Yesterday I took my car in for a tire rotation and oil change. I was there for almost 2 1/2 hours and was told I needed new brakes (they where just changed a month ago) and I needed new tires (they are also less than a month old and they are Firestone tires). I was already annoyed because of waiting for so long, and then when they where trying to up sell for things that didn't need to be fixed was more annoying. Need less to say I won't be going back there. read more

FYI: An appointment means just a time to drop off your car. In my situation the 1-1.5 hr stated wait time ended up being over 5 hours. The standard "Oh, we are busy today" was all I got. No apology, no interest or concern from employees. Mostly impatience. No promised call with a notification that the car was ready. Most of the day to get two new tires and an alignment. This place was awesome. Took my car to Winchester in the morning to get a quote on my car spoke to manager in the morning told me latest to bring in car is before 5pm. Brought car back a 445pm to change 4 tires. Other Manager there told me it was to late can't do it. Very disappointed. Called Firestone Margarita Manager told to bring my car down and he would accommodate me and change all my tires. Even if it meant having one of his employees stay late. We were in a bind and needed a flat repaired today on a Sunday afternoon for our mother in law's car who was here from out of town. Well, the nail was too close to the edge so we needed to buy 2 new tires. Angela sent us a text picture of the tire so we could see it. However it was an odd size and they did not have any in stock nor did any of the other Firestones nearby. However, Angela went way out of her way and was able to locate 2 tires, get them picked up and still installed before 5pm on Sunday. There is no way that anyone else in Temecula would have been able to locate 2 of these tires in less than 2 hours. Not only did she get the tires, she also gave us a great price on them. Came here to get an oil change, thinking it was still express tire. figured I'd check them out. Price for the oil change was a little higher, but I was still fine with it. Problem is, I went out of my way to shuttle my wife back-and-forth, was told two hours, came back well over three hours later and the car was still sitting there. It's hard for us to find time to get things like this done. I told him I needed to cancel the service because I didn't have time to come back, and they didn't really seem to care. Just gave me the keys back and sent me on my way. Maybe I'll try them again since they are so close to my house, but for now this is my experience, and can't give more than one star. read more

I purchased the there so.cal yearly Alignment plan . Every time I went to align my truck they came up with a excuse that I had to replace something or purchased something . This was all 4 times I took it . Then I took some new wheels to get swapped out that didn't happen because there equipment would scratch the wheel .. they charge so much and don't have proper equipment for the job. This was my first experience taking my Work Truck to Firestone Complete Auto Care at 44092 Margarita Road. I showed up for a regular oil change not realizing that Express Tire was no longer at this location. at first I didn't know what to expect but Eric the service advisor here completly changed my perception of what I had gotten used to over the years at Express Tire. Required vehicle maintenance done by the typical shady high pressure service advisor who treats their customers like crap if they only need an oil change or tire rotation. I went to the local gas station to put air in my tire. As soon as I begin putting in the air it starts to leak out. I went to Firestone on margarita in Temecula. I pulled in to get air and Mater was a true blessing. He helped me out by putting air in all my tires and gave me 4 caps for all my tires. I thought Firestone had a "Triple Promise" to its customers? "Fixed Right. Priced Right. Right on time." I guess that's just to look good for the commercials and to generate new unsuspecting customers??? I took my vehicle to a shop in Temecula Ca. on May 5th to check a noise coming from the engine. I paid for a vehicle inspection as well. They told me a new water pump, radiator cap and serpentine belt was all that was needed and the car was in good working order. Paid for those 3 services and left the shop. On May 8th driving on the freeway the engine started smoking heavily and the car over heated and broke down completely. I had the vehicle towed to the nearest Firestone (Norco Ca.) and their mechanics stated right away from a visual inspection that the car needed a need radiator and new hoses and that's the reason it over heated, you don't just replace a water pump on a cooling system that needs new parts as well! The techs told us that this was negligent and the original shop should have easily seen that and the fact they didn't recommend it or notate that on any inspection paper work (we never got an inspection sheet) that Firestone would take care of us and they were sorry and embarrassed. I opened a claim with Firestone on May 10th and just got a letter today saying their "3rd party inspector" came to the conclusion that they are NOT accepting any liability for the blown head gasket and that all services were done "correctly" --- and basically YOUR company doesn't care that one of your shops SCREWED UP!!! Yet I've been without a vehicle since May 8th and your NORCO CA shop has repeatedly told us "not to worry" that Firestone is a great name and company that will make it right for us.... FALSE! Now it's time to seek LEGAL avenues.... Beware --- DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!!!! read more

My truck went in today for a vehicle inspection and for to check brakes because my car was grinding but it was still driveable. (Less than a mile there and back) I took it in and got a quote for roughly $1000, all brakes rotors etc. talked my husband into thinking my truck was a pos. I go to pick it up, they charged me $9.99 for a vehicle but the website stated free vehicle inspection. Whatever. It's $10 bucks I paid for it. I was able to drive it there I should be able to drive home. Well I leave the parking lot and felt this shrug I put in it reverse and it did thr same. I freaked out because I had my kids in car with me. How did my car come in drivable and now you can't? I called them and they said it wasn't there fault. They just did a visual. Well I got my car towed and as the tow truck driver underneath, the BRAKE PAD fell out. He stated that they most likely touched it because there's really no way a brake pad can fall out. Then my mechanic came and said the SAME exactly thing. It just doesn't fall out. I called to request the security camera of them inspecting and they said we have 4 employees here. I don't care how many employees are there, I want to see. My husband then went to go because he was so angry, took off part of his day To deal with this. Instead of righting their wrong, they called the cops on him! They obviously do not care about their customers and I will make sure everyone will know! read more

I needed my window repaired as it was stuck open. I'm from out of town and just left the casino so I waited in the waiting area. The service advisor said it was just the regulator. I asked about the plastic clips because those are the most common cause of failure for my vehicle make/model and he said it was just the cables that were broken in the regulator. Three hours later he comes back and says the clips did actually have to be replaced as well since they were broken and he showed me the broken clips but not the "broken" regulator. So it was another three hours because they had to order and wait for more parts. I don't know if the regulator really needed to be replaced or whether they broke the clips when replacing the regulator. I figured they might as well replace everything now and hopefully I won't have to deal with it again any time soon. Also they damaged my tint and all they said was that I had to get it replaced. Fully acknowledged that it was scratched up during the repair but not even an apology. I just wanted to get out of there because I had a long road trip ahead so I didn't push the issue. If you damage something shouldn't you pay for it?? At least everyone was courteous. Trustworthiness and skill are other issues. read more

I own a fleet vehicle and dropped it off for a typical service. I specifically requested that if there was any work outside of the regular service to notify me. Needless to say... I was never notified and they ended up replacing a motor mount on a Ford after only 45K miles. As this could be legitimate... seems funny to me. I have no idea how much this cost. Normally, I might be grateful for this catch... but I was still not notified as specifically requested. It took 3 days for the service. In addition, Most importantly I had some change in my cars cup holder with mostly quarters (for meters) in it. Not 1 or 2 of them were gone but ALL of them were gone when I picked up the vehicle. I know this because I test them to see if I can trust them. Like idiots... they fell for it. Theft should be taken seriously (even though it was only about $1.50). When I mentioned it to the management team...they just looked at me and had no reaction or anything to say. I just left. Talk about customer service! Needless to say... I notified my fleet company to report this and am now writing this post to save anybody else the trouble of going through the same bad experience as me. Unbelievable!! read more
