Avocado toast is loaded with avocado!
    Rachel E.

I came here for brunch, and it was just okay. We sat outside because the weather was nice, but there weren't a lot of other people outside, so getting a server was difficult. Our original server stopped by once but then was never seen again for our order, and we had to flag someone down to get a new server. It was a little confusing who our server actually was. We were able to order, and we did have some special customizations, and they got them mostly right. The food is okay, and we had a coupon. I think it is generally overpriced for what you get. I'm not sure I would return unless I had a coupon. I think if you're a brunch person you will enjoy this more. But there are more unique brunch places in the Valley that aren't chains that you could support as well.

We got on the list (via the app) a little to late and had to wait an hour and a half for a table at 11 am. We had an issue where I checked the app and we had about 5 min left in wait time, then the app said we weren't on the waitlist at all. We came to the host stand and they confirmed we weren't on the waitlist. I literally had been waiting 85 min at this point and almost got angry but thankfully they didn't miss a beat and apologized and at us right away. Our server took a long time to great us, but he too apologized for the wait. He did walk by a lot but didn't touch our table very often. That's ok though because he was around to flag down if we needed him. We ordered coffee and a Purple Haze. The Purple Haze was really good but more of a drink than a "juice" if that makes sense. I did not get even a hint of lavender. It was just a nice sweet lemonade. We started with the millionaires bacon. So good! Our breakfasts came out pretty quickly (thankfully because of all the other waiting we had to do here) and it was delicious. I highly recommend their waffle. It's excellent.

There was a 30 minute wait but I didn't care. I happened to already be in the area (16 minutes) away but it wasn't a congested time to travel on the highways. The hostess was very bubbly and took my name, and number. My 30 minutes did go by pretty quickly even though there were folks standing, and sitting outside underneath the covered area until their names or numbers were called. I only sat for a few more minutes before my Server Jordan walked over to greet me. I really don't know Why name badges are going extinct but a number of restaurants that I've been to in the recent months have the Employees badge-less. Maybe they're supposed to introduce their names to the people that they're serving but it doesn't seem to be working. Now about my order, I chose the New Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash this time included; Seared Steak, fresh spinach, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, diced red bell peppers, and house roasted onions in a potato hash, topped with topped with two cage-free eggs, any style, crumbles feta cheese, house pickled sweet peppers, roasted garlic aioli, and a drizzle of chimichurri sauce. $15.99 5/5 My first meal was rather colder so I had to send it back to the kitchen. My second plate was much better. This was a very hearty dish. I truly enjoyed every bite. I also ordered a Morning Meditation; Orange, Lemon, Turmeric, Organic Ginger, Agave Nectar, and Beet. $5. 79 5/5 This drink is a perfect concoction of sweet, tangy, and gingery. I will try this one again. All in All Everyone was friendly, worked well together, all were attentive, and very polite. I'll definitely return to this First Watch location. I loved the energetic nature of the staff. My experience and expectations were so great.

Love our first time here today. Coffee was strong and I loved it. I ordered the 2 for u. Half salad and half sandwich. Got the roast beef sandwich and the pecan salad. I love the salad very much and it was so good I was not able to start on the sandwich. My husband ordered The Works. He would've preferred grape jelly but they don't have any. He said he's never seen so much salad for a breakfast order. He ate everything but the salad. He also tried the drink Morning Meditation and loved it. There were 4 restrooms for male/female. And it didn't have a disposable toilet seat but it was clean. Service was great and super friendly. I wish they opened one in the southwest area.

We visited First Watch this past Sunday and overall very happy. We had two kinds of eggs benedict, tres leche French toast, and the summer granola as well as a couple of the juices. All the food was great! No issues at all. The space was very cute, our waitress was very nice, and when the bill comes I love the way each persons food was priced individually. We didn't ask for it to be that's just the way it comes which is great if you are having brunch with a bunch of friends. Only two small things. 1) the small brown boxy wood chairs are not comfortable. It's not comfortable on your butt and kinda feels like it's pushing your back forward. Luckily there are different kinds of chairs and booths but if you see those ask to be say at a different table. 2) this is more of a suggestion.... Stay open to at least 4pm-ish at least on the weekends. They currently close at 2:30pm and we saw a LOT of people come in and were turned away. On the weekends people want to do early and late brunches and you are also losing a lot of money closing so early.

