Over the years, I've done microblading at EverTrue and the results were good. Recently, I tried nanoblading, and it turned out to be an even better experience overall. The results are softer and more natural, yet still had enough coverage to blend over my old eyebrow tattoo (from years ago that stubbornly won't fade). With nanoblading, there was minimal downtime, and I've noticed the pigment holds up much better on my oily and sensitive skin. Sammi was amazing for eyeliner tattoo and the eyebrow line I wanted. I was a very particular customer that wanted extra thick eyeliner and yet a very thin line for eyebrows. It took a couple visits for the eyeliner tattoo and it was worth every penny and they do work with you. I had eyeliner tattoo in the back of an apt in Brooklyn years ago and it was def not the same quality and faded quickly. I had my microblading brow session with Judy Lu in July and the perfecting session 2 and a 1/2 weeks ago. After a few weeks of healing, I am very much in love with my brows. They are the perfect shade of color, look natural and are cleanly shaped. I definitely have uneven eyebrows due to my face muscle lifting one brow higher. I would always struggle with this but Judy used her expertise to even them out as much as possible. She's a true artist and is very patient, sweet and explains the process carefully. Do not be scared of the dark brows!! I was totally shocked at first despite all the warnings but once the wound peeled, most of the ink went away. After my first session, I noticed the color was very natural but not as bold as I wanted. Due to oily skin and applying too much of their ointment, Judy explained that this probably caused loss of pigment. But that's why the perfecting session exists - Judy listened to my concerns and worked with me to make my brows darker during the second session. The whole process went smoothly and I felt minimal pain. I felt comfortable the entire time and the salon has a very relaxing atmosphere. I would also recommend bringing a hat to protect your brows from the sun after the session! I was very pleased with the service at Evertrue microblading salon and really recommend Judy. Not so happy customer here. I read great reviews about this salon here and went in for it. 1st session, I was happy. But I knew it was a bit darker than I normally would go for. I asked my technician to go lighter, but she insisted I should go darker. So I listened, but I felt it was darker, so at the 2nd session, I asked her not to go any darker, or I really needed minimal retouch. Now I'm thinking I shouldn't have gone to the 2nd sessions now it's even darker than the 1st outcome, and thicker. She insisted it will get lighter after a week, but I barely did. At least darker than the 1st session. I'm not going back to this place ever, and now I made an appointment at laser removal. I didn't want this think eye brow... The technician is very precise and dedicated, I'm sure, but she wasn't going to listen or be versatile on each customers style or background. read more
