I came here with my first baby for the gender blood test as well as the 4d ultrasound and had a great experience both times. Unfortunately this time around I came in for the gender blood test once again I was very disappointed. The whole experience was very unsanitary and awkward. The person drawing the blood was dressed very unprofessional in dingy clothing and ripped shoes. He brought all of his medical supplies in plastic grocery bags and was digging through the bags looking for needles and supplies. My blood was then drawn on a very plush couch which cannot be sanitized between patients. As someone who works in the medical field I know that this is very unsanitary and unacceptable. I will not be returning in the future. read more

This is one time I've seen a business truly redeem themselves from a bad experience. I was surprised to get a phone call a few weeks ago from the owner, explaining that he had a new technician and would like to make up for our bad experience with the last one. We went back today and had a great experience. The technician was very friendly, helpful and respectful and welcomed any questions we had. On top of that, she was VERY good at what she does... She gave us better images than we've had from our USC doctor's 4D and the other private 3D/4D business we went to. The owner was very open, honest and apologetic for our bad experience and I could tell he meant it. I respected that very much. He obviously cares about his customers. It was a great experience overall, they definitely deserve the 5 stars and we would highly recommend them!! read more

First Look Sonogram was great and kind! My appointment was fast and very easy. My tech was super informative and even though the baby was wiggling around she got great pictures! Would recommend!! read more

My husband and I came here solely to find out the gender of our baby. I was about 14 weeks, possibly a little further along. First look Sonogram was great. They did not try to up-sell. They were honest and upfront by explaining that the baby was not developed enough to warrant a 3D/4D. We ordered the baseline 2D package. Our appointment was quick, about 5 minutes long and Katie was able to identify the sex immediately. They provided a few black and white 2D images as well. We were very pleased with the service provided. read more

We found out sex of our baby at 14 weeks here. Nice large area for family to sit and watch baby. Technician was very sweet. Cost was 50 dollars, for 5 minute gender reveal 3 D scan. We got some clear pics of our little guy too. Check website for price on other packages. read more

I visited First Look Sonogram today to find out the gender of my baby and everything was great! The facilitiy is really nice and welcoming; it's nothing like a doctor's office which was cool! The receptionist was nice as was my ultrasound tech. She was able to identify the baby's gender within a couple of minutes but confirmed it 4 time throughout the scan to be sure which I appreciated. The tech was able to easily spot the baby's gender when I was 14 weeks just like they advertised. The sonogram room looks more like a bedroom (you lay on a comfortable bed and there are couches for your friends/family to sit on) which was a nice touch along with the music and the smell-goods. I'd certainly recommend First Look sonogram to anyone and if I have another baby, will come back again for my next gender reveal! read more

I came here three times during my pregnancy. First to hear baby heartbeat, second to know the gender and the last to see baby face. I'm satisfied every time. The technician is very experienced and friendly. The appointment went well, I don't have to wait or anything. Highly recommended. read more

This was my third pregnancy and my third visit. I absolutely love this place! It is gorgeous, clean, soothing, and the people are great! I had to cancel my first appointment due to a family emergency. I then had to reschedule and they were extremely accommodating. The owner even called me the morning of my appointment to let me know they were having a summer street fair so the streets were blocked off and parking might be difficult. Thank goodness he took the time out of his schedule to let me know! Definitely go here! read more

I was very pleased with the friendliness and the overall place with First Look. I went because I've been dying to find out what I'm having even though I'm only 15 weeks. Well I went, and the baby wouldn't open it's legs. We got some super cute pics of it sucking it's thumb which was awesome, but even though the baby wouldn't open its legs, the tech told me it was a boy. The "It's a boy" pic I have is pointing to 3 very white lines, which has me really worried that it really isn't a boy. I even had a friend who is an ultra sound tech look at the pic and she said there was no real way to tell from the photo, but from the lines it looked like a girl... On the website it says that if they aren't 100% sure of the gender, they bring you back, but they didn't say anything about that to me. I just dont know how they are sure given how the ultrasound went and the photos we got... I'm excited about the possibility of a boy, but I'm not painting the walls until I have it confirmed by my doctors office at a later date... Just a bit disappointed because I went to first look to be sure.... **UPDATE** After not being convinced with the pictures I was given, I called this morning and spoke with Alan, the owner. He was funny and understanding (even mentioned he had read my Yelp Review already - EMBARASSING!) and offered to send me other pictures from my scan that may clear things up. He also said if I still was not sure, he would bring me in for a rescan. I was pleased to get the photos and see clearly that it was a boy! I'm glad I called, otherwise I would have been unsure for the next 4 weeks. It's very evident this place prides themselves on customer satisfaction. read more

