I would have given 0 stars if we could. We approached First Impressions booth at the home show Friday July 15th. After speaking with the sales man, we filled out paperwork with our names, address, and a description of iron/security door we were interested in attaining a quote for. We made an appointment for July 25th at 11am. At 11:30 I called their business to find out if someone was coming. A receptionist took all the same info we'd already provided at the home show (carbon copy provided to us, they had the original). She then said she'd have someone look into this. No show, no return call, text, or email. We're so disappointed with businesses at these shows, as they act like they want your business, but never follow through. We got our security door installed today and we are very happy with it . It's better than we expected it's beautiful. The installation was fast not positive of his name Matt or Mark was very professional. He explained how to adjust our new door if needed and how to maintain it beautiful. He put our door way things back so I didn't have to put nothing back after installation, I just enjoyed my door all day :) Thankyou first impressions for having great customer service installers makes the experience even more enjoyable when adding beautiful doors to our homes. read more

In a separate review, I'll share more about my overall experience with FII. This is reserved to express my wow moment and experience with the Installation Technician John Ochoa. He was the ultimate professional; he called while in route, was on time and upon arrival, took the time to listen to my needs and desires as a customer. He was attentive, responsive and communicated with me throughout each and every step of the installation process. I have a unique courtyard situation with a stone wall on one side of the house causing a leveling issue. My neighbor (who also used First Impression) has the same stone wall and purchased a similar door to mine (another story for the next review) and had her stone scraped and dug into upon installation. While her door is gorgeous and beautifully designed, the nature of her stone after installation is rather unsightly, something I definitely did not want. I explained that to John and he promised to leave my stone in tact after installation. There were areas that had to be shaved down with a saw, but you simply cannot tell the stone was touched at all. Johns vision for my gate came to fruition and I couldn't be more pleased with the work he did. The best part of this experience thus far was the installation. Should I decide to order a screen door from this company, I will be requesting that John do the install. Thanks John ! I hope they give you a sizable raise and/or bonus and a huge promotion.
