I highly recommend this company if you are in need of help! Both the owner who I spoke with on the phone and the tech he sent out were incredibly caring and kind. They helped me through a really tough afternoon after losing the key to my rental car. The car was very new and it was tough to make a new key but the tech never gave up. When things were looking grim he offered solutions and it felt like he genuinely cared about us. He even called the next day to make sure everything was ok and see if we needed anything. I am writing this review of 1st Choice Locksmith (Denver area) first to say a big thank you to Henry from 1st Choice for all he did for me today. I had a wallet stolen with my spare car key, id, etc, so I had no choice but to try to find a professional locksmith to fully re-key my car. Had a wonderful experience with this company! I was locked out of a gun safe that was bolted down in a closet. Out of all the locksmiths I called, these guys were able to respond within 24 hours. They worked their bits off to get us into the safe. We apologized for the complicated set up and they just laughed and responded that they enjoyed the challenged. My experience with 1st Choice was above exceptional. I lost my first VW remote 6 years ago, then misplaced my second car key w/remote just before August. I figured my valet key would be fine for use. Unfortunately, because I dropped the key repeatedly over time, the chip in the valet key became inert. Unfortunately over time, due to the damage I inflicted, the car wouldn't start, because the engine didn't recognize the key, I needed a new key reprogrammed fast. I called my local VW dealer and another German auto repair company, but they wanted to charge me diagnosis fees, a new remote fee, then said it may take up to a week to resolve it. I'm from Snowmass, in Denver, without almost 250 miles away from home without relatives etc.. in a parking garage that bills by the hour. So in addition to having to spend upwards of $750, additionally I was going to have to pay for a hotel. First of all, it's rare to find a locksmith that can reprogram a 2007 VW key, because of the expensive equipment and licensing, second it hard to find someone that can do it on the same day. 1st choice diagnosed the problem, gave me a price (completely reasonable), and a second key free of charge. The tech advised me when he would arrive, he was on time, treated my dog well, and got me back on the road in just under 2 hours, while saving me hundreds of additional dollars. This guy is a dream!!! I wouldn't recommend anyone else!!! I have burned his number in my phone and won't call anybody else for locksmith services and with my luck lord knows I'll need him again!!!
