Foster's confirmed that my brakes were actually fine and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I did have a check engine light on, and they accurately diagnosed it as a bad O2 sensor and handled my 60k service as well. The customer service was excellent, the prices were fair, and everything was explained clearly. It's refreshing to find a shop that's honest and straightforward. I'll definitely be going back and would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

I went in because there was concern that my transmission was not working because the "check engine" light appeared on my dash. While they were definitely busy, the team was very kind and they were able to get my car checked on the same day. They gave me an honest assessment and, rather than try to "nickle and dime" me or make me buy parts that were unneeded, they said my vehicle would hold up okay as it was. They easily could have taken advantage of me as someone who knows next to nothing about cars, but they were straightforward and honest with me throughout the process. If you ever have any concerns about your vehicle (transmission or something else), please give them a visit because they will give you the best support possible.

I asked if he'd replace it, if I bought the OEM parts myself and was still told they won't touch it, because it's a Nissan. I found Crosnos Transmission on yelp and they had good reviews. When I called they were upfront that it would take two weeks to even get started on it because of their current work load. After I told them what was happening with it, they quoted me a ballpark price that was about $1600 less than my other quotes and was exactly what they ended up charging me after I took it to them. They had my Suburban for about 3 weeks. They warranty their rebuilds which is nice so as long as you live within or breakdown within driving distance. However, if it goes down while on a road trip you are going to have to ship it back before they can fix it. I only made it four stars based on two things. The man who runs the shop is grumpy, and 3 weeks is a long time to go without a car. I have had my vehicle back for over a month and am about to take a trip in it, so I will update the review if anything happens significantly during the trip.

They replaced the muffler and "fixed" the check engine light. About 2 months later the check engine light came back on. She took it back and they said something just needed to be tightened, charging a nominal fee. a month after that, the car wouldn't start, the check engine light was back on, and the vehicle needed a new battery, alternator and serpentine belt. You have to schedule 1 or 2 weeks in advance just to get in because they are understaffed and overworked. Clearly this has negatively affected the quality of their work. Avoid like the plague!!!!!!

He is the only one in this "business" and runs it out of his home not a shop. Asked me how much money I had to see if he was "waisting his time".He offered to help fix my breaks when originally he said he was just going to come over to check out my situation. Apparently I needed a new water pump. Keep in mind my car has been sitting for a year and not many people have been able to get it up and running for me. Me and my girlfriend are broke college students, so getting money to repair a car isn't easy. Gave this guy $435 for parts and additionally my battery that he was supposed to change out for me because it was draining and come back the following day with it. Never happened. Called multiple times and texted multiple times. "Lost his phone" for almost 24 hours before responding. Told me to be patient after taking my money. Was nothing but nice and still was treated like shit. He has a "discount" from autozone and Orileys but will tell you the employee at an establishment ordered the wrong parts or for the wrong car. Don't test your luck because you will be screwed. He attempted to get even more money out of us and we have filed a police report due to this so called business man. Receipts and everything were kept. He may be able to do simple things , but he is by no means a man nor a real mechanic. A con artist that uses people's life situations, and makes them even worse. Me and my girlfriend are out so much money. We even had an agreement and he didn't follow through. A pussy ass thing to do. Don't do business with this guy as a whole bc it is not a real business. He is a bitch if you will. Neglects everything you ask and tries to steal everything you have. We are out a car with no battery and $435 worth of parts. Don't be stupid or naive and use the benefit of doubt no matter the stories. Don't take the risk no matter how desperate. Save and do it properly. This was not an experience, this is a nightmare. This is my 8th repost because he deletes like a little bitch Everyone needs to know what you did and will do to others. Two can play at this bud.
