Horrible! DO NOT GO HERE! They rob people and do not know how to fix cars! My car was in an accident and they were the closest auto body shop! They said it would take 3 days but once they knew the insurance was covering it turned into two weeks! They car ended up nit being fixed properly! When i confronted them they blamed me and said i broke the car! They then charged my insurance another set of money to fix their screw up on my car! read more

Vehicle involved in a hit and run needed the passenger side door replaced. Was referred through Geico. Brought my vehicle in for inspection and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Parts arrived next day and they kept me updated every step of the way. Picked up my vehicle cleaner than i had left it which was greatly appreciated. GEICO recommended Barron to me. Their adjuster is right on the premises. I went there for a small repair. They promptly made an appraisal and Darrin from Barron Auto Body told me that parts would be needed and that they would notify me when they came in. They did notify me and did a great job on the repair. Everyone there was courteous and professional. I had an additional job done there also. It, too, was done well. A good body shop. I returned to Barron's to have a few small dings pulled out of my Mazda. It could have been an expensive job, but Darrin proposed a cheaper alternative. They completed the job at a very reasonable price in less than 2 hours. The car was washed and they even gave me a fresh bottle of touch up paint ( my paint finish had faded and my touch up paint would not have matched well). They have repaired two of my vehicle and the attention has been excellent. The owner took care of me and treated me with kindness. I received one of the cars with a scratch and the owner apologized and promised the car for the next day and he did. Not only did they remove the scratch, but they removed all of my dings and left the car like showroom new. They even provided me with touch up paint for each car. Take advantage of the situations. My daughter had a car accident in Garden City. I wanted to call AAA because we pay this service and the police told me that only they can call at there own list of towings to pick up the car. Then this guys came, picked up the car and they charged $364 dollars for towed the car from garden city to Mineola. This is an abuse. When I asked why they said that is what the town and the police charge. Can you believe this?? I am very mad but I didn t hav a choice, only pay to this robbers. !!!!!!! I got rear ended and needed a new bumper. I was recommended to take it to Barron body works to fix it up. Ken first helped me out and told me how we're going to go about it. Very detailed and made it clear and simple. Not only was it good priced but also said it should only take a day or two. Two days later got a call to pick it up and it was like picking up a brand new car. They also helped out by touching up the paint a little. Very respectful guys and great business men. I was involved in a fender bender the day after a snow storm with damage to my rear bumper and undercarriage. The other driver took responsibility and I choose Barron as suggested by his insurance and from other people's recommendations. Ken assessed the damage in about 15 minutes, had the parts within a week, and had my car back to me within 24 hours. This was faster than Ken had promised. He also arranged for the rental car to pick me up at the shop. My car looked brand new because they also washed, vacuumed and waxed the tires! Stay away from this place and take your money somewhere else. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The staff working, especially Ken is rude, not friendly, very defensive, and sarcastic. My vehicle was dropped off to be repaired and when I went to go pick it up, it was damaged in the front of the car while the repair being done was to the rear bumper. Upon pick up, the car wasn't washed and Ken drove it out of his 10-foot lot and scratched the whole bottom of the front bumper. I then brought it back to them to be fixed and they made it worse. I was then told multiple times "that after an accident a car will never be the same." However, until today I still do not understand why the front of my vehicle was touched if it was there just to put a new bumper. No one has an explanation, all they did was look at each other and say "I don't know." Tom from Geico was only good for running away from the situation. Don't let Tom's personality fool you. If you want your car to be damaged more, take it to Barron Body Works. read more
