Have had service done there for several years. A year ago, they sold me on signing up for a Firestone credit card. HUGE mistake. First they actually charge you for paper statements! I have multiple credit cards and NOBODY charges me for paper statements. Never knew it was an option until I looked at the card statement closely. Missed a payment because I was traveling overseas. Called in on 3/10/25, spoke to a rep who said I could pay my bill off. Wrote a check and mailed it in that day . Next thing you know, new statement, new paper charge and interest. Despite paying it the day I was given the pay off. Now they refuse to end the statements and interest. Avoid this scam. read more

This is my go to place for inspection, I live close by so it's easy for me to get to. Why go here for inspection? Price is reasonable and you can do it on Saturday or Sunday with little notice. It's hard to find an auto place that try not to rip you off for something you don't need, they will tell me what is recommended it but I don't feel pushy about it, I rather them tell me what's going on than not telling me. Also the life time alignment is a must for your car, two alignment already the price of life time alignment, if you live in PA you know how bad the roads are and you need at least 1 alignment a year to keep your wheel in shape. I recommend this Firestone, I haven't done other service other than inspection and alignment, so I can't give you a review on those service, but I am happy with my experience for my service read more

The staff was so polite and patient with attempting to handle my claim with Assurant(see my 1star review). So I currently live in Pittsburgh, but my family is from the area. I drive a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the tires were a MESS, (two leaks, no tread on one, all the lug nuts were stuck on real bad and no one back home wanted to even try to get them off for me..) While I was in town for the weekend, I decided to drop it off at Firestone and see if they could help me, and inspect the car since it was due next month. Third car in for an oil change in 6 weeks, third car with too much oil in the crankcase. Request a tire rotation, not done, left rear is still the one that leaks. Check your oil before you leave, over full on oil damages engine bearings. Is that why they do it? Mavis and Tires Plus are worse though, I have horror stories about them. read more

I recently had the catalytic converters stolen off my car I live on the east end of Pottstown so I took it to the nearest place that could help me and that was Firestone they took a full day to look at it that's when I was informed that the catalytic converter was cut out and stolen they gave me an estimate of us $1,700 to fix it they also added on replacing my battery and belts for a total of $2,300 I immediately called my mechanic which is Bobs Auto in Stowe PA I had the car towed there and he replaced my catalytic converter for $600 Anyone getting a price for work done to their vehicle by Firestone I strongly suggest you get a second opinion read more

Guess I'll be "sticking" around ;) haha. I really regret getting the lifetime alignment deal... I brought my car in for the alignment and they did it in 30 mins which is great. But when I drove it it still pulled to the right so i had to bring it back in which they didn't have a problem with. They said they made a few adjustments but that the alignment was fine... Ok? Can you tell me what's wrong then? Did you check the tire pressures for me? Suggest a rotation? Check for bends in rods? Can you give me some more information... I mean I'm giving you my business. Maybe my standards are just too high but I'd choose another place to get your car maintenance or repairs. read more

I've taken my car here for both oil changes and inspections: they are awesome! If there is an issue with my car, even if it is out of their wheelhouse, they will explain it to me and tell me where to go to fix it. There are ALWAYS coupons available online. They do take longer than they should to complete the work, but given their quality of work and their prices, it is worth the extra wait time. I recommend dropping your car off earlier in the day and picking it up around dinnertime. read more

