicious, and the whole thing felt like a culinary war crime. But hey, at least the ambience is great! Beautiful lighting, nice decor, perfect for pretending you're having a fancy night out... while quietly plotting your escape to literally any other restaurant. Oh, and don't worry about the shortcuts -- when they're done disappointing your taste buds, they'll hit you with a credit card fee for the privilege.
