I have been going here for about 2 years and I'm sad to say that after yesterday I will not be going back. I am still giving 3 stars because Tracia is wonderful and I recommend her if you do choose to go here. Yesterday I had an appointment with Tina at 1pm. I made this appointment 3 weeks prior at my last appointment with Tracia. Tracia was not available and I've heard wonderful things about Tina so I was okay with temporarily switching nail techs. I get there and they ask if it's okay that they move me to someone else due to overbooking Tina. I ask who and they say Becky, and I say absolutely not (I've had Becky on two other occasions and neither were pleasant). They say how about Kim and I decide to give her a try since I've never had her before. Kim was nice on approach but we did not speak during the service (which is fine, I don't need small talk). I get basic gel nails, one color, nothing fancy, and asked her to reshape my nails so they were all round. She maybe spent a total of 10 minutes on my nails. She barely filed them, they are all different lengths, and barely put any polish on my nails. There are dents, a few bubble holes, and the polish doesn't go all the way to the cuticle on a few of them. Her gel polish heat lamp thing that I had to put my hands in either had hair in it or a spider web, not really sure but either way it had not been cleaned in quite some time. It's not the worst nail job I've ever experienced, but not even close to how good Tracia normally does. I didn't complain and I still left a decent tip, but not as much as I normally would. Their scheduling is a mess and most of the nail techs aren't great, some even rude. There was a time when I showed up for a nail appt and Tracia was unexpectedly not able to be there, and they acted like "oh, well she's not here so.. you can go with Becky.." I make appointments with specific people for a reason. If for some reason that appointment is not going to be as It was made, maybe call me and let me know?? read more

I have had excellent service both with Jen, my nail tech and with Cecelia for a facial and brow tint. Jen does my nails and pedicure every time and she does a fantastic job every time! I have had three facials and have had my brows shaped and tinted twice now with Cecelia. She is fabulous! My face has never looked or felt so good as it does now! My brow are absolutely perfect!! I've been getting my nails done for several years now! I went in today for a full set of acrylic nails, I arrived at 11:25 and my appointment wasn't until 11:45 I knew I was early so I waited until my booked time! 12 o'clock came around I asked how much longer she said about 10 minutes and then an hour and a half rolls by I finally sit in the chair to get my nails started! The guy that did my nails was very ruff, cut my fingers and wouldn't listen to me when I told him I had a recent injury on my finger/finger nail!! He told me that it looked perfectly fine and continued to put the nail on! I used to go to this salon a lot but couldn't afford nails for a while. I went back today for an appointment. All I asked for was pink and white ombré nails. No special shaping nothing extra. When booking online it says this service is 48$. And I understand maybe ombré is an extra charge. But my total came out to 69.00$ without even including a tip. I feel scammed especially since my nails did not turn out ombré at all. The shape was okay and they weren't lumpy. But I was so disappointed to pay that much for something I didn't get. read more

I am beyond fuming. Both at myself and the person who did my toe nails. The Guy was very friendly and nice. He Did my nails, I paid, and got to my car to look at them. I didn't think I had to examine them before paying considering I only asked for a solid white pedicure. BOY WAS I FUCKING WRONG. I should have checked before even paying. Half assed paint job, smeared on my toes, he cut me with his clippers and filed all my nails unevenly. My one big toe is round? Idk whyAnd the other big toe squared. Do not go here! I don't normally leave reviews, good or bad. But I had two bad experiences, so here we go. The first time I took my 10 year old niece to get her nails polished. No gel, just simple polish, took about 15 minutes. It was a man in mid 60s or so who did them, I have no name. I didn't ask about the price, assuming (I know!) it would be less than $20. I get to the register and he says $42!!!!!! I said what? He said $42 again. I paid it because I didn't want to take a fun experience and ruin it. I told myself I'd never be back. Well about a year later (about 3 weeks ago, late November '24) I was driving by and thought ehh get your nails done. Make sure you know the price and all will be good. Wrong. I got Becky, who must've been having a bad day from the get go. She literally threw my hand in the air when she was done doing whatever she was doing, like get out of here. After 10 minutes of that I was ready to walk out. She must've noticed and tried to make small talk. Fail. So the worst part was the job she did. She used the tool to remove my polish, made my finger bleed. The polish looked opaque and amateurish. She made my nails concave and the corners quickly broke off, splintered way down to the quick. I have fantastic nail health. To their credit, I did call the owner and she gave me a credit for my services. I will get them redone this week with a prayer (by the owner) and then take my business elsewhere. In the grand scheme of things it's nails right? I wish I could give a ZERO STAR. Yesterday I went to get my nails done which this was the FIRST AND LAST TIME I will ever go here. At first the nails were looking great until I stepped outside to leave and it was horrible. I've never in my life had my nails look as bad as they did yesterday. then to top it off I was told a full set was $35 and the designs would be $15 so the total would be $55 right??? WRONG I was charger $69 and some change on top of giving a $5 tip for the lady which I shouldn't have given but being the nice person I am why not..... I had to come home and reshape myself I'm a better damn nail tech then these wanna bees and I've never done nails in my life but I guarantee you I'm about to start doing my own... best believe I am calling about pricing because how are you going to say $55 would be my total and I get charged almost $70 when I literally could of did the shit my self.... I've been going here since they were in the Woodville Mall 20+ years ago. Tina is amazing. As well is the girl who is new and sits next to Tina. Absolutely great. She fixed the horrible job another nail tech did the day before. Now I know who to ask for...but all in all they always look great. Never nickel and dime you for everything. I've been very disappointed in this salon several times and never have it in me to say anything but today I had a woman name Becky do my nails and one needed repaired, not only was the nail she put on completely crooked but it was super lumpy and shaped weird compared to the rest when I showed her my two thumbs compared to one another so she could see how much of a difference it was and asked her to fix it she got mad and started talking in a language I couldn't understand and going crazy with her drill and cut me several times. she was rude. am I crazy for wanting to be happay with spending $60.00 on my nails? I will not be returning to this salon and should have learned my lesson from all the other terrible experiences I'be had here! read more