I would definitely recommend First Look. I had a 5 star experience from the moment I booked my appointment until the moment I left my appointment. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming to my fiancé and I as soon as we walked in. The tech was also very friendly, knowledgable, and quick. I will be recommending all my friends :). read more

First Look Sonogram - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

We came here at 14 weeks to find out our little one's gender. The place was very clean and I was surprised at how big and cozy the sonogram room is. The images we got of our baby were so amazing and so much better than my regular doctor's office. It makes the experience that much more special when you can see so much detail! The tech was able to tell us the gender (a boy, yay!) very quickly and told us the baby's weight and measurements. She was very nice and friendly. I loved our experience here and will definitely be back for the 4D when we are further along! read more

He got me in that weekend. The office is so nice and clean, ultrasound room was huge! They told me the gender right away and gave me better pictures then I get at the doctors office!! My husband & I went here to find out our baby's gender and just came back for a 4D ultrasound at 28 wks and it was amazing! The staff is great and the space where you get your ultrasound is large enough to bring family if you want to. The packages are really reasonable and I would definitely recommend getting the one with the DVD so you can have it as a keepsake; they add music to it and record your whole session! I would definitely recommend First Look to anyone expecting! read more

Great location, great experience, very comfortable with large rooms to fit entire family. I wish my OB's office was this relaxing. We actually went twice during my pregnancy. Both times we had Krystal and she is awesome and very knowledgeable! I couldn't get a gender at my OB's office because baby was sleeping in wrong position and they are so rushed there...five minutes here and we found out that we're having a boy! Check 'em out! read more

Krystal is amazing at getting the baby to take pictures! Great people there. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

This was our third visit to First Look. Always a wonderful experience! We made a mistake on the time, but they still fit us in and were concerned first and foremost about us getting what we wanted. I also like that they can let you make your own playlist for the background music on the DVD. My kids are now 5 and 3 and love watching their videos years later! read more

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience here. We did the 50$ package to find out the gender of our baby. I am 15 1/2 weeks. The gentleman in the front was very informative as well as friendly, telling us stories on his experiences as a parent. We were a little early for our appointment, so once 4:30 hit we were called in right on time. There was no crazy wait time which I really liked. Once we got in, our ultra sound tech made sure we wanted to find out the gender and double checked to make sure it wasn't supposed to be a surprise which I appreciated. She was quick to tell us we were having a boy within about 2 minutes of the appointment. I liked that she spotted it so quickly and made sure multiple times he was a boy. We ended our visit with some black and white pictures and headed out as happy customers. Will recommend & come back for our 4d, thank you! read more

This place is just amazing. We went here to find out the sex of baby and to visit with him on occasion. The lady who does the sonograms is just the best. It really shows that she adores her work. First Look is the real deal. My wife and I were so excited to find out the sex of our first born and we had heard great things about Alan and his staff. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome while answering every question we had. Once inside the sonogram room we were treated to such professionalism and expertise from the CERTIFIED tech! She blew everyone else out of the water with her knowledge. Anyway, we loved it so much that we recommended First Look to all of our other friends having babies. We'll definitely be back for baby number 2. read more

Went here due to a referral from my friend. We were greeted just find and the space is very pleasant. We decided to do the 4D package with the video and pictures. Our baby didn't cooperate the first time so we had a followup session for free. The second time around our baby wasn't cooperating either. It wasn't until I was watching the DVD video that we got from First Look that I noticed how strong the ultrasound lady was shaking our baby so he can move for a better angle. If I knew how strong the shaking was I would have put a stop to it. So if you plan on using First Look, make sure your baby isn't been shaken so much in there. Who knows what type of effect it might have to them!!!! read more
