One of the most important things when choosing a mechanic is being able to trust that they have your best interest at heart when dealing with your car!. Don't bring your car there unless you want to have more issues than the ones you already had!!! For example : I had my wheel bearing and axle replaced on 05/10/2025 and when I went in for a noise complaint they initially told me that it was the wheel bearing. I guess they didn't realize I had that fixed already, so Eric Sharpe made light of it by saying, "it's just a small noise, but most of it is coming from the other axle". How convenient?! Don't try to have a civil conversation with this manager to resolve an issue because you're just wasting your time. It's not in his nature. read more

The staff at this location go above and beyond for their customer Marcus checked me in and was very attentive and Reggie was amazing doing the impossible since I came in for a tire replacement for all four tires my lug nuts gave him problems and it took 3 guys to take them off. read more

The people at this location give you a bad attitude and are genuinely just trying to find the most expensive thing they can make you pay for even if it's not the problem. I wish I could give 0 stars. Came here originally for new break pads and a new battery. The salesman was nice enough when I was spending money. But then my battery goes bad, I go to a mechanic friend who tests everything (alternator, starter, etc) and he tells me it's definitely a bad battery, take advantage of your warranty and go get it replaced. I go back to firestone, same salesman, who now is clearly annoyed with me and tries to sell me all this extra stuff/tell me it's the alternator. He keeps calling me "young lady" and is very condescending. Finally I get him to just replace the battery and two hours later I'm outta there, paying $17 for the privilege.-this was in January 2019 6 months later, I have a slow start issue, I take it to my mechanic friend, he tests everything again, he says it's definitely the battery again. Tells me that it could be the 100 degree heat we've been getting, plus a light that's apparently been stuck on. I check my warranty, I'm still within the 24 months of the original purchase date and under the warranty they will replace the battery twice. I take it back to the firestone. The same salesmen is there. "You should've called ahead young lady, I'm booked up today young lady" "I'm going to have to charge you $24.99 just to diagnose the problem young lady" (I am almost 30 years old, I have changed a battery before, and I know my way around a car) And when I told him I just wanted him to replace the battery per the warranty and that I've already gotten it tested, he just got more condescending and insisted they would need to diagnose the issue, and on and on with what really was more like a snake oil sales pitched, I took my keys and walked out. I'm now having my car towed and the issue handled directly with interstate batteries. Horrible!!!!! Took my car in running for 489 worth of work, they did 2595 worth of work w no authorization from me and now my car does NOT RUN!!!! Called corporate in Nashville TN 13 times, NO RESPONSE. Just spoke to Michelle. Told me I have to pay $4,000-$5,000 to fix my car. Which is no problem just needed to ask the mechanic one question and apparently she can't pull them from their work to answer any questions. I would not spend a dollar with that kind of customer service. read more

Dishonest people. Brought my car in because my brakes were making a very loud squealing noise, they tried to tell me that my rotors and brake pads were both bad as they were installed incorrectly. They quoted me over $400 to redo my front brakes. This seemed off to me as my rotors had literally been replaced several months ago. The salesperson proceeded to call other stores to find the rotors, however I told him that I didn't want the service done and I was going to do it myself to save money. He then he tried to convince me that I would need a special tool and I said okay. Took the car home and just switched out my brake pads (no rotors), everything was fine, no noise, no special tool. These guys tried to take me for a ride out of my hard earned $400. read more

I've been coming here since 1986. I came in for my free tire rotation and balance. I've always been suspicious of the mechanics here and I expressed these thoughts to the store manager. He was very nice and sang a sweet song. He even included a $50 discount. I received a call stating that the wheel bearings was the issue and I decided to let them do the work. When I picked my car up the steering was very bad. They found that my power steering pump was bad. This was not discussed when I received the call informing me of any issues. My radiator began leaking right near the Firestone on West Colonial. I had to leave my truck with them as they couldn't work on it that day. They called the next day and said it would be about $800 to replace. A radiator for my truck is about $100, with labor it should have come to about $500. Since I was pretty much stuck there, I had them do the work. After the work was done the cashier said they noticed since they had it that it was having SOME transmission issues. I began driving the truck home and it began having SEVERE transmission issues. I made it to my mechanic and he found that the transmission fluid was 4 qts low. My mechanic said that Firestone should have checked that before I left their shop, seeing that Firestone was working on the radiator and the hoses connecting it, and that some transmission fluid may have been lost during their work. As a result, there may be some transmission damage due to their negligence. Never go there again! Too expensive and not thorough! read more

I've long been a fan of Firestone for a while. Their lifetime alignment service is a GREAT value if you can get it when it's on sale (about $150). Their other services aren't too bad either if you can get coupons for them to save some dough. However, money isn't everything. The guys at this particular shop / location are GREAT! It's not often that you get treated with respect when going into an auto repair shop. These guys are top notch! The same cannot be said for a few other Firestone locations in Orlando (Winter Park comes to mind). If you are near here, this is a great place to get your car serviced. read more

Customer service was fine. I was told I need a new battery but fortunately I had a warranty with Auto Zone. When I brought it to Auto Zone, I showed the battery check on the receipt. The Auto Zone employee pointed out that they didn't have the correct metrics when testing (Rated at 800 CCA instead of what the battery actually is 640 CCA). He said that is a tactic used to get customers to purchase a new battery when it's really not necessary. Also, I paid for an oil change and requested to make sure my washer fluid was filled - another mishap. When I asked the Firestone employee about the battery, he says that it automatically defaults to that number. I'm disappointed with the experience and will not be returning. read more

Don't bother making an appointment because it's a waste of time. I had one for 11am on a Sunday to balance my tires. I sat in the lobby until 12 and my truck never moved. Asked for me keys and left. Note sure what has happened to this store as it's gone down hill. read more

We set an appointment for an oil change, general check, and for a coolant flush a few days in advance. However, we still had to wait An incredibly long amount of time. The lobby is huge but there's only two small benches. There is open Wi-Fi though. When we finally heard back from the "customer service representative" we had a laundry list of repairs/maintenance tasks we supposedly needed totaling over $800 before tax. After some more hours passed I came to my senses that I wasn't going to pay for all that. However, the rep then tried to avoid me to the point I actually had to walk in the garage to tell the mechanic not to work on the car. The rep rushed in the garage and told me that the parts were already ordered, to which I replied, "can't you just put them back in your warehouse," literally right behind him, connected to the garage. He then proceeded, once again, to twist my arm into getting a Firestone credit card, even as I'm telling him that I don't want the service. Terrible experience, traumatizing almost, sleazy service that just wants your money. Do not recommend. read more

The manager Rami and his employee Phyllip were exceptionally helpful and understanding. Phyllip knew what he was talking about pertaining to the repairs that were needed for my car.
