    Wild Berry Lavender French Toast
    Corey S.

I went here for brunch and loved their new spring menu items! I got the wild berry lavender French toast which was delicious. The lavender whipped cream was not too sweet and was full of flavor. We got seated right away which was amazing for getting there at 10:45am on a Saturday. The food and drinks came out fast and the staff was friendly. The Lakewood location was pretty spacious and plenty of seats available. Definitely worth checking out and trying the seasonal items!

How could this possibly be $17?? I was shocked when I received this order. I hate leaving bad reviews, but the portion size and quality of food was extremely disappointing, and the potatoes were barely even cooked. Unfortunately, my husband's farmhouse hash was similar. I'm not sure what happened here, but I won't be able to order from here again.

Came here on a Sunday morning, thankfully they were open early because we came in around 7:30am. We were seated immediately as there were only a few tables filled. Our waitress was great and took our drink order very quickly. The food came out pretty quickly in around 5-10 minutes. Definitely a lot of food we had quick a bit of leftovers. You pay at the front on the way out the door. I did take a star off as the prices as very high for basic breakfast food ($7 for a plain pancake) and for some reason they moved a family with screaming kids right next to us even though there were only 4 tables in the entire place. Overall good experience 3.5/5 stars.

Review for First Watch - Ignorant, Rude, and Unaccommodating Toward Service Dog Handlers I recently visited First Watch and was completely appalled by their ignorant and dismissive treatment of my legally protected service dog and myself as his handler. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated a total lack of understanding regarding ADA regulations and basic customer service. As we were seated, my service dog was calmly positioned next to me. However, the waitress approached him too quickly, startling him, which understandably led to a single bark. She also almost stepped on him, which I acknowledge was an accident. But instead of showing even an ounce of understanding or professionalism, she immediately called over her supervisor, who proceeded to lecture me and my guests about how 'service dogs can't bark' and that he would need to leave immediately. I attempted to explain why he barked, but the supervisor kept talking over me, refusing to listen and treating me as if I had done something wrong. Instead of handling the situation with respect and professionalism, she postured herself at a deliberate distance from our booth, amplifying her voice so the entire restaurant could hear her chastising me. This was not only completely inappropriate, but it felt intentional--designed to publicly humiliate me rather than address the issue with even a shred of discretion. She could have easily spoken to me directly at a normal volume, but instead, she made sure everyone around us knew she was "handling" the situation. To make matters worse, the night before, we dined at another restaurant where my service dog was welcomed and allowed to sit in the booth with me, as has been the case in multiple establishments. We were unaware that First Watch had a policy prohibiting service dogs from sitting in booths. Rather than informing us politely, the supervisor once again lectured us in an aggressive and dismissive manner, making the entire experience unnecessarily uncomfortable. For the record, ADA regulations clearly state that service dogs may only be removed if they are out of control and the handler does not take appropriate action to control them. A single bark, in response to nearly being stepped on, does not qualify as disruptive or excessive behavior. First Watch's ignorance and lack of proper training on service animal laws are absolutely unacceptable. If you're looking for a service-dog-friendly establishment that actually understands ADA regulations and treats disabled patrons with respect, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. First Watch desperately needs to educate their staff and supervisors before more customers are subjected to this kind of treatment.

Our newest favorite breakfast place! The feel is open, clean, friendly. One of my favorite things to do is find out from the servers who THEY recommend. Madison, our server, did not disappoint! I had the Superfoods Bowl, who she told us was her current favorite. Coconut Chia pudding with fresh fruit and their granola that came with a side of toast with a nut butter. Yummm. Hubby had the Tri-Fecta breakfast with a Belgian waffle. He loved it (which is saying something since he makes his own Belgian waffles & is quite picky about them). Also had a side of their specialty bacon -- out of this world good. Great coffee to boot. Nice to have a new favorite.

