I enjoyed the ambience and food quality. Service was friendly and quick. The feel is like a fancy brunch place that has been tamed down to mass consumers. I think the real issue is what I Wanted was a greasy spoon diner. read more

I visit this location frequently for the Morning Meditation, which is made PERFECT by Dasia. One of the servers should not be serving. Working in the restaurant industry, hygiene is extremely important. I have to get my food to go if the woman with black teeth is on shift, I always lose my appetite and she's rude on top of it all. The Manager Kim is a sweetheart & aims for customer satisfaction. read more

Service is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and the bacon is THE BEST. Great place for brunch with friends and also good for families with kids. Everyone I was with loved their meals too. read more

Food was extremely expensive A cup of coffee is almost 4.00 They brought one breakfast entree out and then the second one later We had two cups of coffee, vegetable skillet and a vegetable omelette No meats on either I had them hold the cheese on mine It was $34.00 plus tip This was our first time there. read more

The food was Fabulous! I had eaten at another First Watch a year ago and was not really impressed, but the menu has improved greatly. The food was cooked to perfection! Not over cooked or undercooked and with perfect seasonings! Even the potatoes were masterpieces!! Rosalia was perfect server, offering me extra time for the massive menu and suggestions to avoid the extra calories! Ahhh the best start of my day!! Thank You I will be back!!! read more

Service is disappointing. Almost made my family and I feel unwelcome. Waitress put order in wrong. Received food after 30+ minutes. Cold food, cold service terrible experience. Didn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience. read more

I was under the impression this was a novelty cafe but it's a franchise. Nevertheless, the food is delicious. My pancakes taste home cooked. The setting is sort of rustic. It's beautiful inside and the staff welcoming. My pancakes were delicious. The warm syrup a plus. I didn't need much syrup. The lemon ricotta topping and strawberries suffice. I will definitely be back with company. read more

Service and food is out of this world. Highly recommended the bacon cooked to perfection!!!

We went on a Sunday around noon. Made a reservation and waited about 15 minutes to be seated which wasn't terrible. We ordered - one of the items listed on the board as a special wasn't available which was a bit disappointing, but not the worst. It was a specialty bacon and so we just ordered regular bacon, charged the same price as the specialty one which seemed odd. We ordered our food and waited close to an hour! Way too long for fairly basic breakfast food. When the food did finally come out my eggs benedict were a disaster. I cut into the egg and it was cooked all the way through, like a hard boiled egg. The sauce was cold and congealed a little. I told our server about the issue and told him don't take it away, I'm eating it because we've been waiting forever and I'm hungry, but this isn't what eggs benedict should be. I will say our server was very nice and apologetic. He didn't charge us for my dish. However, he also didn't stop by at any point in the almost hour it took to get our food to see how we were doing or mention something like "I know you've been waiting for awhile, let me check on things." Overall it was just one of the worst food experiences I've had, and I'm pretty patient. I won't be back. read more

It's hit and miss, and the half dozen times I've gone to first watch 80% of the time I've had a very good meal. The last time I went I was told that it would be an hour wait to be seated since some of cook staff called out that was the last time I went. read more

Definitely a 3 star / middle of the road experience in terms of a dining experience. On the good side ... using the first watch app allows you to get on the list prior to arriving. That's a nice feature. On the down side ... more than 10 people waiting to be seated with at least 6 empty tables within view. No sense of urgency to clear tables and get people seated. This continued after my group was seated. On the good side ... a round table is great for a group to facilitate easy conversation and sharing of water / coffee carafes, etc On the down side ... our food (group of 5) did not come out together causing people to wait as their food got cold so we could eat together. "Toast" was brought out as a slice of cold bread on a plate. The "million dollar bacon" which absolutely kicked ass at the Villanova location wasn't very good at this location. On the good side ... the pumpkin pancake and waffles got very high marks. read more

