SCAM ‼SCAM ‼SCAM ‼SCAM ‼ I came here on a Saturday for their car auction and spoke to the person in charge about At 2013 ford fusion for the price of 2,500. He took me to his office and looked the vin number up to the car and told me that somebody else put a down payment on that car already and asked me to put down 700$. I put down 700$ not knowing at that moment it was non refundable. I called them that Monday asking how much to bring up there to finish paying, the man over the phone told me 3100. I bring 3100 and then I get inside the office to make my final payment and it goes up to 4,200! Be fr I'm not finna pay yall ass 4,200 for a car that's not even worth it. The security guard so slow and tuff he probably get paid under the table that's why he talk to ppl like they don't have any sense. He needs to be fired and put in jail and that whole establishment needs to be shut down. I will be getting my 700$ back whether I have to sue them I really don't care. Yall not gone be able to scam or finesse nobody else after I take them to court. This whole business is like a low key mob like Matilda dad.

Beware..... Especially if you're a foreigner. They don't discriminate. They scam everyone. One of their tricks is to have you put a down payment on a vehicle before you see it in person. They want you to rely on their photos of their vehicles, but they don't tell you that they don't show the severely damaged areas or severely rusted areas of their vehicles in their photos. They only show customers pictures of the undamaged sides of the vehicles. So don't put a down payment on their junk. If you do you will definitely regret it. Did you know that they make more money by keeping your non-refundable deposits.

Listen to the reviews! The cars are sold as is which means you truly get what you get. I was told not to turn the car off as i got the keys .. who says that. The car stopped 200 feet up the road and was profusely leaking gas. Their communication and professional is terrible.

This dealership is shady!!! Buyer beware. My boyfriend had…read moreno credit history and his score was 0...so he was surprised when they found a bank to finance him. After signing the contract on 11/14/19, They let us take the car home even though the financing hadn't went through yet. 4 days later they asked us to come back and sign a new contract because the bank changed the terms of the agreement. On 11/20, I put up a bad review on google. They actually got pissed and called my boyfriend to threaten him. They said that if I didn't take the bad review down and give them 5 stars, then they would take the car back. I swear that crap has to be illegal! It is now 11/21 and the financing still has not been approved yet. They are super shady and unorganized. And I didn't appreciate how long we had to wait. When you 1st walk through the door you have to wait a long time before someone even acknowledges you. I do not recommend this place and will NEVER purchase anything else from them. Also they never disclosed the body damage on the car. It had a big dent in the car plus scratches on the bumper. They claimed they knew nothing a out it and refused to fix it.

The fact that I just had to give this company 1 star just pissed me off. Never ever buy a car from…read morehere and do not trust the mechanic either. Transmission went out with in 2 weeks of purchase car wouldn't even go in reverse. Everyone at this dealership works together to save each others behind. The lie and steal. They'll tell you to pay down payment put don't even put it towards the price of the vehicle. No one will give you a contact number for the owner, all they ever say when you ask for the owner is they have no way to contact him and he never comes in. One guy told me they don't have a owner. Beware. I would buy a car off western before I ever spend another dime here.

The car arrived safe and sound, which I am grateful for. The driver didn't speak a LOT of English,…read morebut he was very nice, which I am also grateful for. I feel like Montway was a bit deceptive in the quote however. The initial quote was raised because the car was "modified", but in reality it had been stretched 1.5 ft in the front. This was not an issue for the transport, as the driver had a trailer that hauled 2-3 vehicles. Montway rep said on the phone that $200-$300 would be charged to my credit card and the rest would go to the driver, and I received an email stating that $1370 would be owed to the driver on delivery. In reality, Montway charged my card $499, and sent another email stating to only pay the driver $1,100, which I did, but it felt deceptive. I am guessing that Montway got a way better deal from the driver than they anticipated, and instead of passing some of that saving on to me, or explaining, they just charged my card double what the rep said they would and kept all of the profit. Also, the rep promised tracking, which never happened - we had to call the driver a couple of times to find out the delivery time, because he hit traffic (which I understand he cannot control) and got held up by a couple of hours. All in all, it is done, but Montway didn't leave the best impression overall as a transport broker. Grateful I had a better driver than some of these other reviews...

On Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 7:59AM PST time, I sent a cancellation request on my outlook email as specified exactly in there terms and condition as followed to the email of info@montway.com. Section 9: c. Cancellation of an Order by Customer must be submitted in writing via email sent to info@montway.com. Cancellations made via telephone, text, chat or any other medium will not be accepted by Montway. No one was dispatched yet when that email was sent that. I have uploaded the receipt of the email to this complaint On Wednesday. June 17th, 11:37AM PST, I received an email that a driver was dispatched even though my cancellation was well before that. I was told on call on Wednesday that I would be charged because someone was dispatched. Why was someone dispatched when I clearly cancelled the order well before that? As specified in their terms and condition: a. Customer may cancel an Order at any time at no cost or cancellation fees as long as the Order has not yet been accepted by a Carrier. They claimed on call they could not find the email record and claimed I will be charged the cancellation fee. I would be happy to work with Montway, the BBB, and outlook, to show proof of this email receipt that was was sent to their email at info@montway.com. I have provided them the receipt of the email record on the phone call and in chat and it was still not resolved. As of now this is also a filed complaint with the BBB and will be disputed with my bank if it comes to that. Edit: I see the reply below and you could message me at-least to find out my order. Why would I post the order number publicly? Edit 6/22/2026: In my BBB complaint reply by Montway, it was confirmed that I did indeed DID contact them before. I am getting my refund and will keep track of this. For everyone who has or will have this issue, please file a BBB complaint and attach Montway's terms of service in addition to your email as track record if you ever encounter this issue.
