This place is nothing fancy. It's like a Denny's but with better quality food. The service was fast and friendly and the place was clean-- even the restroom. It has an open kitchen. I live a waking distance from this restaurant and have eaten here a total of 5 times (three times before I was on Yelp). Though the staff are super friendly here their food is pretty average but pricey. I had a smoked salmon eggs Benedict here and it came out very disappointing. The smoked salmon barely resembled smoked salmon (taste and texture of nasty sushi buffe smoked salmon) and the hollandaise sauce was flavorless. I tried the another eggs Benedict anothet time to give it another chance and it was the same flavorless dish. The breakfast potatoes were oversalted both of the times we ordered them. My sister and dad were not pleased with the portions for the price they charge. The only thing we actually really liked was the candied bacon (I believe it was called Million Dollar Bacon?). It was nicely sweet, savory, peppery, and rich. I would probably come back to taste the hyped avocado toast, but not any time soon. read more

I walked I and of course it's a Sunday, so I asked if there was a waiting list. The gentleman responded: of course there is! With a mocking face. I said: oh... Unfortunately I have to give them a star. I'd rather give NO stars. Went in with a party of 7. We were the only ones waiting until several other couples showed up. There were tables next to each other which they could have put together for our party easily. Instead they started seating all the other parties which came is after us. When the manager was approached he could care less. Totally ignored us. Extremely rude. Horrible service. Would never go back. They just lost several couples business. Went to SKILLETS. Very friendly. Excellent service. Excellent food. I was shocked to see how the manager of Firstwatch offered no explanation as we started to walk out. Very unprofessional. Very unorganized. After a recent visit and spending more time waiting for a table, then eating breakfast. They'll never see our faces again! We walked in and stood at the counter waiting to be seated. After a few minutes we asked if we could just sit down, because there were plenty of available tables. We were told no, that they would seat us. After constantly watching people who came in after us being seated, we asked if they forgot about us. They said that they didn't and just kept seating customers. Even some customers asked if we were here before them? The guy at the register was rude and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, maybe he didn't want to do the register and seating. Anyway they should take much better care of their customers. I say pass on this chain!!! Save yourself the grief! I even wrote the home office to let them know. NO REPLY ! I would give this First Watch 5 stars except they keep under-cooking the waffle, leaving it rather soggy in the middle despite repeated requests. Some may like their waffles that way... The roast beef and roasted veggie sandwiches are incredible and the service is always good, especially our favorite, Dawn! We have come here frequently in the last four years, and always have the best food. They have changed the menu recently, it is even better than before. We are treated like family as they open the door for you when they are not super busy. The servers are happy and fast, and work as a team to get your food to the table as soon as possible. The eggs are fresh, and the bacon yummy. Pancakes are some of the best I have ever had. The roast beef, ham, chicken salad, and Monterey club sandwiches are great! My mother in law and her family go here every sat or sun. The staff is courteous knows pretty much everyone's order and always welcomes us with smiles. They care about their customers. I always get the key west crepe eggs. Never had an issue and if our party of 10 or more did they fixed it graciously and fast. Good prices and a menu with numerous options. read more

I've been to this location many times and never have I experienced the poor customer service I did this morning. When I called to place my order via phone the girl was extremely rude telling me that she would make an exception this time but right now they prefer I order via website, door dash, or Uber eats. Before she hung up she reminded me once again to please not call and place orders over the phone but neglected to tell me my order total or when the food should be ready. Upon arriving to the restaurant I saw that they were in fact doing dine in seating and non of the hostesses were wearing masks. So I'm not sure what the big stink was about me walking into the restaurant to pick up my food? When the girl came to check me out she acted super inconvenienced and I'm pretty sure it was the same girl who had taken my order over the phone. Needless to say it was a pretty rough experience and I will not be back to this location. read more

I was thoroughly disappointed by the food in this place. "Disappointed" does not do enough justice for the horrible food they serve here. We ordered French toasts, pancakes and waffles. Also an omelet and some extra bacon strips, etc. Pancakes were the only 'decent' food. French toasts were so dry and plain. Omelets and eggs were very DRY and mucus-like. The sunny side up eggs were so improperly cooked that the white park looked like snot. No food was properly seasoned, they taste all so plain and bland. The omelet was worst with very dry egg with no taste from the ingredients inside. The quantity of the food was also small and my husband ordered extra bacon which smelled too piggy that it made me nauseous. Other people's scrambled eggs looked so dry too, I had to take many looks at the chefs (they have an open kitchen) to see who's cooking these terrible food. It was $60 spent in the restaurant which I would rather have tossed in a trash can. Yuck yuck yuck. read more

Food was not good. Eggs were not cooked correctly. Pancake was dry despite the fresh blueberries adding moisture. We had to request syrup twice, but the service was the best part of the meal.
