I have had two experiences at Electric Supply, both of which were pretty dismal. The first time I…read morewalked in holding a light bulb from a chandelier that I had inherited with my house. The man - I will not use the term "gentleman", as he was not one - at the desk proceeded to make me feel very foolish for knowing nothing about the light and then gave instruction to me on how to best put my 3-year old in the car. When I got home, I realized he had given me the wrong lights. The second time I had the pleasure of working with a lady who was light years removed from her coworker In terms of social skills, but who sent me home with the wrong wattage of bulb, despite having written the receipt correctly. It was silly of me not to have double checked after my first experience, I will admit, but nonetheless, I won't be back. Supporting local business is important, but I stop short of supporting poor customer service.

The woman that answered the phone said she'd call the electrician and get back to me. Twenty minutes later she called and said "he dropped the ball". Yes, he certainly did. It sure makes you wonder about the legitimacy of all of the 5-star reviews he has (mostly from Yelpers with only a few reviews).