We had a really great brunch experience. The avocado toast was fresh and generously topped with creamy avocado, served with perfectly cooked sunny-side-up eggs and a lemon wedge that added a nice bright touch. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The chilaquiles were flavorful with just the right amount of sauce, and the black beans and cheesy eggs made it a super satisfying dish. The pancakes were fluffy with melted butter on top, and the side of bacon was crispy and delicious -- classic comfort breakfast done right. Jennifer provided excellent service -- she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the wait time since it was pretty busy, but overall it was definitely worth it. I'd happily come back again!

Its been a couple of weeks since I've visited but I am now getting to the review. I have been anticipating First Watch to open as it's only 10-15 minutes from my place. Upon entering, the restaurant looked clean and had the rural lifestyle vibe. As it wasn't busy on a Tuesday morning I was quickly seated. I ordered the Farmhouse Hash for breakfast and have to say it was pretty good. The portions were reasonable for the price. I am happy to have a new restaurant near me and can't wait to go back.

We had friends in town and after doing some running around we decided to finally pop in and give First watch a try. We arrived late in their day around 1315 and we had to wait just about 5 mins. We were greeted right away and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Once we were seated our server came over right away and got us started. She was very friendly and attentive. We started with mimosas and they were pretty good. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything was cooked well. My French toast was cooked nicely and tasted good, everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely be returning.

Got to First Watch around 9am. Long line already. Waited 30 mins for party of 4. Place is nice, clean and smelled like breakfast. They have complimentary coffee while you wait which is a nice touch. We ordered the million dollar bacon, potatoes and a few other breakfast items. Not sure if it was because I was getting over being sick but the food was just okay to me. This is the reason for the 3 stars. Will have to go back when I'm better. Perhaps it'll taste better. While service was good, our server didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She wasn't rude or anything but she didn't smile or was very engaging.

This place does not do reservation. But it's very cute inside and very spacious. Immediately to your left when you walk into the restaurant it looks like they have a self serve coffee while you wait to be seated. Which is so convenient because you can get your coffee fixed while you wait. Not to mention they have my favorite coffee creamer!! We had started with self-serve coffee refills at our table, very much convenient if you wanted to drink as much coffee as you want. This is a recommendation please get the million dollar bacon! This is something that I wish I would've upgraded in my main dish.. My husband and I both ordered the same thing, though his was slightly different. He ended up getting a pancake that had granola and banana mixed inside. SO GOOD! Again, if we had ordered the million dollar bacon it would have made my dish so much better. That's why I brought it down to 4 stars- their bacon is alright.. Overall this place is doing very well for it being open for just a couple of weeks of maybe a month now. I'd like to come back to try their all-day lunch menu!

    Tres Leches French Toast

So excited to have First Watch open in Henderson on Stephanie! My boyfriend and I stopped by for breakfast and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. We ordered the Tres Leches French Toast with fresh strawberries. It's a great presentation but I was little disappointed with the strawberry sauce (overpowering with sweetness) and I expected the bread to be softer with the tres leches. However, the Market Hash was hearty and well-balanced, loaded with veggies and cooked just right. My boyfriend had the Million Dollar Bacon and loved it. He said it's sweet, smoky, and addictive :). I had the turkey sausages which were nicely cooked and flavorful. The Morning Meditation juice was refreshing and a great balance of oranges and beets. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming. Overall, a good first experience and a fantastic addition to the Henderson breakfast/brunch scene. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Came here during soft opening and here are the items we ordered: - smoked salmon Benedict: was good. Egg was nicely poached and the salmon gives the saltiness the dish needed. Salad on the side had a light vinaigrette to balance out the richness of the Benedict. - traditional: eggs (comes with cheese so if you don't want it, make sure you let the waiter know), bacon (your choice of protein), seasoned potatoes, and toast. - kale berry salad: daughter finished this. And a bacon that she grabbed from her brother. - morning meditation l: such a delicious healthy drink! - donut holes: bleh. But the compote was good. Waiter Manny was great. We would come back

