First sign of bad things to come should've been when it took 2 weeks to get my vehicle back . Once I finally got it I discovered 2 NEW issues it didn't have before it went in.I spoke to Jan and heard a lot of excuses . First item was the hood of my car. Before going in the hood stayed up with no issue. Right after getting it back it no longer stayed up . Jan's excuse was that it was old and the cold outside affected that. What kind of BS is that ? My car is in great condition cosmetically for an older car . Suddenly my truck also developed air suspension issues. Anyone with these trucks knows that is a costly job. Mind you my truck which was driven there just 2 weeks before didn't have that issue . No signs of that issue. I can understand one issue but 2 issues seems very iffy. When I called to ask if he'd reprogrammed the air suspension he didn't know about it and admitted he didn't have the equipment . It was a waste of time as I got my car back with the same issues since he refused to acknowledge he'd somehow ruined the hydraulic things that hold the hood open and had the audacity to try to charge me to fix them to boot. Now my mistake was taking my truck back the second time thinking he could make good on those issues. This was before knowing that he didn't have the equipment necessary to fix it and also because I'd mistakenly thought he'd left out a plastic piece in front of the radiator. This is where it gets iffy because he then tells me that the airbag has a leak on the left side . I am very upset because I now being quoted $1200 by another shop to repair this new issue .An issue my car didn't have before and now does alongside the hood issue. 2 new issues after getting my vehicle back over 2 weeks later .I want to save someone else a headache . I can't wait to be rid of this truck because I think i've met every shiesty repair person on L.I when needing repairs . BMWs require specialized repair by people familiar with German cars and if you have an older one AND are a female you have 2 strikes against you from the start . You might as well be handing out free money...
