UPDATED HOURS. They now open at 9:30am (instead of 9am) Mon-Sat. I learned that the hard way by getting here at 9:15. Pretty standard service consistent with your typical Perfect Brows. The woman was very friendly and worked quickly. Made adjustments as we went along when I said I wanted my eyebrows threaded thinner. read more

Perfect Brows NYC - Threading Services Near Me - New York, New York

This place was exactly what I needed yesterday. I needed my eyebrows done badly and I was in and out. She did my eyebrows waxing for $10 and my lip for $6. It is a tiny place on 9th avenue between 58th and 57th street. And they didn't make a fuss that I had my golden retriever with me. This is definitely a new spot for me in the city when I need them done asap! Thank you Perfect Brows! They came out absolutely perfect! read more

I love this eyebrow threading place they don't take off too much hair and understand what thick with a shape means

My go-to Perfect Brows for years has always been on First Avenue but now that I live on the UWS I've gone here a number of times. The women are just as competent as the women on the UES. Eyebrow tinting and threading were perfect and full leg waxing was fine. read more

Basic but good..rarely a wait time. employees are accommodating. They offer many services.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! NOT LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY, if I could give zero stars I would. This is my fifth time going to this location (I have receipts to prove it) and today I nicely told the girl doing eyebrows that I would have my legs waxed and she said wait, then a few mins later she asked if I was a boy or girl? And I told her does it matter? I'm availing your services and she said because the management said that THEY ONLY DO GIRLS FOR LEGS, boys can only do eyebrows and back. They didn't have any signs in front that says that, I kept explaining to them that this is my 5th time going here and I didn't have problems problems before, they "felt sorry" for me proving a point, I also asked if the other lady can do my legs because I won't accept what the other girl said, it's already 2026 and gender is still an issue for waxing? SO RIDICULOUS mind you I still paid full price and gave a tip read more

I have been going to this shop for years and usually have the same woman doing my brows. Today, I was greeted by someone new that I've never had. I was born with a unibrow so my eyebrows are naturally full and thick. The woman today not only made my eyebrows super thin, she cut me in multiple places and left my brow bone area bruised and swollen. When I told her my eyebrows were too thin and my eyebrow are was swollen, she said that my hair is too curly and she had to work really hard to get it into the shape she did. How? That literally makes zero sense. I've been threading my eyebrows for 20 years and have never had an issue like this until today. I will never return to this shop again and I highly suggest anyone coming to not come on a Tuesday afternoon. read more

I've been getting waxed for about 10 years, and never once have I had an experience like this. I asked for a Brazilian, the woman who waxed me was so abrasive and rushed. I was left with multiple bruising on my crotch and bikini line, which is CRAZY. On top of that she tried to downplay the whole situation and act like it was OK and normal. read more

Absolutely terrible - the lady who did my eyebrows did not do them well. My left eye is bruised. She started doing them really fast when she saw other customers come in - you should not treat a customer like that. Bad service - I'm not usually one to judge but was very disappointed with her. Not worth the money I paid. read more

I made a last minute appointment and she was able to fit me in before catching a flight out! She was so gentle and did an amazing job on my brows! read more

My eyebrows came out exactly how I expected! I did tint to my brows. Its a few blocks away from my job so this place came in handy! I def will recommend going to this location! read more

Operating hours say they close at 8pm. At 7:50 I was refused service to do my clean eyebrows, literally clean them up because I have a photoshoot in the morning and I just had my eyebrows done 1.5 weeks ago. Girl could have cared less to help me and she closed before 8pm as she was walking out the door at 7:55. read more

Sree was amazing, super fast and professional. Definitely recommend asking for her if you come in.

