A couple days before Memorial Day weekend, I brought my 2015 Infiniti Q50 to Firestone at Scott Air Force Base needing to track down a coolant leak. I wasn't sure if it was the radiator, water pump, hose, or something else. They performed a full inspection and quickly diagnosed a fractured/cracked radiator. They replaced the radiator and completed a coolant flush, and the car has been running like new ever since! The real test came right after. I drove 700 miles from Scott AFB all the way to Houston, Texas without a single issue. That kind of peace of mind is priceless. My customer service advisor, Blake, was absolutely awesome. He was professional, knowledgeable, and kept everything straightforward. Best of all, the final price matched the estimate I was quoted with no surprises and no hidden fees. Scheduled an appt to have some tires put on, rotated and balanced. Was greeted courteously, we talked thru what I wanted done, he repeated it back to me to ensure he got it right. I just moved here and needed some new tires and an oil change. I was recommended this place as the best place to go but I was very misinformed. The lady who is always there was very rude to me over the phone when I was asking questions as if I were a chore to deal with. Then, once I set an appointment and had dropped my car off, she called to tell me I needed air filters; I refused them as I did not feel I needed them (she was saying it would be close to $250 for both air filters), she then got very snippy towards me about it saying "Well, they're the worst filters we've seen. You need them!". I then told her no again and she dropped trying to get me to buy the new air filters. While on the phone still, I asked to pick up my old tires. She HUFFED very loudly then asked whoever the mechanic was to save the tires and said "I know it's difficult, but she wants them saved for some reason." It was extremely unprofessional and demeaning. I just wanted to keep them for some projects at home since they are my tires. When I came to pick up my car she was still very rude despite being very nice to the guy in front of me. I don't know if she just doesn't like other women or if she just had an issue with me but I definitely did not appreciate being treated so poorly. After I got home and was looking over my receipt I had noticed that she still charged me a disposal fee for my tires even though I had kept them! It was frustrating to pay for a service that was not used needless to say for that. I decided to give them another chance and I came in to ask if they offered transmission fluid changes. She looks at me and says "Look at the board. We covered it up." with a better-than-you look. Wow! I was dumbfounded at the absolute disrespect that was shown for asking a simple question that I didn't know the answer to. I just told her never mind at that point. My business is obviously not appreciated or wanted so no need to come back and give them more money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The prices are some of the highest prices around and the customer service is just horrible. read more

I've used this place in the past for tire issues. I recently picked up a car for my daughter, noticed it had a slight vibration at high speeds, so decided to have the tires checked for balance and then rotated here due to the convenience to work. They talked me into an oil change, sure since I don't know for sure how and I can trust this location and have a road trip coming up. They called me back later to let me know the wheels need alignment, after not letting them sign me up to a package deal I was told to pick up my car in half an hour. I went to pick up my car, to discover they were charging me $263 for the oil change, rotation and alignment. And they wanted to charge me some $100 to change cabin engine air filters ($38 for both at autozone). This was ridiculous. I've never paid this much for any such service. The report I got indicated one wheel was slightly out of line. I then left, drove the car up to speed and engine heat, smelling burning oil. I stopped at a light with smoke rolling from the engine compartment. Someone else telling me my car is on fire. I stopped and opened the engine compartment to see oil all over the filter and front of the engine. I returned after a 14 mile round trip intending to wash it off myself, but took it back for them to clean it. I will never return to this Firestone, and likely no other Firestones. read more

I made my appointment several days in advance. When I arrived, they got my car in right away. Gave me updates during the time my car was back in the shop. Told me about other offers that were available to me. I chose some, I rejected others. My point is that they provided all the information I needed to make my own decisions. No high-pressure sales gimmicks. I will certainly go back there again. read more

Worse service I have ever had at any auto shop. I called and made an appointment to have an oil change and 'Tire Rotation' for 11AM the next day. I arrived at 10:50 and told them I had an appointment for 11AM for an oil change and 'Tire Rotation'. They filled out the paper work and took the keys. After she took the work order back, I reminded her that when they did the 'Tire Rotation' to make sure they adjust the tire pressures to 60 PSI in the front and 80 PSI in the rear. They didn't get my truck on the rack until after 12 noon (my appointment was at 11AM). at 12:45 they tell me my car is done. I paid the bill and went out to get the car. I looked at the tires and they hadn't done the 'Tire Rotation' I went back inside and told them the tires hadn't been rotated. She looked at the paper work and said I didn't tell them to do that. I reminded her I mentioned tire rotation 3 times in our conversations. So she said she would check to see if they could do it. I told her to for get it. If it takes them 1 hour and 45 minutes to do an oil change I wondered how long it would be for a tire rotation. Earlier this year I was on crutches and replaced the breaks and packed my wheel bearings on 4 tires in less time than it took them to do an oil change. I guess I will have to do my own maintenance or take it to a place like jiffy lube. read more