Party of one gets overlooked - LISTEN!!! Just because someone is by him/herself doesn't mean the seating importance is different. Yeah, yeah you were busy, folks checked in online blah blah blah. If I hadn't checked back in after 40 MINUTES, you wouldn't have known I existed. I get the "oh yeah there you are!" as you look at the electronic list. No bueno! Also, the service was slooooooow. It took 15 minutes before anyone approached my table and dude was RUDE!!! And when I gave it right back to him, he piped down and was oh so accommodating. The food? Meh Million dollar bacon was undercooked and tasted like dollar bacon. Lemon whatever it's called pancakes were just pancakes with some yellow and bland pudding goo with sad looking strawberries stirred into it. That's all I ordered to the tune of $21. What a waste. Can't say I'm impressed with this place - even after it came highly recommended. Thank goodness it was a leisurely day for me and I didn't have plans... Should have just gone to iHop if this is what is the norm. And I would have spent way less. read more

Great breakfast spot. Did pick up food was hot and good. Reasonably priced and they're following Covid protocol

This could be a really great brunch spot. Their menu has something for everyone and the two dishes I've had have been well-done but they issues that prevent them from being a staple. It always feels chaotic when in the restaurant, one two occasions I've received dirty drinking glasses, water pitchers, and silverware. I recommend ordering takeout and eating at home. read more

Nice little restaurant serving breakfast and lunch only. The food is always fresh and hot. When you order coffee , they give you a whole pot enough for about four refills. When you get pancakes the syrup is heated. These little details is what makes the place such a pleasant place to eat. The portions are very generous they even have freshly squeezed juice drinks. I hadn't heard of this place...hubs decided we should pop in on our way home from my parents the night before. Thinking I was going straight home, I was practically in pajamas and honestly not fit for public viewing. But who am I to stand between a man and his omelette? Food was really good- I could now write a book called "Avocado Toast Around the World" and this was one of the better iterations. Hubs like his omelette. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable, too. read more

My mother and I love breakfast food so much but there are very limited options in the area. We've been to turning point a few times but it's gone very downhill and the food is not how it used to be. We stopped by first watch as we heard many great things about it and had errands to run in the area. Service was fantastic and the decor in the cafe was beautiful! Very charming and clean. They have a very extensive menu ranging from breakfast, brunch, lunch, and even combo meals. I tried the vanilla chai latte pancakes and they were probably some of the best pancakes I've had out at a restaurant. Delicious pancakes with fresh fruit and very fluffy pancakes! My mom got Floridian French toast and it was loaded with fresh fruit and it was HUGE! Party of four Sunday 11:30 am eating breakfast. Social distance tables, masks and gloves on the employees. Atmosphere nice, rustic modern. Service had issues, not enough associates and no manager in sight. Had a long delay to get coffee, water, the basics that should always be right. Service was rushed and inattentive. My place setting - my spoon was dirty, ugh! Food was good but a little pricy. Price for two $52.26 plus tip! Possibly worth a second try but service and attention to detail must be greatly improved for the price. read more

So disappointed. We eat at First Watch in Ohio all the time. First time at the Audubon location. Waitress came over just as we were seated, asked about drinks and if we were ready to order. We weren't. Less than a minute later she asked again. Hadn't even seen both sides of the menu. The cold brewed iced coffee was 3/4 milk. I ordered their rustic frittata and asked for the kale to be replaced with spinach. Instead the mixed green salad was replaced. I sent it back. The eggs were now made properly but the salad was raw spinach not even dressed. I believe this was a waitress error not the kitchen as she served food without setup1s and coffee without cream. Overall diappointed. read more

First Watch was such an excellent discovery when we moved here 3 months ago. After a dozen visits, the food is still great...sometimes...and I have received something I didn't order several times...but I love their menu. I DON'T love how the attitudes of the staff have changed. I was told the restaurant wasn't very big so they didn't need more help yet in a half empty place at noon, the same person who was taking cash, handling the silverware and seating folks, answered the phone for a takeout order while we continued to stand there. We waited a long time for food that was undercooked. What a disappointment! Our wonderful discovery has steadily declined. Other locations don't have the same issues. Why would I spend my money where I haven't been made to feel welcome and most of the staff seemed uninterested in our needs? read more

Laura W is probably MVP of this location. My gf and I went to breakfast here, heard good things, bbt not about service. Laura W smashed that completely with prompt and professional service, on top f taking care of an entire section. Looking around other tables are happy, smiling, drinks in hand waiting for good or receiving it now. Our food was great! Shoutout to the egg cook. I've literally been hundred of places n they were damn good eggs. Biscuits n turkey gravy - A plus. Coffee - A plus Service - A PLUS @first watch - take a minute and recognize who keeps the lights on for you, I'll def be back based on this first impression. I thought the food was really good. And the delivery was really quick. The fact that they had turkey products was also a plus.

