We had Turnkey Lawn Service for 7 months. We live in the gated community of GlenWyck Farms. On…read moreseveral different dates during our service period with Turnkey, I had the opportunity to observe Larry's crew perform our lawn mowing and bed weeding and the quality of their work is very poor. Regularly, the crew would leave large clumps of grass laying around the yard. The blades on their mowers were obviously not sharp that also caused a fungus in my grass. Regarding the weed bedding, be careful. Larry charged $100 to weed our beds. Observing his crew, they would often not weed at all and still charge the $100 fee. Larry has no quality review process to ensure that his crew his actually doing the work that they charge for. When I contacted Larry, he insisted that their trucks have devices to track the amount of time that a crew spends at each site. Still, he would note come out to our home to visualize the sub-standard work of his crew. In other words, Larry measures the performance of Turnkey and his crew based on the amount of time that they spend at a customer site rather than applying a quality process to verify that his customers are getting what they pay for. It was visually clear that Turnkey charges for work that they did not perform and for sub-standard work. When the quality of our lawn and flower beds got to the point that our neighbors began asking me if we had discontinued our landscaping service, I again asked Larry to come out and observe our lawn. However, Larry indicated that his crew was experienced and that there was no need for him to do so. Finally, Larry's crew would often not complete their work during the scheduled service date (ours was Friday), and then return a day or two later. On one Saturday afternoon in July, my wife and daughter were in our back yard laying out in the sun when Larry'c crew appeared unannounced in our backyard. When I returned home that afternoon, my wife explained that Larry's crew sat in the grass area aside our pool, watching my wife and daughter lay in the sun. After a few minutes, my wife and daughter went inside the house as they were made to feel very uncomfortable. Again, Larry had no explanation for this intrusion and offered no apologies for the inconvenience. Poor quality, terrible management and oversight and with no apparent concern for customer satisfaction. Prospective customers of Turnkey, be careful.
