Was passing through the area and my heat shield lost a bolt. By the time I got to Firestone, the whole front of it was hanging down like a scoop. I couldn't drive an hour anf a half home like this. They did not have time to fix it as it was late in the day on a Saturday, but they got me in, removed the piece, and put it into the back of my SUV so I could repair it later. Don't come here. They claim they did a "complete vehicle inspection" but I had absolutely no coolant in my reserve. They also had the audacity to charge my $1500 for brake pads and an actuator, when I was able to do the same changes for less than $500. Got a flat near Orlando International Airport and checked nearby tire stores on my phone. Firestone was the nearest one and against my better judgement, decided to go there. A couple of years ago was in the same situation and went to anther Firestone and it was a HORRIBLE experience. They kept my vehicle overnight because they "couldn't get to it then" and didn't get it back until the following afternoon. I foolishly decided to try them again and waited for an hour before they told me that the tire couldn't be repaired and they didn't have a replacement tire in store and would have to order it. Told them to put the flat tire back in the trunk and went to Tire Kingdom another 2 miles up the road. The tech took one look at the flat tire and said it would be no problem to repair. An hour later I was back on the road and headed home. The next morning Firestone sent me an "invoice" for $727.38!!! At first I freaked as I thought that they were trying to bill me for that amount. It was an invoice for recommended repairs and maintenance. As if I would give them my business after my two experiences. Stay away from all Firestone stores. They are a rip off! read more

Came here because I had a broken tire lug nut and needed it removed and replaced. The staff was helpful and entertaining as you hear them singing in the work bays lol. The pricing is exactly what you think aka overpriced. They wanted $135 for the lug nut removal. I called other places and they range from $40-100 but I in my endless wisdom only called after I was already at Firestone. Well after 2.5 hours I was told they tried to take it off but it was stuck and they just tore the rest of the lug nut off but now it was all the way down and needed heat by a blowtorch to get it off which they can't do. All I can think of was, Awesome. The good news is they didn't charge me. Gave it four stars due to the pricing and time but would give them a shot at other stuff and when I do I'll make sure to let y'all know. read more

My back left tire had a slow leak from a nail or some kind of sharp object, and completely went flat. I was able to drive it up the block to Firestone and immediately, a nice gentleman was able to check it out. He assured me that it was able to be patched up which gave me a great relief because I was prepared to get a brand new tire. I handed over my keys and I was in and out by the next hour and it only cost $30 for the repair!! Excellent service and great customer service, thank you!! read more

Brought my car here because I had a nail in my tire! Steven is soooo kind, he checked out my tires complementary and he also made sure to fill all tires to correct psi (since it's been warmer in Florida and colder AMs) the tire pressure was a bit wonky. They did a great job and they have a nice waiting room where you can sit while they work on the car. Based on the great customer service I would come back. Make sure that you have time on your schedule though to stay for a while, I think they take their time here, but that sometimes means that it's a quality job too. read more

I've been to this location twice so this could change but for now I'm pretty impressed as far as Firestone goes. The first trip was for an oil change and there was nothing out of the ordinary. They also didn't upsell me and verified that both of my belts were still in good working order. They saved me today though. One of my tires shredded on the road and they were able to get me a tire from the warehouse (another location once got the wrong tire size from the warehouse and then was not able to get the correct size for a week) same day (in late afternoon!). They ordered the tire from the warehouse before I got there with the car because I called ahead. The tire was just over 18 months old, and they honored the roadside hazard plan because I have two much newer tires with it & they could see I usually buy their tires (the plan is usually for a year). They got the job done really quickly as well. I'm truly impressed and will return here! read more