Update: the take out took too long. We were going to eat in the car but gave up. Btw? We had taken our utensils to the car which by the way was parked directly in front of the door. The dogs-only-cats-are-gross manager came after us to get the forks back. Really. While we were sitting waiting for our food. We shifted to take out. We sat on the patio because we had one of our meowkids with us. (Buddie was secured inside a hard sided carrier.) I got a strong sense that the manager was a dog-only person The way she looked at Buddie was painful and she talked about keeping her away from the table because she posed a health risk. I've seen loose dogs at first watch and tiny ones on top of tables. I love the power bowl, guess I'll learn to make it myself at home.

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

She told us it came out quick, so not sure if that means microwaved or just a lot of patties ready to go. She was correct, they came out fast. Shredded lettuce, mayo and a thin slice of tomato with a small cup of pickles on the side. Honestly, even though I'm sure it was a pre-frozen surplus patty, they did it well. Cheese was melted, felt fresh not "heat lamp for hours" or microwaved--so they hid the process well if it was one of those things. It was better than a dry Quarter Pounder from McD's, for less money, about that same size. We asked about the 1.99 margarita and $3 shots/beer, and she said they were at the bar right outside of the cafe. I'll review that later. Two people, with drinks, getting out for less than 20 bucks for a better-than-fast-food burger that's certainly not as good as mid-level burger joints like Red Robin where the burger alone is 20 bucks, and the fast food burger is easily almost that much as well. Don't expect a mind blowing experience, but you are getting probably better than you'd expect for a 5.99 meal--It was OK, definitely not bad, but also definitely not great. I'll certainly come back for more, mid-gamble, in the future.

Almond croissant ($6.25, 4.5/5) - Nice crunch on the outside, topped with almond slices - Almond filling with just the right consistency. A little on the sweeter side, but worked out well with our coffee to balance it out. Overall, had a great time at Cafe Du Val and would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu!

Sorry, Matt Brady... there may be a cocktail of the day named Duckin' Delicious, but there's no…read moreduck on the menu. At least that name is apropos. Pink Duck Kitchen is a local Filipino-American fusion brunch restaurant that has maintained solid Yelp ratings and recently garnered a spot on the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Top 100 restaurants of 2025. Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. It wasn't as packed when we arrived as I was anticipating; I guess Sunday brunch invites a late-morning crowd though, since it started filling up. Music was top 40 stuff and not too loud. Really my only issue was the water not being ice cold. I've gotta come back to Pink Duck Kitchen since they have such a fun variety on their menu and they're one of the closest interesting restaurants to my side of town. If you live across town, it's actually drive-worthy for that lambwich alone.

We arrived at 11am, and while the vibe inside was lively and the decor was really cool (modern with Pink Duck vibes), we hit a bit of a snag right away. Despite seeing several empty tables, we were told there'd be about a 15-minute wait. Honestly, that was a little frustrating, especially when you're hungry and can clearly see open spots. We almost considered trying somewhere else, but decided to stick it out. And I'm so glad we did, because from the moment we were seated, the service was absolutely stellar! Our server, gave us great recommendations and made sure our drinks were always full. The rest of the staff we interacted with were equally friendly and efficient, they really turned the initial annoyance around. The fusion dishes here aren't just creative for creativity's sake; they're genuinely well-executed and thoughtfully balanced. $15.99 Fried Chicken & Ube Waffle - This was my dish, loved it. $16.99 Banana Nut Bread French Toast with Carmelized "Banana Cue" We went family style on this and I would order again. $16.99 Pork Belly Burger $15.99 Breakfast Burrito Everything felt fresh, vibrant, and celebrated both Filipino and American culinary traditions without either overpowering the other. The creativity in combining these flavors was executed well. I'd definitely visit Pink Duck again to sample more interesting dishes I saw on the menu. Mabuhay!
