We were looking for years, and absolutely fell in love with the place they built. While I can't comment on the working relationship, I can can comment on their quality of outcome, which is stellar. Gas line? Hot water recirc? Heated flooring? Large overhangs? Pushing your space to the legal height limits? Balconies, induction stoves, floor to ceiling Anderson doors and spacious windows or open concept living areas? Glass garage doors? Garappa platform decking? Energy recovery ventilator? Electric car charging? Mini split AC? Everything is beautiful, everything works, and we're super happy with the end result. Is it perfect? No. Is anything ever perfect? Also no. Has every inspector or tradesman we've hired made an unsolicited comment on the build quality? Yes. Has that happened to our friends or family? No, definitely not with this unprompted consistency. While we have some settlement problems with the flooring, issues with some appliances, some scraping on the balcony doors, and the drainage pump should have used waterproof wing nuts (also the float valves easily get caught), overall it's a supremely complex 5 story build with stellar results. We're only a year in, so we'll see how it goes, but so far so great.

I met Chad through a friend of mine who is a long-time real estate agent. Moisture had gotten into…read morea portion of the bathroom wall nearest the shower door and the paint had bubbled up. Several contractors had come out before I found Chad, but none of them could figure out where the water leak was coming from. Since it was water damage, I called this company that used fancy equipment to locate where water leaks were coming from. That guy came out, ran his fancy water leak machine around the wall but couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from and left me with a $600 bill! Then the last contractor that came out to look at the problem (before I met Chad) recommended that I tear out the entire wall around the bathtub/shower and put in a whole new wall around the shower. When I asked him how much that would cost, it ended up being over $10,000! And the damage to the side of the wall appeared to be fairly well contained, approximately 5 inches in length, so I found it hard to believe that I'd have to go to that extreme of tearing out the entire wall. At this point I'm fed up with having several contractors come out, and not one of them can figure out where the leak is coming from, so I called my real estate friend to see if she or any of her real estate friends knew of a contractor that had done work for any of them that they liked, and she immediately mentions Chad, without any hesitation. I thought, okay, that's a good sign initially. No hesitation there to come up with a name of a contractor. He had done work in my friend's condo, including painting her condo (she still raves about the excellent paint job he and his crew did), and she told me that Chad had also done work for several of her real estate friends who were also very pleased with his work. It seemed everybody was happy with the work he had done for them, so I contacted him and told him about the issue with my bathroom wall, and we set up an appointment so he could come out to look at the bathroom wall, and we'd go from there. I couldn't believe the HUGE difference between Chad and all the other contractors I had contacted. Not only did Chad find what was causing the water leak (the sealing around the shower door had deteriorated in some parts and water was slowly leaking through). He immediately went to work resealing all around the shower door. Then he went to work on the portion of the bathroom wall where the paint had bubbled up and opened up just that portion of the wall where there was damage. He inspected for mold and thankfully there was none, but he explained he was going to leave a fan in the bathroom and that I was to leave it running to help with drying up the surface moisture around that area, and his crew would return a few days later to finish up the wall. So a few days past, his crew shows up and Lee patches up the wall, then returns a few days later to check on the wall and complete the work. When he's done, that wall looks like nothing ever happened. It looked like a brand new wall! I was so impressed, and so happy that finally...... FINALLY!....... a contractor showed up that was able to assess the problem quickly and know how to fix it. Remember the other contractor I told you about earlier that estimated a final bill of over $10,000? Chad's bill ended up being less than $800! I couldn't believe it. So of course I call my real estate friend after all the work is done and rave about Chad and his crew to her. I also thanked her for her excellent recommendation. Both she and Chad saved me from spending thousands of dollars on a job that really only ended up being less than $800. It's been several years now since that bathroom work was done by Chad and his crew, and that wall and the sealant around the shower door is holding up beautifully! Since that time, I've called on Chad for other work around my condo, because of the superb work they did on my bathroom wall. His crew has come over and installed kitchen lighting, and also came out and helped me with a dishwasher that was leaking on the floor. And the important thing for me is that every single time I have called on this company for any type of work I need done in my condo, they come out, they get the job done, and I never have a problem with the work they've done after. They fix it and it stays fixed. That's all I wanted. Fix the problem! Chad and his crew does! I love them! It just feels so good to know you can trust a company to do the work well, and it's a time saver for me because next time I need any work done? I know who to call. I don't have to waste time looking around and trying to figure out who's reputable, etc. My apologies for such a long review, but I know I like when people leave long reviews and go into detail because it helps give me a feel for the company and if it might be a good fit for what I need, so I hope my positive experience with this company will help someone out there.
