Right before the busy Memorial Day weekend, they squeezed my mom's car in last-minute for her registration and an oil change, getting her in and out incredibly fast. They are fast, honest, and offer outstanding service. Do yourself a favor and use this shop--they are a true hidden gem!

They patched the tire quickly, were polite, professional, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. What really stood out was that I had previously gone to Mavis in Queens Village for the SAME issue and was told I needed TWO new tires. My car is only 8 months old! Cross Island Tires took care of the actual problem with a simple patch and had me back on the road. Fast, honest, efficient, and no nonsense. Exactly what you want from a tire shop. And a special shoutout to Jay -- he was the best! Friendly, helpful, and made the whole thing ridiculously easy. I'll definitely be coming here from now on. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival I was greeted like an big time customer by all who I met, as it is a big shop with a number of Mechanics working on cars and big trucks. They got right to the problem resulting having to order a hard to get part. A few days later I returned, met a few more mechanics, one who worked on the problem, resolved it is a short time and I was on my way. The surprise to me Martins has been in business 45 years,as I have passed the place many times, they are professional, knowledgeable and very nice to do business with. He has helped me resolve every mechanical problem with 4 different cars over these years. Because this is a very busy shop, I always try to make an appointment in advance and show up with a printed list of concerns, a completion time request, and a further request that he call before working on anything that is significant in time and cost. I always go through my list with Nick or his son, Kevin. If there are expensive repairs, Nick usually gives me alternatives that meet my budget. Over the 15 years, this approach has never disappointed me. When emergencies arise, I always have AAA tow my car to Nick's for a rapid response that is reasonable in cost. Nick's will have my business as long as I own cars and he is in business.

I selected those tires to take advantage of the rebate. When I arrived at the shop, I once again asked and was told yes, my tires were eligible. When the work was finished, I paid by credit card. And again I asked about the rebate. The manager even printed out the sheet on how to get the rebate I was entitled to. When I attempted to get my $80 rebate, I was notified I was not eligible because I didn't use a Goodyear credit card. Why was I told several times I would be getting the $80 rebate??? Mavis Tire Corporate has ignored 4 emails. That is more telling than their misleading and deceptive advertising. Clearly I will never use them again for any service. Buyer beware because customer service couldn't care less. Thief's and deceptive advertising online and at their shop!
