I called 3 TIMES over the next 10 days to have it corrected, and all 3 times they blew-me-off because "they were too busy". First time, I was told "we're really busy, and to call tomorrow", next time I was told to "drop it-off and they would fit it in sometime that day or the next". And today I was told they "were busy, to drop it off and they would try to get it done today". I asked if I could just wait for it while they did the work, and was told "maybe they can get it done in a couple hours"! It's basically a "15-minute fix" that SHOULD have been completed when they did the work in the first place! This is BS! My advice is to NOT go here. They seem to have their priorities mixed-up. I already paid for my service/repair, and that DOESN'T mean bringing it back to have it done right.

They we're always respectful and detailed. If they found issues while I was at home, they would call me, tell me, give me the option if I want them to fix it. My quotes always matched my bill. I tend to ask a lot of questions because that's how I learn. They took me to my car and showed me the issue. Then showed me what it SHOULD look like, no car place ever did that. I had a new found respect for them after they did that. I always do my research no matter what the situation is. That way, I know what to ask and to expect.

When I asked for a breakdown of the bill, he said $200 for labor & $1500 for parts. I then told him that I would need an itemized bill for the parts. He in turn started to say that he does not do that & that I would not get the same price for parts that he does. He proceeded to turn the cost around and say it was for a warranty. I said that I did not opt in for a warranty nor was I offered the option to opt in or out for one. He then said, "Ok, you can buy the parts, and I will charge you $400 in labor." The scam is real. i rate the burdick mazda service dept. zero!!!! i have bought 6 mazdas from Burdick through the…read moreyears. i. brought my mazda 3 in for service on 9/2/26 and was told it would be $200 for a diagnostic check. we told them specific things we wanted them to look at. one was a shaking of the car when we went about 50 mph. we got the diagnostic check on my phone and it showed some things it needed, but there was no shaking when they test drove it. but later when we talked to the mechanic on phone he said well yeah, there was shaking. they were to fix a valve which is why the check engine light was on and it needed a caliper to stop the shaking. (???) they were to do an inspection also. we told them not to do the valve because way too expensive, we would bring it somewhere else for that. they said they could still do the inspection once the caliper was put on. Well yesterday (9/10/26) we called and said you've had the car for a long time. if it wasn't ready today we were just going to pick it up anyway. well they called and said it would be done today (9/11/26). we picked it up and for $700.00 all they did was the one caliper and balanced the front tire. could not do the inspection because we didn't have them put the valve on (for $950.00 but a certified mechanic can do it for $250 including labor). big difference. they told us they COULD do the inspection now they are saying they couldn't. i am so mad!!!! 6 mazdas i've purchased through Burdick mazda and i will never buy another one from them.
