Do not come here if you want don't want to spend your entire morning waiting for your food. We checked in at 9:54am said it would be 15 min wait. Was seated at 10:25am, took our order by 10:35 and we are currently still waiting for our food it's 11:16am as I am writing this. I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this is the second time we have been here and both times were like this. My husband and I visited the First Watch in Georgetown, TX for breakfast this morning and took seats at the bar. There are only 11 seats at the bar and when we arrived, 8 people were seated at the bar. The bartender cleared off our spot, gave us menus and never came back. Didn't ask us if we needed anything to drink or nothing. And we weren't the only ones who were treated like this because I was watching the whole time. We sat there for 10 minutes and left. We went straight to Huddle House in Wahlberg and was immediately seated and served by Taryn. While she was clearing our booth she took our drink orders, left us with menus and came back within 2-3 minutes for our order. All told, we were in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. Excellent service! First Watch in Georgetown should go to Huddle House and take lessons from Taryn on customer service. read more

We've been twice and the only good thing I say is they are consistent; unfortunately consistently terrible. Both times, almost a year apart (giving theme the benefit of the doubt the first time), the wait was long, once finally seated our food took over an hour to get so kitchen was clearly slow; on top of that our server didn't make it any better by only checking in with us once during that time. I had to go to the bar to get beverage (non-alcoholic) refills. We had 2 kids so that only fueled the frustration. The taste of the food was decent but we will never return. I won't recommend to anyone. This is a clear reflection of poor management and/or ownership (have no idea if these are franchises). Stay away. read more

First off when you tell someone when you check in it will be a 10 minute wait and it takes almost 45 minutes to get seated it sets your expectations for the meal. I don't mind waiting if you know it will take 45 minutes but don't lie to me. What made it worse is there were at least 4 tables available for last 15 minutes and was told they weren't seating anyone because the kitchen was backed up. Not sure why waiting outside is different that waiting at the table. Then when they started seating they seated people that came in after us. It doesn't matter the food after that. This is the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. They need to get their act together. read more

This restaurant is a strong 4 star restaurant. I think it is a nice spot for a sunday brunch. The menu i think can be expanded to have more options overall and that will take it to the next level to be a 5 star restaurant. The vibes and energy of the building is great. The seating is well. They require a mask upon entrance. The oatmeal is the bomb dot com. The fresh fruit and the muffin were perfect. I wouldnt get the salmon eggs Benedict again. The only reason we're giving them a star is because of the food, the food saved our experience. Service wise it was definitely a miss, we waited over 12 minutes for a server to come greet us. After a while someone came out and said the server got double sat? But why seat them extra tables if they had us and another couple next to us still waiting on them to serve us. That server who told us that ended up taking our orders. Then 20 minutes later the person who was supposed to be our server she came outside and asked if we wanted to place orders with them um no? And she just stormed inside. Waited for our food for about 30-40 minutes. I frequent at the cedar park location and figured it would've been the same here in Georgetown but I was definitely wrong. If I ever want to go again it will be to the cedar park location. read more

Went on Saturday. Once we placed our order we noticed others that sat after us got there food. Waitress came by and said they were finishing up on the béarnaise sauce for the eggs Benedict (boyfriends meal) I ordered just the scrambled egg plate. Food was cold the sauce the eggs only thing hot were the potatoes. Sent it back eggs came back hot but the potatoes were Luke warm and bacon same. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Doubtful I will be back. They did comp the meal which was good customer service. read more

This is my first trip to a First Watch location. This was on Sunday morning so it's pretty busy however the nice lady at the door took my name and number and told me I'd receive a text in 20-30 minutes. 15 minutes later to were sitting at our table then very quickly our drink order was taken. The place was bustling with employees and hungry patrons. Shortly thereafter our drinks arrived and our order was taken. I ordered two regular pancakes with a side of their Million Dollar bacon. My wife ordered a blubbery pancake. A shot time later our food arrived. The bacon was AWESOME! The pancakes were dense but delicious. The syrup was just Okay! Nothing special there. A tad weak on the amount of butter but the nice lady supplied me with more on request. All together my experience was positive and I'll surly try them again. read more

