You hear Volvo ads all the time promoting their 'upgradeable to 10 year VIP warranty' but I am here to tell you, it is only talk. Blahblahblah is all I got. My wife bought a loaded 2020 Volvo S60 AWD T6 Inscription, Polestar tuned car, in Jan of 2021. Certified with 3,500 miles off corporate lease, it had a five year VIP warranty. However, the warranty Expired Oct 15, 2024 as that was that was 5 years from the 'in service date;' yet neither Volvo nor the servicing dealer here in town Alan Byer Volvo, ever gave us notice of expiration nor an offer to renew, which we would have willingly done. Thinking about it running out soon, I reached out at the end of Oct. and was originally told OK. A week later I got a revised email saying: 'sorry, two weeks too late' to renew the warranty on her 24,000 mile car with no accidents, incidents or missed service appointments. Volvo corporate in turn referred me Back to Alan Byer. What nonsense. So now any interest we had in a 2025 or 2026 Recharge or XC upgrade has now become a Tesla, Audi or Lexus search. After owning maybe a dozen Volvos over my life, this will be our last. In researching this issue, I discovered Volvo is now owned by the Chinese Geely Holding Group. Shame what their fine name has become.

I drove him crazy but he was like a best friend. He had my existing car evaluated. Thank you Doran for the super fast service. They put the deal together for me and gave me options. Do you know how refreshing it is to not have to go to a car dealership and feel pressured. I never felt pressured, and I never felt like my back was to the wall. They allowed me to steer the ship. I didn't even have to go in with the exception of them getting final evaluation on my existing trade. When time to pick up the car. Wadie took the delivery with Ross to another level. I Thought I had gotten everything out of the car. Wadie saved me as he retrieved my wife's sunglasses, which I forgotten, were up in the visor as well as my ez pass. He reviewed the features with me on my car. The paperwork took me probably all about 10 minutes and I was on my way. I am happily driving my new vehicle from Friendly Honda. And I am happy to be a second time customer and definitely keep coming back.

That long-standing trust is exactly why we turned to them again during a stressful and unexpected situation. Earlier this year, we had the engine replaced on our 2014 Crosstrek at a dealership in North Carolina. Unfortunately, we never received the full picture regarding the true condition of the vehicle. After returning to that dealership twice with ongoing issues after the engine replacement, we ultimately decided--just before Christmas--to drive back home to CNY to get a second opinion from Romano Subaru. That decision made all the difference. Romano's team was honest and thorough in diagnosing the vehicle, and it became clear that the Crosstrek was no longer worth repairing. As a result, we ended up purchasing a 2025 Impreza, and we could not be happier with both the vehicle and the experience. We want to sincerely thank Dave Romano, Mark Richardson, Ryan Collins, and Karli Tirado for going above and beyond for our family. Dave worked hard to get us the best possible deal, especially considering this was an unexpected purchase during the holiday season. Mark was fantastic on the sales side and made the process smooth, even helping coordinate registration for Texas. Karli worked tirelessly to ensure our registration and plates were handled efficiently and correctly.
