I had asked her about parking situation, available garages, etc. prior to the 2-day class and made it seem like it was not a problem. 3.5 hrs driving into Brooklyn, only to find all parking garages are completely full, no metered parking and drive around for over an hour with no valid on street parking in sight. I had to turn back around and drive another 3.5 hrs back home. She did not even say "let's use your deposit towards another future class" or "Let ne refund your deposit gif such an inconvenience " I found her to be greedy and not understanding of the situation at all. You also need to bring all of your own supplies. Meaning not just your machine but pigments and needles. So be prepared to carry everything from your work into Brooklyn, walk a distance and lug it up mara it's to a studio without an elevator (which I also inquired about). Sign up at your own discretion. I rarely leave bad reviews but feel the professionalism could have went above and beyond. If she was willing to send a deposit back I most likely would have visited for other trainings. Seeing some of the reviews now I am noticing it may not have been a great idea.

They also provide facials, hydrotherapy, skin care treatments, traditional eye brow shaping and waxing which is what I did this visit. The store also has a retail front so you can buy the facial products you need after your treatment is complete. Lots of notable brands on hand and this place is very popular with the locals.

I loved the results and they lasted me quite awhile without a touch up. I went to her again recently and she still remembered what we talked about more than three years before! Annie is incredibly skilled at what she does and makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Her shop is small but cozy. This time around, I especially appreciated the foot rest which helps keep you comfortable during the entire session. The microblading takes about an hour. First, you undergo two rounds of numbing, one for twenty minutes and one for ten minutes. Annie then stencils your eyebrows and lets you take a look to confirm they are the shape and style you want. The actual tattooing is a bit uncomfortable and you can feel the small etchings on your face but definitely not painful. If you're like me and don't have the skill or patience to create your perfect brow every day, microblading is completely worth it.