I'm really sad to write this review, since the issues I experienced are so easy to avoid. I called in a pickup order this morning and experienced several issues. I'm back in the area visiting from out of town and wow, judging from the service here, PA has changed! 1) The wait time given was 25-35min. I arrived at 30min and it seemed like the food had been sitting for a long time. It was very cold. 2) We had several items in the order and one of them, the ham and cheese omelette, was so over cooked it was inedible. 3) I asked for "two iced coffees - black" when I placed the phone order. When I got back to where I'm staying, I realized that they had given me two coffees the color of ice cream, it had so much sugar and cream in them! 4) When I called to ask them for a refund for the above, they did not pick up the phone for an hour. I tried calling 5 times. On the fifth time, they finally picked up and the person I spoke with was not understanding and when I asked to reverse the charges for the inedible food and drink, she said we could come back and get replacements. We were an hour away! She then said that we could call back after 2:30pm to talk with someone but that too, just rang and rang. 5) Finally, they do not have hot sauce to go. You went an entire pandemic and no one asked for hot sauce to go? It's a breakfast place. Hot sauce goes on eggs. So, in summary, check your order before you leave since it's unlikely anyone is willing to help you and your hungry family once you leave. If you're a fan of bland food and 800 calorie coffee, this is the place for you. read more

This place is doing it right! Perfectly cooked eggs Benedict florentine with a light lemony hollendaise that doesn't break the bank calorie wise. Heard good things about the other locations so we were excited to try this one for a late breakfast. Had a long wait which isn't a big deal, but seemed really odd since there were empty tables everywhere. Can only assume they were understaffed because they kept running out of silverware and no one was bussing tables. I ordered the Turkey club (had a different name). Ingredients were fresh enough but noticed right away that it didn't have avocado like it was supposed to. It also wasn't toasted which was unfortunate. The odd part was that it had a very noticeable sweetness I couldn't quite place. Then when eating the second half I realized what it was. It had freaking chocolate chips on it. Trust me when I tell you "hold the avocado but extra chocolate chips" are not words I'd ever utter when ordering a club sandwhich. read more

We gave them 3 times to get it right. Overpriced breakfast. The kitchen is always "behind" and never gets out orders right. They also have you wait for your food so long when it does come out it is cold and over done. So many other mom and pop diners for a much better experience. read more

Checked out a new breakfast place this morning and boy did we enjoy it! We arrived on a Sunday morning around 9am and the place was packed. We had about a 10 minute wait and the nice thing was that they provided free self-serve coffee while you waited. We were seated within the wait time given and our waitress quickly came over to greet us and take our drink orders. So many delicious sounding items on the menu but my wife went with the Farmhouse Hash while I went with the Floridian French Toast. My two boys had pancakes (one Lemon Ricotta and the other chocolate chip). We should have ordered off the kids menu for our littler one as the regular size pancakes cover an entire plate and there's two of them. Everything was so fresh and delicious but it was a lot of food. I was done eating for the day after this meal. We also got their million dollar bacon which I could have eaten all day!! They provided a carafe of coffee at our table so we could easily refill our coffee whenever we wanted. Both of my boys enjoyed their hot chocolate with whip cream and my wife also got the Morning Meditation Fresh Juice, which was a concoction of orange, lemon, ginger, beet, and agave nectar. Very refreshing!! Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfast here but it was definitely a pricey breakfast. For the four of us with tip, we hit the $100 mark. I would like to see smaller portion sizes with smaller prices to go along with that. We will definitely be back, but given the prices, it's not a place we will frequent often. read more

I stopped in for lunch on Friday afternoon. The hostess was friendly and I was seated quickly. The first thing I noticed was that the place was clean and it was decorated sharply. My waitress was polite but not friendly. It seemed as if she had better things to do. It took a bit for my food to come out. When it did, the waitress placed it in front of me and left without a word. I had ordered the Farmhouse Hash with eggs over-easy. The food was decent but the potatoes were somewhat burned which was disappointing. Also, I didn't receive the salsa the menu had said would accompany the meal. I would have mentioned it to the waitress but she didn't come back until I was almost finished to drop off the check. I will give this place another try at some point but I must say I was terribly impressed with the food or service on my first visit. read more
