Love this place but just recently came and was disappointed in the service. I had called a pick up order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Showed 25 minutes later and was told my order was still working. So I waited and after waiting 20 minutes I finally asked them to check my order and it turns out it had been ready and waiting at the table in front of me the entire time. Also one of the waitresses/ hostess picked up a pen from the jar labeled dirty pens and took it over to a table for them to use and they have no idea that the pen has been used and not properly cleaned. I will start with the positive points about this place. The employees were very friendly and I love the atmosphere. Parking is ample too, considering it is in a strip center. Now, onto how this place could be better. First, I want to point out that there are employee shortages in many places these days, I get it...it puts a strain on businesses, in that you have less people doing the duties and working twice as hard. However, it has to be better at this place. I had checked us in online before arriving to the restaurant. When we got there and I told the hostess our name, she verified our online check-in and said it would be about 30 minutes. Fair enough, considering the restaurant was packed. We observed a table that had previous customers was not being tended to for cleaning to prepare for the next customers. Again, this was probably due staffing shortages. Still though, someone could've stepped up to get it cleaned. We didn't get seated until about an hour after we got there...twice as long as we were told. Our server was really friendly, but was slow. I'm all about enjoying myself out with my family, but customers need to be checked on periodically. It's part of working in the restaurant business and should be run like a well-oiled machine. It took longer than it should have to get our food and it was cold. I was not going to send it back though since who knows how long it could've taken again to get it. This place has a lot of potential with improved management practices and ample staff. We may give it another try eventually. read more

I really enjoy the First Watch Chain and have eaten at several nationwide. Georgetown location is horrible in comparison (food and service). I've eaten at Georgetown 4 different times hoping the next experience would get better, but instead it had gotten worse. Last time, the eggs were over cooked/rubbery and Turkey sausage was cold on the inside. I was 1 of 2 people in the restaurant and it took 30 minutes to get my food. Staff is not friendly. read more

I came in this past weekend , horrible service and cold food. I wasn't able to catch my servers name but she had brown hair with blonde streaks in the front , she had an attitude like she didn't even want to be there. The food took about 30-40 minutes, which would have been fine but she didn't even disclose the wait time to me and by the time the food got to me it was ice cold and didn't even taste fresh. Not a bad breakfast. Limited options and not a breakfast that really fills you up. They recently switched from real half and half to those annoying fake creams on the table. The eggs Benedict is good. The avocado toast is a rip off. The power bowl sounds good and tastes good at first but after I ate it all I felt sick. No corned beef hash on the menu. read more

This was a TERRIBLE experience and food did not have the right ingredients on it. When we got seated, my three-year-old cut his leg on a piece of broken glass that was there from the previous table. The wait staff did not clean it all up before we sat down. Once we got that situation handled, we ordered drinks and it took ten minutes to get them. Finally ordered food and it did not have all the ingredients on it that was stated on the menu. My husband asked for extra avocado and never received it. We have loved the other locations but this one does not have it together. They are in bad need of better training for their staff. read more

The first and only time I've dined in at First Watch was in Wisconsin so I was pretty excited and looking forward to eating at the Georgetown location. I went there this morning and was told it would be a half hour wait. After waiting for 40 minutes, I was told it would be another 20 minutes. When I spoke with the manager, he informed me that people who have the app have first priority basically bumping the people who are actually waiting patiently to be seated. It was a complete choas. We walked out and ate somewhere else where we were seated after 10 minutes. I understand one has to wait to be seated especially when it's a new restaurant but the staff should have a better idea on the actual wait times and accommodate those who are physically their waiting patiently. Love first watch but ate in today and service was awful. My fiancé ordered the traditional breakfast that consists of the following: eggs in your choice of style, toast, potatoes, and meat. She said "no meat" and it was still put on her plate. She is not allowed to have meat due to religious reasons. The waitress, Nat, brought back a plate with bacon on it. We didn't even specify a meat so it doesn't even make sense to be given something we never selected. My meal was suppose to come with potatoes, Nat came back and said she forgot then brought us a side of potatoes...that we were charged for. It was suppose to be a part of the meal. We brought it up with her and she made it clear that she was aware but did not bring it up to her management till we brought it up to her. read more

The food is really good - but the 'waiting-on-food' times have been not so good since they opened (yes, we were customers from the beginning). When they reopened after COVID shutdowns last year, they offered Curb Side Service - we'd order and they'd bring our bagged orders to the vehicle (even before they spent $$$ on the CURB SIDE signs. Today, however, I sat in the designated CURB SIDE area for 25 minutes and, no lie, 11 phone call attempts before I walked around from the side of the building to the front door and was met by the host stating "oh, we don't bring the food to your car". He went back to the kitchen (where the staff seems to have always hung out between order shuttles to tables) and......... ??? I looked around, noticing a table to my left side and there were 2 bags with my name on them. I picked them up, made the motion that I found them to the kitchen-huddling staff, and left. Food was cold, having sat there for nearly 30 minutes. I like the menu. I like the concept. I will no longer tolerate less than mediocre service that I'm paying for (20% tip included because we want to help out). The food is not exclusive to this place. Seems they've never actually gotten it all together since (their) Week One of business. Probably not spending another $80+ for a family (of 4) brunch. I'm sure a dozen other customers are waiting to take our place, just happy knowing my money will be spent in places who actually care about GREAT SERVICE...and yes, with minimum 20% tips. SHORT STAFF translates into wait times, I get it....but it's always been long wait times with this management. Walk in around noon on a holiday sure I expect it to be busy, there's a couple in front of us waiting to get their names on the waiting list or to be seated, as the line gradually gets bigger to the lack of service, the hostess steps away and some new group of young kids jump to the front of the line, the hostess pays no mind to the fact they jumped in front of 10 people and seats them immediately, this place has officially lost my business and I hope this a good tool to go by that the service at First Watch, Georgetown Tx is pitiful. read more