Biscuits and gravy (side item) plus potatoes

We eat at First Watch frequently so assumed it would be a good option for a quality breakfast while traveling. The food was lackluster at best. All of it needed more seasoning, the potatoes were simultaneously not crisp enough on all sides and burned on the one side that was crisp, and the gravy wasn't thick enough. The crispy potatoes is one of my favorite things about First Watch, but these potatoes would have left a first time customer wanting to never try it again. They were seriously charred. My husband eats the biscuit and gravy *every time* we eat at a First Watch--legit about 20 times a year in different cities. He loves that dish, but he complained about this one. He said the gravy was soupy, like it didn't cook long enough to thicken up. Here are the positives: the location is nice and clean and rhetorical service was lightening fast. Like the food came out within about 5 minutes, even with modifications made to the dishes. The swiftness was impressive but maybe a little more time spent preparing the food would have helped. Long story short: love FW but wouldn't recommend this location.

Delicious breakfast! Good after a long day of travel, a positively massive pancake! Staff was friendly and we were seated and served promptly. Lots of beverages to choose from and a fairly unique breakfast/lunch menu. Indoor and outdoor seating available and would seems like a good place for a large group.

Coming here on a Sunday morning which was also a holiday made for an easy visit. We were sat immediately and the waitress was polite, friendly and professional. I ordered my go to Eggs Benedict with bacon and it was fresh, delicious, and aesthetically pleasing. After ordering the food was delivery quickly. The interior of this restaurant was clean as well as the exterior of the building including the parking lot. I shall return when in the area again.

Pretty hip and high end brunch vibe (like arugula salad brunch vibe) with farm house interior deco at regular brunch price. Good service. Great food.

My friend suggested meeting her for an early birthday get together. I've heard mixed reviews about this place, however, my philosophy is: try it first before making a decision. It's tucked away in the King Soopers mall and somewhat difficult to find if you're not familiar with the shopping mall. The service was great and the restaurant is comfortable. The food was a different story. I ordered the salmon Benedict and my friend ordered a special. The arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered and they were both cold. We wanted to get the attention of our server who apologized, took our plates and returned with another order of our food. My friend's order was okay but mine was still borderline cold. I may try another location since there are several restaurants nearby.

OH MYYYYY! The new Fall menu has arrived! The "Million Dollar Harvest Hash" is da Bomb! Bacon, Sweet potatoes, Goat cheese Oh my!!! Sarah Highly recommended this dish and she was spot on! Not sure how long the Fall menu will last so hurry! This restaurant is always spot on but today? Magnificent!

delivery from here seems to be a dependable choice!

Solid (mostly) breakfast restaurant with a focus on healthier options, and delivery this morning didn't disappoint! Basic but solid 2 over-medium eggs + thick buttered toast + fresh fruit bowl + potatoes while bf had the egg sandwich with gruyere + avocado + arugula + bacon. The juice (reddish/orange gradient one) was refreshing but not my favorite. No alcohol if you're planning to dine in and like mimosas. Doesn't matter to me as they have a great selection of unique juices. Haven't had them in a few years and am happy to report the quality seems to be just as good as I remember. Great delivery choice as nothing was forgotten, food was hot and fresh, and everything tasted great :)

Finally made it in and they were still busy at 3 on a Sunday but the line wasn't out the door. It's a very cute cafe. I love the art and decor sprinkled throughout with the yellow. Seats are quite limited so if you're coming with a larger group, keep that in mind. Drinks come out pretty quick. I ordered the ube latte and it was delicious. It was a bright purple color but they use a syrup which I like so it's not powdery. If you're not a coffee drinker like me, I highly recommend it (and you can get it with oat milk which a lot of places don't allow as an option when you order an ube). My partner got the black sesame latte and he liked it. The black sesame foam on top was good. Now I was skeptical about the sando but the chicken katsu was so delicious. The sauce on the sandwich is like a curry flavoring or a flavor like it. The chicken is made as you order. While it does take some time, it is so good. The toast was also toasted quite nicely so there's still a crunch when you bite into it. Definitely when I'm in Lakewood, we're making a stop in.

I went with that and ordered the chicken katsu sando. And my pup got a Pupcup! Everything was so good. I loved the sando and the hojicha latte tasted like earthy but almost chocolately. And the staff were so patient with the influx of our large group ordering all at once. I can't wait to come back and try something new again on my next visit.

I didn't have to wait long for my to-go even though they were busy. I didn't take a pic because I figured the takeout container isn't ideal plating.