Complete chaos on a Sunday morning. Host staff rude and confused. Upon entrance I approached the young woman at the cash register who offered no verbal response to my greeting, and just pointed in the direction of the host desk surrounded by anxious looking customers. As I was explaining we were listed on the First Watch App wait list the hostess talked over me to tell me it would be an hour wait. I asked her to please listen to what I was saying. After she listened, she announced she could seat us immediately. We stood at the desk for 15 minutes when a man came by to seat us. Server was nice and clearly frustrated. After we ordered, 50 minutes passed before our food arrived. Server returned twice to tell us the kitchen was not staffed well. Chickichanga was delicious. Pancakes were dry and heavy. Left a big tip to give the server a chance to find another job at a restaurant that cares enough about its employees and customers to actually manage their operations. Upon exiting the woman who was so rude upon arrival said zero words during the transaction. Why would we return to a place with rude employees, mediocre food, and a restaurant in chaos.... the answer is- we would not. read more

Have been to the Georgetown location a few times and although the food is good, be patient, the service can be slow. One big negative, bring a jacket. It's very cold inside and the vents are blowing on you. Every patron is wearing a jacket, even the kids, to eat their food. I don't like eating a meal in my jacket. And you'll have to eat fast because your meal will be cold in about 2 minutes. We asked a couple workers if they could turn the heat up or at least turn the air off, but no luck. I'd like to preface this by saying this is the only review I've ever posted. It would be in your best interest to go to another First Watch location. I had to wait for a longer than projected wait-time, and I'm still waiting for my food (ordered 40 minutes ago). Our server also has not come back to our table for the past 40 minutes to ask for any refills, etc. 45 minutes later we finally got our food. I've been to multiple first watches, multiple times, and our portions were noticeably small. One dish also did not have the modifications that were requested. Please don't waste your time, just make the longer trip to Cedar Park. We will not be back to Georgetown. read more

I recently went in to eat lunch. I asked to be seated at a booth or half booth. I was directed to the bar - I think because I was by myself. There were 7 booths or half booths open at this time and 3 groups of people waiting to be seated. I asked to speak to the manager, who just stood there and listened. Stopped in over the weekend before a day of errands and the wait was only about 15-20 minutes (which compared to other brunch spots in the area, that isn't a bad wait). I like that you receive a mini champagne bottle for your mimosa, though I'd like maybe a bit less orange juice to mix it with in the glass. It's purely personal preference, but I'm a champagne type of girl. We shared their avocado toast, which came with two eggs. It was pretty good, especially because of the thicker bread to balance out the avocado and egg yolk. I think a bit more salt on the avocado would escalate the meal to another level. I had the BLT Eggs Benedict, which I thought was tasty. It's on a longer piece of bread, which was perfectly crunchy, but once again the salt content was low. Adding some simple salt and pepper, or even garlic salt, could take these meals to the next level. It's a great spot for the area and I'm quite sure we'll try it again soon! read more

After an enthusiastic recommendation from my sister, my family and I finally stopped in last Monday to try First Watch. The first thing we noticed was the calm fresh aesthetic of the restaurant itself. As my teenager said "it feels like a place where you want to be." The second highlight of the adventure was our server Leanne. She was personable, kind, and had a great sense of humor. Ok, now on to the food... as it was our first time, and our teenager has a bottomless pit for a stomach, we tried many things. Every single thing was so GOOD! The million dollar bacon is especially worthy of mention . Also, though a seasonal pick, I highly recommend the pumpkin pancake! If you just want coffee and a quick bite, the donut holes are truly phenomenal and not your run-of-the-mill donuts. My sister told us we must try the coffee, so we did. I had to give the coffee it's own paragraph. We drank a carafe of coffee each! What's more, I tend to drink coffee with my cream (wink wink), but I drank it black because they did not have heavy cream, and it was so smooth! My son detests coffee and he tried mine black and stated he would get some next visit. Our visit was so enjoyable that toward the end we began chatting with the shift manager. My son expressed interest in working there and she kindly gave her time to talk to him and even introduced us all to the general manager.
