First time mom here and Ann put my anxiety to rest! I got to see my baby's heartbeat today. Ann was friendly knowledgeable and kind! Will definitely recommend and might even come back! Thank you.

I love how they decorated the whole place, it was very cozy as well

Good morning, yesterday I went to my 13 week appointment but they didn't do an ultrasound and I'm dying to see my baby! Do we need to schedule appointments or can I go as a walk in?

Came here for an Interventional Radiology procedure. While many things went well, they glossed over…read morethe things that really annoy a patient. This is a stressful time for the patient and family. Anticipate friction points from the patient's viewpoint and solve them before arrival! We lack time to work with you to solve your logistical problems. Light rail may work for some outpatients. Most patients drive to your location or someone drives them. So, they need good directions. The pre-admitting interview person gave generic directions to the place and Google Maps were no help at all. Develop good directions and work with Apple, Garmin, and Google to add them. After a failed map search, by chance we called 562-933-1550 (radiology scheduling) and a very pleasant lady finally gave us correct directions: navigate to 403 E Columbia St., from Atlantic Blvd turn right onto Columbia St., drive past the lime-green Diagnostic Imaging building, turn right into side parking, and park in places labeled "for diagnostic imaging patients". Walk across the street and check in at the outpatient surgery center. Helpful! Please program the MyChart automated Epic system to send those directions. MyChart sent the address for the Long Beach Medical Center, a large complex covering several acres and with many entrances. After checking in, the experience was good. Nurses Priscilla and Delilah were very professional and helpful. The interventional radiology team was also great. I felt sorry for the tech who pushed my gurney from the pre-op area through several doors before reaching the interventional radiology room. None of the doors were set to open automatically. He used the gurney to brace the double doors open. Implement automatic doors before an accident happens. The strong, sticky tape that provides antibacterial barrier and holds patient's neck in one orientation for three days was more annoying than the procedure. Warn the patient about this. On removal, the tape ripped off about two square inches of skin. The abrasions and wounds create an entry for infection, so patient's medical team may delay the follow-on treatment until they heal. Talk to a surgeon, preferably a plastic surgeon, to identify a better tape.

The Imagining staff welcomed me through the double doors then walked me to the changing room; they provided clear instructions. The Radiographer was friendly and explained every step and move, which calmed me down. They provided ear plugs, ear muffs, and a wash cloth for my eyes, so I could relax during the procedure.

My Doctor wanted me to get an MRI on my lower back ASAP because of constant low back pain. So I…read more"attempted" to schedule an MRI at Torrance Memorial Polack Imaging and was told the earliest I could get in would be about a week. So I remembered obtaining my last MRI at MRI Imaging in Torrance (now called Torrance Advanced Imaging). Telephone staff was able to get me in the next day and offered me various times that were convenient for me. Arrived the next morning at 7:30am to helpful receptionist and the MRI Tech. Was in and out in about 30 minutes. I was immediately given my MRI on a CD/DVR disc to provide to any doctor. They reminded me that the MRI is my property so any and all doctors can make copies and give the original back to me for future doctors' use. The actual Radiologist report would be available to me doctor the following day. And since I wanted a copy for my records, I dropped by the following day and they provided me with a hard copy of the Radiologist report. They accepted Medicare and my Supplemental. I could not be happier with the service and support that Torrance Advanced Imaging provides it clients/patients. Facilities are bright & clean. All staff was knowledgable, friendly and competent.

MRI technician would not allow me to bring my cane. I assured her that I needed my cane very unstable , I mentioned to her that I was concerned that I might fall. She did not care she did not help me off the MRI machine which I almost fell. I showed up early/on time. I waited 40 minutes to be called for my appointment. When I checked in…read moreno one told me I wasn't suppose to use the restroom/urinate. I used the restroom while waiting. When I did see the technician I'm told that I must have a full bladder to do this procedure so now I'm told to drink 2 large glasses of water and wait Again. No one tells me it's going to be an hour before my bladder is 'full' so now I'm waiting an additional hour on top of the 40 I've already waited. When I asked why no one let me know about The full bladder needed I was told there was a voicemail left and I should have gotten that. They said I should also know which test I'm getting...now mind you no one bothered to circle the test I was getting on the paper so that I would Know. I said I understand but I never received the voicemail only an email which I used to confirm my 10:05 AM appointment. I said that it would have been nice to mention when checking in. The way I was treated by the receptionists is not what I expect from a professional office taking my money for a service. i understand everyone has bad days but todays bad day was at my expense and with no regard or apology from anyone working in this office. A little kindness goes a long way... PS The technician was great and very kind.
