    My new car.

When my current car started needing repairs that cost more than it was worth I knew it was time to look for a new car . After a lot of research I decided to go to Romeo Subaru . That was yesterday and I drove home with a beautiful 2025 Crosstrek. I absolutely love this car . Everybody was so amazing to deal with. Everyone took their time and explaining things to me and made the experience totally enjoyable one . I want to especially thank my salesman , Tyler O'Brien . He made it such a fun experience from the minute I walked in the door . Everyone from the general manager to the finance department they were professional and knowledgeable and made it just a wonderful experience . If you are looking for a new car do not hesitate to go to Romeo Subaru in Saratoga Springs . My car will never go anywhere else for service because I trust the service department as much as the sales department . Sincerely a happy new Subaru Crosstrek owner Gayle Balfoort.

I never thought I'd say this about a car dealership, but my wife and I absolutely LOVED our entire experience here! We went to 6 different dealerships before this to test out which SUV we liked best, and we had so many terrible experiences. The other dealerships were either rude, pushy, didn't know anything about the cars they were trying sell, wouldn't answer our texts, or would straight up try to scam us. We had so much dealership anxiety leading up to our visit to Romano Subaru, but within 5 minutes of walking in, we were floored at how much better we felt from just being there. Right off the bat, the dealership was super clean, cozy, and felt like somewhere we could relax in (so many other places feel like museums or fancy libraries and are just so uncomfortable to wait in). Everyone we spoke to was SO nice, helpful, and genuine! We primarily worked with our sales guy, Joe Barry, who was honestly one of the kindest people we have ever met. He was super knowledgeable about the car we were looking at, didn't act pushy or try to upsell us on unnecessary features we weren't interested in, did great getting together all the paperwork, but most importantly, he made us feel comfortable and cared for. He is so kind, honest, and personable, and felt like someone we've known for years. Subaru Joe has become a household name for us now. He deserves a raise, a hug, and a sale every day for the rest of his career. We also worked with Nael, who handled our financial stuff, and was also extremely friendly and fun to talk to! He was so honest and supportive of us deciding to finance with our military bank when we found out they could give us a special, super low APR. It was such a breath of fresh air to not feel like we had to walk on pins and needles to avoid being shamed into scammy deals. That being said though, Subaru still offers amazing rates and if I hadn't been offered the special military rate from our bank, I would have happily gone with Subaru's financing program. Subaru also offers some amazing military discounts on other fronts though, so don't be afraid to ask if that applies to you! Honestly I never thought we'd be Subaru people, but we are absolutely in love with our new car and in love with this dealership... I think we are sold on being Subaru customers for life.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. My sales experience was generally good. I felt like the rep I bought the car from was kind and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want. Not so much can be said for the sales rep that outright ignored my presence at another Subaru dealership I went to first. I custom ordered a Forester because there was no stock to be had and it arrived about a month earlier than promised, so no complaints there. Finance department...typical finance bros. Service department...friendly enough but they damaged my 6 month old car that didn't have a scratch on it when I dropped it off. Picked it up and whoever parked it had bumped the concrete base of a sign in the parking lot and scuffed my bumper. It's on the plastic part so it can't even be buffed out. The scuff matched up perfectly with the location on the concrete, it was 100% something they did and I noticed it immediately because the car was suspiciously close to the sign, but they denied it when I said something. Yeah it's small, but this is the first brand new car I have ever owned, I paid a lot for it, and I was hoping to keep it scratch free for at least a little longer. Nothing can be done about it now, I'm just a little miffed about it.

Thanks for getting me back to my wife and son

I still had my receipt and packaging so the employee on duty made it good with a replacement. Fast forward a week or so. The replacement part went bad. I work a lot and don't get a chance to tend to things when I need to all the time. Such is life. A few weeks later I went back to Advance Auto. This time I did not have my receipt. I had disposed of it thinking it wasn't necessary after the part was replaced. Silly me. The initial encounter with an employee wasn't too promising. No receipt or record in their computer of my purchase since I didn't give my phone number at the time of purchase didn't bode well for me. The guy was just doing his job and following protocol so I have no issue with him. I did ask to see the manager to plead my case. Ron was the manager on duty. I gave him all the details of my problem and had him inspect the part so he could see it was in like new condition and I wasn't trying to scam him.God knows people try! Ron gave the whole situation careful consideration. I don't blame him. When all was said and done the bad part was replaced at no cost to me. For the second time mind you. I will remember Ron's courteousness and making things right for me when I need other automotive products in the future. It's easy and common for people to whine and complain when things don't go their way. Remember to say something nice when things do work out. Thanks again Ron!

Title: Extremely Dishonest and Unsafe Service -- Please Avoid This Location…read more This review is for Firestone Complete Auto Care at 711 Erie Blvd E, Syracuse, NY. In January 2024, I brought my car to this Firestone location because my tail lights kept failing and I had a brake fluid leak. The older white male manager with grey hair inspected my car and told me that both rear brake calipers were seized, which he claimed was causing the brake fluid leak. He also said that a steering linkage connected to my left front wheel was "about to come off" and that it was "very dangerous." He then gave me a repair estimate of over $2,300, including replacing the two rear calipers, replacing the steering part, replacing all four brake pads, flushing brake fluid, and even replacing all four tires. I refused the unnecessary tire replacement, and he lowered the estimate to around $1,500, which I unfortunately agreed to. However, after the repair: The brake fluid leak continued, The steering still felt loose, And soon afterward, my steering completely failed, leaving me stranded at night. I had to call AAA and tow the car to another repair shop. The technician at the second shop inspected the vehicle and told me: Firestone never replaced the steering linkage they charged me for, They never replaced the two rear brake calipers they charged me for, They only replaced the brake pads, And they charged roughly double the normal market price for the parts they actually installed. In other words, this Firestone location charged me for major safety-related repairs that they did not perform. This is not just poor service -- it is dishonest, unsafe, and extremely dangerous. If the steering failure had happened at higher speeds, the consequences could have been disastrous. I strongly warn anyone considering this shop: Avoid this Firestone location at 711 Erie Blvd E. If you cannot personally watch the repair process, your safety and your wallet may be at risk.

They were the last ones that took the tire off. I didn't need new lug nuts then. Basically they won't do anything unless I buy lug nuts at $14.99 each. Never will I go to Firestone again. The worst.
