I love the service at this location..This time I went to replace my tires. Ttey actually had ordered my tires the day before and had them for me the next day. wheel alignment is pricey for a 1 time.is 110 for it, but lifetime was 189 with discount. I cannot give 5 stars because I was charged for tire warranty without my knowledge. Only noticed when i got home and looked at the receipt with detail, so not a good look with that. This place is an absolute joke. I brought my car in for a simple tire patch and was told it would take 1-2 hours. After 3 hours with no update, I called and was told it still wasn't done and they'd call me when it was. Five hours later, I'm finally informed that they can't patch the tire and I need a brand new one--at a ridiculously overpriced cost. Completely incompetent and a total waste of time. Excellent customer service. Stopped in for a new set of tires. The tires I needed were not in stock. They arranged a transfer from another store and scheduled an appointment for when they arrived. I arrived for my appointment on time, they swapped out my new tires for the old, performed a wheel alignment and I was on my way in under 2 hours. You can't complain with results like that. In short: Firestone= $173.78 .....DIY= $23.62. Service Adviser Juan warned that Sara, our loyal Toyota Solara, needed long overdue work. Three hours into Sara's oil change (even with an appointment) Juan with eyebrows in crisis mode said the oil change was way overdue not asking if we did it elsewhere (we did - much cheaper) in the meantime. They always tighten the oil pan lug nut so you can't get it off. He also warned we would never pass inspection and printed out what had to be done. It added up to just $173.78. Not so fast, Juan. See attached receipt: I got a Purolator filter at Advanced Auto Parts for $18.99 ($34 from Firestone's supplier, you think they would get a bulk rate). You can get them for less elsewhere or simply vacuum out and replace the old one. Also bought STP Fuel Injector Treatment for $2.99 and did it all in less than 10 minutes. read more

I went to this Firestone when I got run flat tire. I arrived the store around 1pm then they give a quote about $450 for two tires which I feel fair price. So I told them okay do it and they told me should be done around 1-2hours. But! After 2 hours 3pm I saw my car still outside and then went to front desk to check status, after that the guy who went to back and told me will do it soon, and asking me pay first with $800 up total. I asked you give me a quote for $450 at beginning why now become to $800 ? He told me all of the hide charges then. I choose give them nothing and left. I left my car due to brake problems and they told me it was a problem with the alternator, when they changed it all the lights would go off, (everything is recorded) they supposedly changed it and charged me $1,500 dollars and returned the car with the same lights on and they told me that I had to take it to the dealer because they don't fix the brake lights. So why didn't they say that from the beginning? These people stole my money because they called me that my case had been denied. so don't trust them they are scammer!!! read more

This firestone is by far top 3 on my list in NY. The customer service was AMAZING. I had to wait roughly 90 minutes for an oil change but well worth it. I also picked up some windshield wipers too, just in time for the crazy NYC weather. I would suggest calling before you arrive to book an appointment. That's what I did :) read more

Ok place, They tend to take about 20 minutes adding suggestions to your bill that I am not sure you need. One of the guys at the desk is not very friendly. He isn't rude, it just that you ask him stuff and he basically ignores you or is short...seems like he would rather be somewhere else...not customer friendly. read more

This firestone is super clean and well maintained. There's 10 spots in the garage, so there were no issues getting in and out. Techs are professional and efficient and the guys at the counter were friendly and eager to help. There's a TV and coffee on the waiting area along with nearby stores so waiting for my car was no issue. There are coupons for oil changes and tires, just google it or ask about a promotion. Tires are anywhere from $80 to $179 depending on the size (size of the tire is written on the tire, the tire may need a key.) I also liked that listed their environmental mission statement. read more