I had a wheel lock on my wheel and was informed about that, and they also charged me 50 for the removal of it while claiming they told me about the additional fee... they did not. Overall impression: I trust these guys. Have had two experiences here and both have been completely honest and awesome. 1st one-accidentally called the wrong firestone (this one instead of another one) about fixing my splash guard after an oil change that was a little off (done at another firestone). They offered ME to bring it in and fix it even though it was another firestone that had caused the issue (which wasn't a big issue really). And they did it quickly and totally for free. 2nd-came in for a tire rotation (they were only going to charge $10). They looked at it, then let me know that they could rotate it but it would be more dangerous for me to do so (I had very low tire tread in the front). They said they could sell me some tires if I wanted or get them elsewhere. I said it's okay, I'll just pay for the rotation since they went through the trouble of looking at it and pointing it out. They told me they wouldn't charge for it. The whole customer service experience was excellent. And their facilities are nice too. I highly recommend this place. It's hard to find a car service center where you feel like you can trust what they're telling you. I've been burned in the past and it leaves you with a little distrust moving forward. I am really glad that I found this place because we just moved back to the area and our mechanics are much too far away. I dropped my wife's Infiniti off for an oil change and was waiting for them to call and tell me about all the $40 items they needed to switch out (filters, wipers, etc). Everything was fresh in the car so I knew they would be full of it if they said anything, so I guess I was kind of testing them to see how they did business. I'm really glad to say that I got a call much sooner than anticipated and they didn't try to sell me a thing. The young lady I spoke to actually mentioned that the car was in such great shape for being a 2010 and we didn't need anything other than the oil change and it was ready to be picked up. Best part.....pick it up and it was $23. My father in law moved into Lee Vista about 6 years ago and always uses this Firestone. I'll def go back for oil changes and any other work needed. Extremely disappointed with this location. My car was sent here after my compressor broke and caused my serpentine belt to break as I was going down 417. Since I could only be towed 5 miles this was where they could take it. They decided to replace the compressor as well as the entire A/C system because their was a leak. It was a good chunk of work and in the end it was about $2000. I had to apply for their credit card because I wasn't able to pay for that on my own... and the manager tried to offer me a discount and brought it down to $1800. However, a few days later and the whole system completely failed. When I took it to another Firestone shop they said that this store "had no idea what they were doing..." Great. read more

I had a good experience here. My car was acting funny on the way to work, and this was the only place open before 8. I dropped my car off and, long story short, everything was fixed in about 3 hours. I spoke to a lady named Vincella, and she was friendly and answered all of my questions. She gave me a breakdown of all the parts and labor. Well long story short these are some good guys/gals and we will be back. At first we had some phone issues and staff seemed a little rushed and rude, but after we got there and the car was evaluated we had a totally different experience. My car was evaluated promptly and the final cost of the repair was fair. The technicians are knowledgeable and the turnaround time was good. They did not give me any problems working on my wheelchair accessible van, and followed up promptly knowing it was my only means of transport. Had my passenger side caliper sieze. Limped it to this store. They tell me I need new everything. I call bs. Then they tell me calipers, rotors, pads, and lines on the front. I tell them I just want the caliper they told me siezed replaced. They tell me that is against their policy to not do both sides. It's their POLICY TO SELL CUSTOMERS PARTS THEY DO NOT NEED OR WANT! So I play along, asking the damage. These jackals tried to charge $1,011 for pads, rotors, and calipers on the front. I laughed and said, but no really, how much is it ask if they price match, they said yes. Called Pep Boys, $800 for the same job. Called Midas, $650 for the EXACT same job. Call Firestone back. They tell me they need to see that quote. So I call Midas back and ask them to fax the quote. They do and Firestone says they never got it. So Firestone calls Midas. Not sure what happened on that call, but Rick from Midas calls me back so angry, he asks what he can do to steal my business from Firestone. After this whole deal going on for 5 hrs I demand Firestone get me a rental car to get home since their policy is either charge me double for labor and parts I don't need OR send me back on the road with an unsafe vehicle. The next day, I get the quote to Firestone and his price is still over $1000, so they just simply DO NOT PRICE MATCH. I return the rental car, drive my vehicle 18 miles to Ken Falco at Midas who gladly fit me in before they closed, told me Firestone lied to me about everything they assesed. My back brakes were totally fine, as well as my pads, and rotors on the front. I only needed to replace the caliper. I ask what he would charge for the calipers, rotors, and pads that Firestone wanted $1011 for. Midas did the job, with higher quality parts that have lifetime warranties, for $635!!! Shame on Firestone. Who knows how many people they have lied to and up charged who didn't know any better. If you have money to burn or love being taken advantage of and lied to, check a Firestone near you. I called this place to find out a time frame for a oil change on my truck. A guy told me between 1 hour to a hour and a half. Got there with my truck and the place was empty, only one vehicle being serviced, I was the only one on the waiting room. After 2 hours and 15 minutes waiting, my car was there outside and no one had touched. They serviced people that get there way after me and they didn't had appointment because I heard they're saying no appointment. I spoke with a lady and a man about my concerns and even after I said, they had my car waiting for another 30 minutes. Insane a d terrible service. I left and got my car back without having the oil change. Not recommend this place to any one, they don't have respect for people. read more

Arrived at my scheduled appointment and stood at the counter for 15 minutes while the employee punched away at the computer. I will never return to these CROOKS ever again! I made my appointment online and it was for tire rotation and oil change. Once I dropped my truck off and marked the tires to assure that the tires would be rotated. Upon arrival I noticed that the tires had not been rotated, I had addressed the issue with the personal and they assured me it was done. Once I walked out there and showed them the proof it wasn't rotated, the manager (who refused to address the matter) said it was done without even leaving his desk!. Not to mention they had billed me for the rotation too. Never the less make sure you check your tires prior to dropping off your vehicle because the manager will not care about anything but his cell phone. read more