I really want to like this place more, it's right by my house. I will say the staff has always been super friendly but the consistency of the food just isn't there. One day the waffle is delicious, the next time it's soggy, one time the hash is perfect, the next time it's burnt to a crisp. The food always takes a while, when it's really busy it takes a looong while. I always bring a jacket too, I haven't been once when it wasn't freezing inside. read more

I would like to start off by saying this was my first time going to this restaurant after working a long 12 hr shift at the hospital for both myself and my spouse who's an EMT, we decided to give this place a try mid Thursday morning. While still in uniform we both walked in with no one to greet us, the dinning area was not full and the waitress we did catch eye to was wiping down a clean table we stood in the front for about 7 mins skimming over the menu on the window and still hadn't been seated or spoken to, after some time we decided to leave and while approaching our vehicle we seen a women go I and was immediately greeted and seated. What a bummer this place is. The hostess sat me at the bar, and nobody came to wait on me. I saw servers standing around talking to each other and a few walked by and looked right at me without saying anything. After about 10 minutes I asked one if I could get some service and she said she'd get someone to wait on me. Then she went and fiddled with some stuff on empty tables, then stopped to talk to one of the other servers. She never sent anyone to wait on me, so I got up and left. My family and I came in over the weekend and service was ridiculous. We stood at the front waiting to be acknowledged by literally anyone who worked there for almost 10 minutes before my husband finally walked over to the busser, who had come to the front 3x without even a hello, and asked if we needed to seat ourselves. To paint the picture for you, I am 36 weeks pregnant, we have a 16 month old baby, a 9 year old and my son is waiting in the front as the busser and other servers continue to walk past us without so much as a hello. How is that acceptable service? The busser grabbed a server and then she came over to us, didn't acknowledge or apologize that we had been waiting, and just acted cheery and pretended as if nothing happened. Not sure if this is normal behavior for her however I managed a restaurant for 3 years and that's completely unacceptable. While we were waiting there was another woman that had been standing there and I asked if she had been acknowledged yet and she said yes but they hadn't been back in awhile and she's pretty surprised no one has come to say hi or seat us. The restaurant was busy but was not slammed by any means and there were plenty of servers walking around and passing by the front so this is ridiculous. To top it off, we were sat in the very back corner by the kitchen so I could see and hear servers just messing around chatting about their personal lives. That wouldn't bother me one bit had we not been waiting for almost 10 minutes without being acknowledged. You're getting paid to do a job, so do it and do it well. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the server that we did end up getting was so sweet and she was on it. She had purple and teal hair that was in braids and a tattoo on her arm. I can't remember her name but she was really sweet. I've been to other First Watches and enjoyed the food a little more there vs this one in Georgetown. I would definitely not recommend coming here if you're expecting spectacular service however food is decent. read more

Why offer curbside if you don't answer your phone for customers to let you know they are here to pick up the order? 3 employees standing at the front talking to each other yet the phone cannot be answered. Order placed online... curbside for a reason, given a time that order will be ready. Walked in to let them know we were here after trying to reach them on the phone for 15 minutes after scheduled time, was told the order wasn't ready. Went back to car, waited longer. Went back in, lady started taking to another employee who walked back and grabbed a bag. We waited 30 minutes AFTER the scheduled time for things to be available and we didn't even get our full order. Asked for no mushrooms, looks like we got extra. Seems this place goes out of their way to do things wrong. This isn't the first horrible experience we have had here, but it will definitely be the last. read more

What a great addition to Georgetown. There is a big selection on the menu - just enough so you don't get overwhelmed. Healthy choices and savory ones too! I had french toast and omelet with the works. My husband had the breakfast tacos and there was not a piece left. Coffee is fresh and I like the assorted creamers. Staff are very friendly and kept checking in on us. Next time I will try the frittata (comes with a light side salad). Yummy!!! read more

This being my first time at this restaurant I was obviously skeptical for many reason but let me tell you, this is now one of my favorite places to eat. I had the classic eggs Benedict and it was AMAZING! I recommend trying this place at least once. The whole menu was so hard to choose from. It's unfortunate because the food is good, however the wait time is NEVER close to accurate and then once you do get seated service is extremely slow as well. It's really disappointing when I "get in line" 20 minutes before getting to the restaurant, I get a message that the wait is 30-45 minutes, then once at the restaurant I get told "oh you just checked in" and you still have an hour wait. We came in on a Sunday, at 9:30. The wait time we were given was 35-40 minutes. Ok, no problem. However, after an hour had passed, we finally asked where we were on the list. We were 16th in line! Come to find out, as people check in online, walk in's are pushed further down the line. This policy was not told to us when we put our names down. Had we been informed, we would not have stayed. Disgusted, we pulled our names from the list and left. Had we stayed, it would have been at least another hour. If not more. Very very poorly organized. We have had nothing but issues with all of the First Watches out in this area. We will most definitely not be returning. read more