I was looking for a new eyebrow place and was recommended by a few Facebook people to Perfect Brows. They specifically said Sree was great so I went and decided to check her out. SREE IS AMAZING!! I was skeptical just because I don't play about my brows and once you mess them up they take forever to grow back. I'm glad I went and was completely satisfied. She waxed my brows followed up with light threading which wasn't bad as I've never had my brows threaded before. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome and she will be seeing me again that's for sure!! read more

Solid, affordable, quick. No glitz, walk-ins welcome. Be specific with requests, but otherwise the perfect place to run to with a quick eyebrow clean-up need. Solid threading. Never had any issue. Solid reward coupon (every 7 threadings, you get one free). read more

Horrible service, the lady is so rude and unpleasant. Last time she she took half of my brow off and started yelling at me when I complained. Will never come back there read more

Needed to get my brows done for a wedding this weekend and they totally messed up on my eyebrows. My whole face looks lopsided now. I told her I was unhappy and she was arguing me and blamed that my eyebrows were uneven. Like girl, you're the one that made my eyebrows uneven...My eyebrows are embarrassing, wish I never went in read more

Perfect Brows NYC - Right eyebrow has no shape and is cut short. Ew. - Threading Services Near Me - New York, New York

DO NOT COME HERE!!! The employees are rude and customer service is beyond awful. Not only are my eye brows uneven after the lady attempted to thread them, half of the eye brow is gone and my eye brows were bleeding from how rough she was. At the same time, she waxed my nose and ripped out my nose ring. When I started to bleed she blamed me??? I hope this business gets shut down for how horrible the service is and how unprofessional the employees are. read more

def love the way she did my eyebrows she did them even an shaped them well with an arch and I will be coming back next time to do my lashes prices are not bad at all sree she is def the best. read more

Do not try to go after work, they have 1 employee and at times the wait is 20 minutes. While the skill set of the employees is excellent and they are very caring and clean up well, the staffing is one major recommendation that the management should take for improvement. I understand it is a small building but I believe 2 staff could work during peak hours like lunch time and after work to speed up wait time and improve customer experience read more

Not a great experience. The brow technician I had was kinda hasty and rude. Maybe it's part of them working very fast (and they do- a thread job can be as little as 5min). But when I sat down the woman barely asked what I wanted she just tried to start threading. I had to stop her to specify what I wanted etc. the end result was ok. A lot thinner than what I asked for when I specifically said not too thin since I was given the gift of naturally sparse brows... the arch was good but a little uneven and there is a part of my brow that is balder than the other. It's not terrible but I don't think I'll come back. The threading was pretty rough and I had a lot of red splotches after. I've been to other places where they were a little more gentle and more attentive towards what you want. The price is $8 for threading. The place i usually go to is $7. I don't care about the dollar. Just saying lol read more

Perfect Brows NYC - wax burns two days after upper lip wax... - Threading Services Near Me - New York, New York

There is a woman here who is absolutely rude and has no sense of how to behave with the customer. They literally left me bleeding and were loud and absurd. This is a chain, so please go to any other store. The one on 57th is so much better. Do not go to this one! This need to be shut down until they change the woman who works here!!! And this is not my first experience with her. This is the third time she did this. So please forget about giving second or third chance to someone. read more

Sree is amazing! highly recommend going to her. She was very kind and created a welcoming atmosphere.

Holy cow- literally just walking away from this place and my eyes are still sore. I've been getting eyelash tints for years and never in my life has it been so painful. I came here for a lash and brow tint- never been as I usually go to Benefit Brow Bar but this place is so much closer to my apartment, I thought I would try it. Never again! As soon as the woman applied the lash tint, my eyes started burning. I didn't say anything at first because I wanted to give it a chance- but being that last tint has never burned before, after about 3 mins I had to ask her to remove it. OMG it was so painful and they don't provide any eye wash fluid like Benefit. My eyes are red and I'm hoping it subsides soon. Can't attest to the other services but DO NOT GET YOUR LASHES TINTED HERE. Go to Benefit Brow Bar- it's not supposed to be a painful experience. read more