I'm not typically the one to write bad reviews but I was very disappointed in my experience at first nails & spa. The second I sat in the chair Becky rushed right through my nails like she had something better to do. She was very rude, and nicked my skin a couple times, and was very aggressive with my hands. Once she was done with my nails, they looked like "boo's purple door" from Monsters Inc. This is fr the first nail spa I've been to that didn't make my nails look horrible. I absolutely loved the job that Tina did on my nails. Not only do the nails look amazing, there's no bumps or dents in my nails like other places have done to me. Tina was also quite fast and precise with her work (I'm used to sitting in nails salons forever). I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you want your nails looking cute. read more

I popped in while visit he area from out of town. Made my appointment on the phone 15 mint yes after phoning in. The salon quiet and clean. And I have to say that the pedicure was the most thorough pedicure I may have ever had. The gentle men giving me the pedicure was gentle and meticulous. So I got a LOT to say. Last summer I got a Pedi with Becky. She ripped a chunk out of my toe and used stuff that had not been cleaned. I went to TN a few days later and her shitshow of a job left my foot infected. A nurse told me that it was the nail techs fault, the nurse has also been doing nails for 10+ years. I decided to give Becky another chance today, I got a full set nails. The actual nails are cute. But I have a chunk out of my finger and she left paint all over my fingers and didn't even trim my nails, instead of trimming my cuticles or at least pushing them back she used one of the nail drills to move/cut them. She tried to get the paint off with a NAIL FILE. And honestly looking at the paint job as is it is raggity and bumpy. I did not want gel polish but you know she can do what she wants. NOT worth the $57. Pathetic My friend had a good experience with a male nail tech that I have also had before and loved. If I ever decide to go back I will be asking for him. Went and had a woman nickel and dime me for everything I wanted done. They have definitely changed over the past few years. I was so upset after I had them redo them twice and went and spent another $25 to have another place fix them and NOW they look great. Took my daughter for a manicure during her spring break and she loved it. I called in the morning and they had an opening a short time later. They were busy when we walked in but there were a lot of employees working so they were getting customers taken care of in a timely manner. The lady that took care of my daughter did a nice job but did remove just a little too much cuticle on one of her fingers so it was red hence 4 stars instead of 5. I have to admit my daughter rarely gets her nails done so they weren't in the best shape to begin with though. Overall very friendly bunch and my daughter had a great time. NEVER AGAIN . I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and this was by far the WORST nail appointment I have ever had to sit through . I went in to have an old acrylic set taken off and a new one put on . They had me soak them for what I was told was going to be 30 minutes . I ended up sitting for over an hour . When they finally took me to a table the tech ended up popping my old set off with a clipper anyway . My hands were covered in residue from the soak and I was told just to wash them when I got home . While filing my new set four of my fingers were cut . They charge extra for any shape that is not square . I wanted almond and the shape looks absolutely inconsistent on every nail . my Index finger nail is completely applied crooked . The lengths were all over the place . I got gel polish on top that wasn't applied all the way To the edges . There was polish left all over my cuticles AND ON MY HANDS. The edges of my nails are rough and uneven . There is thick build up of acrylic on the under sides of my nails . I could go on . The only reason I did not demand for it to be fixed is because I wanted out of that hell hole as quickly as possible . i was charged $62 which is standard, for an acceptable job . charging $62 for this massacre is absolutely shameful . I asked for a regular manicure, as I was not spending the extra for gel and am not a fan of the removal procedure with gel. When I go to remove the polish it wont come off!!! Obviously it is gel. I had a pedicure and manicure done yesterday. Needless to say I was not happy with the service I received. The lady did my nails was not happy that I requested a third coat of polish on my toes when the polish was not covering evenly. I had requested a different color for my fingernails and the gel product was bad. The color kept making clots when the gel was hardening under the lights. It was awful. I don't think if I wouldnt have said something she would have left it be. I told her I was not happy and she did put another color (blue) on but the old color (yellow) was still noticeable around the edges. I was charged $90. Most places use two hot towels one for each leg here you get one only on top of your legs. Massage was approx 30 seconds. I had been there before back in Sept. and had a bad experience which involved in going to podiatrist and getting an ingrown nail fixed. I thought I give them a second chance and not use same gal.