Firestone like many tire stores offers to check your tire pressure for free. My wife's car had one tire that was consistently losing air, and so I went to have it checked. I told the associate that we had put air in it a couple of times, but it seem to have a slow leak. I asked if he could check it out. In 3 minutes he was done. I asked him if he actually looked to make sure there was not a nail or something. He assured me everything was fine. I pulled out and got gas not feeling confident that he had actually checked. Sure enough I immediately saw a bolt protruding from the tire. Now maybe the tire wasn't rotated correctly for him to see this. My frustration is that he did not even try. He simply slapped some air in it and told me to be on my way. I went to another tire store and had the tire repaired. Simply put I would not trust this store with my car. read more

This is my first review because I never do this but I feel the service my wife and I received merits a response. I used to go to the dealer but after dealing with Angelo I don't think I ever will again. I made a appointment after work online after seeing the maintenance light on in my wife's car. Angelo called me within 15 min of making my appointment to tell me that they already had some people at the time I requested, and I could have the time but it may be longer than expected wait time. He informed me of other open times where I could be seen faster and for me this was beyond fantastic customer service especially since I cant have a lot of down time due to my work. I arrived and the store was clean and the staff was professional. Angelo was easy to find and helped me with all my needs. He assured me my appointment put me at the front of the line and I'm glad I made the appointment because this place is busy. most shops I've been to are sleepy and slow but the service explains why the parking lot was full. It took about a hour for the oil change and tire rotation which I said I wanted halfway through the oil change but, Angelo explained that they aren't a quick lube and it would be about that long including the free inspection before he even got started. Angelo walked me to my car and showed me some "edge wear" I had on my tires and explained that tire rotations alone aren't enough to take care of tires and that a free alignment check would let me know if I needed one. Normally I would say no but because I saw it with my own eyes it was hard to decline or deny which normally I would have. Long story short. This location went above and beyond what I expected both in customer service and set a new benchmark for what I expect. If you plan on using this location they are very busy. Make an appointment if you want it to be fast. I heard a few people get frustrated about the wait time for a oil change but they didn't seem to have a appointment or even look around to notice every seat provided by the store had a customer in it. This location used to be awesome. For basic items like oil changes, tire rotations, install new tires and wind shield wiper replacement they are good. For more advanced stuff, unless you're screwed or stranded with no other options, go else where. They make appointments, and I leave the car for the day, as work within walking distance, so drop it off before work and walk back after work. They are awful about keeping time promises. I told them, I am here 4 days a week, but I needed new brakes. I told them I needed car at 4pm, (it was 8:30, with a 9am appointment) I told them I need it at 4pm, have to go to my second job. I'd rather come back tomorrow to finish if necessary but 4pm is a hard stop deadline. I was assured no problem. At 3pm, I called to see how to car was going. I was told, need about 15 minutes but they are on track for a 4pm pickup. At 4pm, I walked towards to shop and saw my car still on the lift with no tires. I went inside I asked why was it still on the lift and how much longer would it be? They told me they just started and it would be 2 hours and I could have a seat in the waiting area. I called my friend who came and picked me up so I could go to my second job. Thankfully a co-worker picked me up the following day at home, but not a happy camper. When I finally got in the car, the parking brake didn't work. I went to another mechanic and they told me they disconnected the parking brake cable and they reattached for it me for a small fee. read more

I had one of the best experiences when I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I didn't make an appointment which pushed my wait time to 1.5 hour. Understanding of the wait time, I took a seat and continued reading my kindle and watching the news. Throughout my wait I overheard Angelo, a representative, be very helpful to other customers. He took the time to explain the importance of various vehicle maintenances to one costumer, gave unbiased advice, and was respectful of everyone's time. My wait exceeded the 1.5 hours and Angelo apologized and made sure I was taken care of. I've never had anyone at an auto shop be so considerate of my time. I highly recommend Firestone! Called up the store and spoke to George about a weird noise my car was making and to see if they'd have time to check it out before I drove to St. Pete the next day. I was told it would be about 2 hours if I waited. When I came in George remembered me and took the keys. Within 20 minutes a tech came out to drive the car with me so I could show him what the noise was. Took a quick drive and within 5 min the tech knew what the issue probably was (he fortunately had a lot of experience with Hondas). Since it was late in the day they didn't have time to fix the car since they had to order the part but reassured me the car was safe to drive and I wouldn't do further damage by driving a bit more. I made an appt for a couple days later, they offered a discount and my car sounds great again. Great customer service and the tech was very honest and knowledgeable (thanks Tony). The one thing they should change is that the inspection fee be reimbursed if you bring your car back to be repaired by them. Other than that, i highly recommend them. read more