I got my eyebrows threaded here. I would like to point out that I don't trust anybody with my brows. But being in a new place I had to try it. The lady who did my eyebrows paid attention to everything I asked for. I like my eyebrows thick so we started off bigger and went down from there. I know exactly how I like my eyebrows and she did them to my liking. They loss a star for advertising henna and not having anyone to do it. They directly my friend and I to a place 9 blocks away that we walked to just to get there and have no henna at that place either. Unacceptable!! **update - the next morning and three days later my eyebrows have so many bumps. I have never had this happen before so I'm not sure what caused it** read more

Throughout my 7 years in NYC, I have alternated between "Great Threads" and "Perfect Brows" depending on where my apartment was at any given time. I think Perfect Brows is a solid place to get your eyebrows threaded. As with any eyebrow parlor, the person makes a difference. Usually I stick with the same person, but in a pinch I've had others do my eyebrows and usually the difference in quality is minor. I think there are 3 things that make this location stand out vs others on the UES - 1) Feedback - I find that I can be very specific in what I want for my eyebrows and my person is very receptive to adjusting or doing one eyebrow first and letting me check it to make sure its what I want. I know it can be annoying and other places can be less receptive / get mad 2) Cleanliness / Convenience - The parlor is always clean and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes (unless it is really busy) 3) Price - I pay ~$12ish + tip for eyebrows and upper lip, which I think is pretty reasonable, considering the quality and what you would pay around the country Would recommend trying a few different people out and finding who you like! I think this is a great spot for regular threading services read more

Rude staff; woman working on brows was chatting on phone entire time customer was in the chair.

I really hate to write this because I loved this place because of how it's close to my house but the last time I went I was SO DISAPPOINTED and ANGRY leaving! Saturday (6/9) I went in around 1:30pm to get my usual wax (clean up only, no shape) job on my eyebrows. When I get there, I asked for wax, and the women doing them kept telling me "No thread is better" and I'm looking at her as if she's crazy because I get my eyebrows waxed there often and it's no issue ever. She persists to insist I get thread, but my mind is made up because it's what I am used to and my money is paying for it so I say we're going to wax instead. I should have listened to her I guess, maybe she was trying to say that SHE couldn't do the wax. We begin to wax and it was going fine until I realized she was shaping my eyebrows in a curved manner rather than keeping the shape. So I asked, can she clean it more, and she did kinda... on one side only and the tail end of one eyebrow was just thinning. She told me that she would clean the other one, but I was so furious that I said I'll tweeze it myself at home, paid (no tip) and left. Before I left she also wiped my eyebrow with some wet towelette, idk what was on it, but my skin burned. Later that day I tweezed them myself and covered the thinning part with make up. When I went to rinse/wash my face off in the evening I noticed that my eyebrow was beginning to welt up. I washed the spot again and it burned like hell. The next day I noticed scarring. Safe to say, I will not be returning because I didn't pay to have my skin torn up. read more

came in during my lunch break. The usual woman did my eyebrows but instead of it being $7, it is now $8. She goes, " we raised it by $1 in beginning of October". I came here twice in the beginning and mid October and it was $7 but okie dokie... the price is now $8. read more

I've been to other Perfect Brows locations in the city but after visiting this one, it's my favorite. Eyebrow threading ($7) is great! The place is clean and new with plenty of space, unlike a lot of other threading spots in the area. Although one of the women working there was a tad pushy (I was peeking in from outside and she came outside nearly pulled me into the building...), the staff was nice and did a great job on my mom and i's eyebrows. Will be back again! read more

I love across the street and have been going here on and off...i came in around 7:35 and was hastily rushed in a chair by a women who had her coat on getting ready to leave...she was very aggressive with my eyes brows didn't ask anything about how I wanted them done and then repeated to say we are closing you need to come earlier next time (you close at 8) and said it three times...she didn't even show me my eyebrows after and threw aloe on me then was rude when I paid and didn't even tell me the price. My eyebrows do not match and are not what I wanted...I will not be back and will be going in tomorrow to complain. Your closing time is 8pm therefore you need to stay until 8.... read more