update on my " $5,300.00 " repair . I had taken my car to a friend of mine that finally had found some time to work on my car . He's an excellent mechanic and has cars lined up to be repaired . He checked everything out to pinpoint the noise it was making ( Not like Firestone that wanted to change every part under the hood and eventually would have solved the problem ). after changing 2 parts and 3 hours working on my car he completed the job . parts was $434.00 and his labor the whole job costed me $780.00 !! This is the worst auto shop I have been to. My appointment to replace tires was at 4pm. They had me wait for an hour before they could start working on my car, because they needed to finish work on other cars. I asked them why they didn't call me beforehand, so that I could have come in at a later time or reschedule. They didn't think wasting an hour of my time is a big deal and were not apologetic at all. If they had just said 3 and a half hours I would've been okay with it. Set your customer's expectations more realistically. Ordered tires and confirmed with two employees they would arrive for my scheduled install 3 days later. Showed up, and guess what? No tires. No calls. They said: I guess the order didn't go through (wtf?). But I need new tires and want this specific Firestone model so I put the order in again. Come for the install exactly on time at 9 am. Appointments mean nothing because my tires weren't installed until noon. They put the car on the alignment machine for the free alignment check that comes with new tires. I had my car aligned very recently but knew one bolt (to adjust rear camber) had come loose since and I predicted that one wheel would need the camber adjusted. First guy says "they don't adjust camber here, only toe and caster". I'm sorry, but if you know anything about alignments this is hilarious and scary at the same time. A manager clarified and told me that one employee didn't know what he was taking about. I ask them to adjust that one bolt but they want to charge me for the full alignment. Come on guys. Then they want to charge me for the free alignment check. Both managers start giving me guilt trips about their new $50k purchase of a new alignment machine. Seriously, you get to over charge me a because the owner/corporate entity (no you!) made a typical investment? You losers didn't purchase the machine personally. Things broke down from there. Both managers blew up and exhibited zero customer service skills in the process. I left without the camber adjusted, of course. And just when you thought it was over, I get on the highway and the tires are out of balance!!!! Will be contacting corporate for sure. Best experience I've had at an auto center!! So very glad I found this gem !! I was there this past Tuesday for a few hours doing multiple things to my car and watched Julia Ortiz and Brandon handle a multitude of calls and walk ins as consummate professionals. They were very helpful and very friendly (even when some customers were being a little difficult) I had my ac start blowing out hot air during one of our heatwaves here in New York city. I had had the system flushed previously by another location and was told to go back to any Firestone if there were any issues because they put a dye in to check for leaks. Out of desperation, I stopped in to see if they could fit me in. Julia was so so so very helpful! As a woman, I love seeing female automotive professionals, you go girl!! :) She was incredibly knowledgeable and guided me through what was going on with my car. I never felt rushed or pressured into services. She explained the costs before anything and kept me informed along the way. Also great that she speaks Spanish too! I was so happy with the quality of the service, I even replaced my tires at the same visit! The waiting area was very comfortable, good coffee, and good tv. There's a vending machine for drinks and I was super surprised by how clean the bathroom was (even has a changing table). I will definitely be back to take care of all of my automotive needs! These guys didnt replace an air filter that they charged me for. Then the mechanic Chris tried telling me i need new ball joints to do the alignment. My father was a mechanic for Ford for 25 years so him and i jacked up the car and there is nothing wrong with the ball joints. They wanted to charge me $750 for new ball joints. Well I will never be back to this location, seems the waiting area is under renovations so the customers are forced to wait outside under a makeshift tent in 95 degree weather. No big deal I understand, renovations need to be made. What really gets me is that the workers and management had a nice air conditioned area that is right next to the tent which they come in and out and make sure to double lock. Well I least we the customers get the ever so light cool breeze every time the door opens. They do only what is necessary and keep you posted regarding progress and any additional issues discovered. They are all polite and knowledgable. Clean waiting area with wi-fi. Went with my wife for an oil change. We were willing to wait. When we came in the gentleman who greeted us asked how he could help us. My wife stated she needed an oil change. He shook his head no and said it was impossible. That they were not taking any more customers because they were left with a skeleton crew. It was 5pm in the afternoon and they are open until 7pm. We were willing to leave the car wait anything. He didn't want anymore new customers. He then told us that they were too busy the next day, Thursday that if we wanted he could squeeze us into the schedule on Friday. Very disappointed in the service and the willingness to try to get new customers. Will never be returning to any type of Firestone place again. I got a flat tire and made an appointment online the next morning to get it fixed. I brought them my tire and they showed me what was wrong with it and then they fixed it for $30. Overall it was 30-40 minutes and they got the tire from my car and put it back in. I've been driving for a couple days and it hasn't given me any problems since. You would think that their forte or Niche is tires - WRONG ! Besides brakes and inspections they perform a lot of intermediate maintenance as well. Due to their honesty and diligence they keep a very strong customer base so it's generally busy ! But, guess what they honor appointments ! And I highly suggest you call ahead for one ! It's as easy as getting off your facebook or twitter page and dialing a few digits. Now if you go in on your own , then depending on the jobs that came in before YOU , YOU will get out Of there in a timely manner. They quote wait times for free ! if it's not to your liking then by all means get a future appointment It's as easy as asking for it . I come here from the Bronx and I trust them to do maintenance on my Infiniti , Pathfinder, Accord and Veracruz. Tires,Brakes, batteries , alignments and quite a bit of electronics work as well, SENSORS TOO ! They discovered a module trouble on my Pathfinder that the darn dealer charged me over $800 and did not fix it ! I took my Fx to Infiniti for engine work , they gave me back the car and sent me on my way at a cost of $425 . 3 weeks later I show up at Firestone for a full synthetic oil change , they take the car and immediately call me over All kinds of stuff was loose or not bolted back in place ! wow, well they did me the favor and clamped or secured what needed to be done. That should not have happened but it did , glad nothing got in between the belts while I was driving. Finally , they are human for the most part they start their day at 6:AM or earlier so as to get into their place at 7:Am. Have some darn consideration and don't come in at 5pm and get upset because they could not stop the jobs they Committed till 7pm so that you can just walk in and get your oil changed. This place is horrible. First off please do not go there at least 2 hours before they close, because they will not take you. I've made three attempts to get oil change service done on my vehicle and they have denied me service every time. I believe that all of the employees there intentionally leave work early so they can hit happy hour at the Buffalo Wild Wings next door. And they have the perfect nuisance at the front desk, a short dark haired young girl with no compassion or facial expressions as she sarcastically listens to you but then rudely denies you service.
