The next day, I came back for the alignment and sat there for almost an hour, only to be told they couldn't do it because I supposedly needed lower control arm work first. But here's the kicker, they ALSO told me I needed two new tires. Two new tires...the same two tires I had literally purchased FROM THEM the day before. When I pointed that out, the guy's face said everything. Instead of approving any repairs, I took my car to the dealership where my warranty is and had them perform a complete suspension inspection. They found NOTHING wrong with my suspension or the lower arm bar control and no reason the alignment couldn't be done. What makes this even more concerning is that when I told a coworker what happened, she said her daughter had a very similar experience at this same place. I can only speak to my experience, but it left me feeling like they assumed I wouldn't question what I was being told or know enough about my own vehicle to challenge it. Maybe they thought because I'm a woman, I'd simply agree to whatever repairs they recommended. Always get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive repairs. I'm very glad I did. 09/24/25 update. My warranty service was able to do my alignment without any problems. Imagine that!

5 Stars - Honest and Reliable…read more Texas Tire has earned my trust. They've had more than one opportunity to charge me for expensive repairs--but instead, they chose honesty. For example, I thought I needed a full TPMS sensor replacement, but they quickly diagnosed the real issue and let me know that a simple patch would do the trick. That kind of integrity is rare. G was especially respectful and professional throughout the process. I highly recommend Texas Tire to anyone looking for fair pricing and dependable service.

One guy messed with the sensors then a manager came and told me all of a sudden my sensors went out. I told him that's very interesting because they were working fine before they messed with them. He claimed that since my truck is over 10 years old that usually components start needing to be replaced. I told them I wouldn't be replacing them today and left. I knew they were trying to take advantage of me. When I got home I realized they also took off my tire air caps on all four tires. I happen to have an uncle that's been a mechanic for a long time and he said they were definitely scamming me. When I did finally get my tires replaced a few months later with another company, the guy turned my tire sensors on, no problem and they worked fine. Horrible work ethic and even worse integrity.

The place was jam packed which was a little discouraging, but when you need tires, you wait. Lol Prices have gone up all over the country and this place is no different. If I'm going to have to spend the money anyway, this location is the place to come....why, let me tell you.... The PEOPLE, quality work, and the service! I must give a special shoutout to Christian who gave me honest answers, recommendations, and overall excellent service. Shop Coordinator named Cody also went above and beyond for me! I pass atleast 4 tire shops to come to this location and there is a reason. They are awesome!! I guess everyone else figured it out as well because the place was packed like it was a Saturday not a Monday. At this location they go above and beyond! The wait was over 2 hours, however, I told them I had to leave to pick my kids up from school by a certain time and they made sure to get me out! Now that's service! I give 4 stars because of the long wait, no place to sit upon arrival, and the price increase. If I was rating service only it would be 10 stars!! I went into the NTB shop on North Tarrant Parkway and spoke with Jordan. I don't know much about tires, but I knew my tread was at 6/32". I figured I would go ahead and get a new set to take advantage of the sale and rebate. Jordan took the time to check all four tires and assured me they were still in good condition--likely good for another two months depending on how I drive. He explained that NTB typically recommends replacement when tread reaches 4/32". Jordan could have easily taken my money, but instead he was honest, patient, and informative.