The service itself leaves a lot to be desired...but whats even worse is that they allow a company they contract with to tow, to charge me $75 to tow me POINT SEVEN MILES! When i asked why, the guy at the counter told me that it's just $50 to get the tow truck on the road. SAY WHAT?!?! I will never ever use this place again. I have been doing business with the Firestone in Pottstown for close to 20 years. They have always been curtiuos and very accomidating. I have to tell this story because it shows their level of customer service. I brought my 2014 Chrysler 300 in because I was having a muffler issue. They took me in right away and evaluated the situation. They told me that the system is one piece and if replaced would cost between 2500-3000 in repair costs! He also said that before they did the work I should take it to a muffler specialist where they have specialized equipment that they just did not have and it may be fixed for much less. He even gave me a recommendation for a local place 3 miles from my house. I brought my car over and they were able to cut the pipe and weld a new piece in while I waited. Total cost of repair $85! I'm not a mechanic and they could have very easily charged me 2500-3000 to fix my problem, but they didn't! That level of integrity is hard to find in today's business world. Absolutely horrible. I've never had such a issue with having my car looked at. I go for a simple issue such as an oil change and I leave with 5 different things that magically popped up. I went to get an inspection and their estimation was around almost 5 grand. I went to a different place and they said none of the things they listed were wrong. I've never wrote a review but you have to be careful if you don't know about cars.. they will 100 % take advantage of you. It's frustrating and honestly sad that they do this to people. Tire patch went okay, but when they went to go change my blown out bulb with a new bulb it didn't work. They claimed it was an electrical issue. Took it to the Hyundai dealer and the technician there said that whoever touched this bulb bent the prongs! They have screwed up installation of/service with TIRES, of all things, TWICE now. The latest mistake was just discovered today by my Subaru dealership. My daughter had been driving on improperly seated tires for weeks after we went to Firestone for two new tires plus a rotation & alignment. It scares me to know that she was on the road this long with a hazard like that! Prior to this, after I got four new tires on this same car at Firestone, one tire was losing pressure & needed filling every few days. I took the car back to Firestone THREE times to get it fixed, but no luck. My dealership fixed it in 10 minutes. There was dirt in the tire rim. How ridiculous is it that a service center SPECIALIZING in tires makes these kinds of mistakes!? Moral of the story: Piazza Subaru Limerick is the only place I'll go now (they fixed Firestone's mistakes free of charge both times) & Firestone is NOT the reliable service center it used to be. Sad and unethical. I went in on 6/12/2018 for a PA inspection. I was told my car would not pass inspection due to a tire that was on "secondary rubber" due to a "faulty rear shock" that needed replaced. They told me the car was "leaning in the rear". I had had my car serviced at Piazza Honda on 5/23/2018 for an oil change and they told me my tires were at 5/32nds of tread, so I was pretty shocked. They quoted me approx $1100 worth of work needed. I asked to see the tire and they told me it was "against shop policy". Desperate to pass inspection, I agreed to get a new tire, which I was told had a 50K warranty and road hazard protection. Less than a week later, I brought my car with the "faulty shock" to Piazza to have it replaced under warranty. The service manager was stunned and took me personally under my car to show me that the shock was fine. He even asked if I had seen the "bad tire" that Firestone replaced. A week later, I happened to get a nail in my newly replaced Firestone tire. We brought it to Firestone to have it fixed under road hazard protection. After waiting almost 4 hours, we were told that the tire wasn't covered under road hazard protection. When we mentioned that the tire didn't need replaced to begin with and showed them their paperwork AND Piazza's, they simply said "We didn't fail the car because of the shock, so it doesn't matter. We can't plug the [less than 3 week old] tire because it's not safe, pay us $100 for a new tire" We left, took the car to Pep Boys the next day and they plugged it no problem. Firestone falsely stated my rear shock was damaged, they sold me a tire I didn't need, they said I had road hazard protection when I didn't, and would not even plug the new tire when asked. AVOID! Not only did they have friendly and professional service, but I was extremely surprised when I got a call just 20 minutes later telling me that my tire was ready to be picked up again. Long story short my car wouldn't start this morning called to get it looked at spoke to Matt who was very helpful and pleasant over the phone. Tow truck came to haul it off and the driver was able to get my car started and confirmed it was my fuel pump that needed replacing. He informed me he can still tow the car to Firestone as requested to have it worked on. I called back to speak to Matt to let give him an update on the car and let him know it was on the way- I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes! I hung up and called back and spoke to Chris who was very short with me when I told him what he problem was and tried to get an estimated of pricing and to know if my car would be worked on today- he insisted they needed to do testing and couldn't trust the word of a tow truck driver. I did not anticipate such a hassle when I called back to get more information. My car was dropped off hours ago and I still have not received any communication confirming they've even looked at it. Now I'm left waiting by the phone for any information as to when or if I will even have my car today. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! They are really shady and don't tell you what they're doing until after they've already done it! My car battery died today and the towing company had to take me here because it was close........ First off I sat and waited for FIVE hours. Second, they tried to do other repairs without asking or discussing with me first. It went from a dead battery to engine diagnostics to checking the fuel injection system because they claimed my car wouldn't start even with the new battery. However, in the 4th hour of my wait time, I was fed up so I called my normal mechanic at Pepboys for a second opinion (in their waiting room area where I was sure they could hear my phone call). He told me that what they were saying was possible but very unlikely as he had just looked at my car in December. He advised me to ask for a print out of all the diagnostic testing they were doing. When I asked them for this, they said the mechanic would be out in 5 min to talk with me. Wouldn't you know that somehow within that time my car miraculously started working fine?! And they had no explanation as to what was supposedly wrong. Don't trust them. That's some shady sh*t. read more

I requested to speak with someone from their corporate office in regards towards this matter and it has been over a week since leaving a voicemail. I still have not received a call back. You take your vehicle there and place it in their mechanics hands, well any damages that occur to your vehicle while at their shop, is at your expense.
