I have never had eggs, Benedict on ciabatta, but it was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and attentive. We waited probably 30 min for a table for two, but we had drinks within two minutes of sitting, ordered less than five minutes later, and had food around 15 minutes later. Food was really good, we got food from the seasonal specials and were not disappointed. I had a breakfast sandwich and my partner had a breakfast hash. The grits were a little lackluster but that's not enough to kill the hype I felt for this place. The service was excellent despite it being virtually standing room only. This place was packed to the nines and I still managed to get seated. Our server Nate, was amazing, attentive yet not bothersome. Their coffee was excellent, I bought a bag of whole beans so I could grind it up for my morning coffee at home. And their juice, despite being all natural was extremely good, I recommend the pomegranate one. Juices that are labeled "all natural" usually means nasty and expensive, not the case here. There are two negatives in my opinion, but they're pretty typical for places that are high quality, they're a little pricey, around $50 for two people, and the wait has always been long on the weekends..unless you go early. We like to get there around 8:30am on Sunday, that seems to be the best time, though admittedly we haven't tried getting there in the afternoon, so you may get lucky and you can not make reservations, which sucks but what are you going to do? We do not have a First Watch at home. We knew nothing about the place except it came highly recommended. The restaurant was clean and homey. I can't say how much we enjoyed the food. I think I got there only 40 minutes before closing, but luckily their service is super fast and friendly and it wasn't at all an issue. I got the trifecta with eggs over easy, chicken sausage and a big ol' pancake. The portions are sizable, but somehow I still managing to join the clean plate club, which for me is a rarity. Let me tell you, I've been dreaming of that freakin pancake since I ate there. The texture was perfect. It was fluffy but not thick, spongy enough to take in syrup but not fall apart, and just had a great flavor. I'd love to steal the recipe. Sausage was good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The inside isn't as typical 'diner' like as I would prefer, but it's clean and not crowded, which is nice. Servers were all super friendly, and I felt really welcome. Thanks for the great meal!
