They recommended T & D and Tony was able to provide me with a container of the paint. For such a small job, Tony took the time to come outside, survey the car and even offered to put a clear coat on after my touch up. It is refreshing to see such customer service in this day and age. I would highly recommend Tony and T & D to anyone who needs his services.

My dad was spray painting an object 6 feet away from his car on a windy day. Long story short, the overspray got all over his brand-new car. To make things worse he took acetone to the car to remove it (per the advice of a store associate). Alberto looked at the car and said no problem. I left the car with him and 5 days later, I swear my dad's car was brand-new. It looked better than when we picked up the car from the dealer. I have been going to Alberto for years and his professionalism and crew has never once changed, and the quality of work is the best. Thank you, Alberto and your Crew.

Over the past few months, I went to Jonathan & Son's for minor repairs and servicing...with no complaints. Work was done properly and exceeded my expectations. Ronnie (the owner) serviced my Range Rover as if I were at the dealer. (Based on my past negative experiences with the local RR dealer, I decided to take the risk and trust a local shop that I had no prior dealings with.) He fixed my coolant leak (RR are known for), fixed my air suspension issues (RR are known for) and a few other mechanical and electrical issues (RR are known for lol). One visit, he detected the dreaded Vanos knock and told me that the engine is going to die...literally, and soon. About one month later, he was spot on with his assessment. At the time the Rover died and at the side of the road, I called him and within the half hour, he was there with his tow truck and brought me back to his shop. He explained to me what my options were and I decided to go for a complete engine rebuild from the ground up. I sourced the engine for him, purchasing a Rover off auction, he took delivery of the parts car and he stripped both RR's down completely and swapped the engine. It was about a 2-3 week project and every day, he would call me and send me photos of the stages of the project. Simply amazing the level of customer support he provided me and eased my concerns each step of the way. Finally, the day came when I picked the vehicle up...it ran perfectly. Still does. Actually, it is quieter and runs better than my old engine. I didn't think he could pull it off, since it was a small, two man shop, but man, was I wrong. Now he services both of my Rovers and my subaru (since I do not like the local fubaru dealer at all) and will service all my cars in the future. So yea, I had the worst case scenario happen to my vehicle and it now is perfect. His second mechanic and his secretary are both amazing to work with. Don't do anywhere but here. Trust me. I used to be a customer of Jonathan & Son literally 40 years ago when they had a location in Great Neck. For some reason, in all the years I've lived in the Glen Cove/Oyster Bay area I was unaware that the same family had an auto repair business here. I had driven past it a thousand times and it just never registered. I was fortunate to rediscover them after all these years, because not only is the price and quality of their service still every bit as excellent as I'd remembered, but they are as friendly and affable as I recalled. In an instant, Jonathan and Son has once again become MY auto repair place. If you're smart, you'll make it yours too.
