HUGE FAN of this SHOP!!!! I have never written an online comment for a business before but wanted to make sure I shared the experience my daughter and I had with Bill and the Team at the 535 Auto Care Center. READ THIS IF YOU EVER NEED AUTO REPAIRS! Our daughter lives in the area and we live in Dallas, TX. The place she normally gets her car serviced at (and trusted) said she needed a brake job. The other shop put her car on the lift while getting her oil changed and gave her a written quote for brakes. They determined she needed new front calipers and rotors, brake pads, brake lines, rear drums and rear pads. The quote was for $1,100 on a 2008 Honda Civic. I heard about the quote and even spoke to the service manager about it and decided to hold off until we came into town to see what our options were. I was skeptical when I saw the quote included new brake lines - I have never seen a brake job requiring new brake lines in my life. We came into town for the holidays and I came across 535 Auto Care Center online. All of their reviews spoke highly of the team there, so I called and spoke to Bill and set up a brake inspection. When we arrived for our appointment, Bill asked one of his guys to pull my daughter's car into the shop and check her brakes. When the mechanic approached the vehicle, he immediately looked down at the rear driver side tire and went into the shop to grab an air hose. He and another mechanic quickly looked at the tire and saw it had only 4 pounds of air in it. They jacked the car up, pumped up the tire and saw there was a nail in the tire. This was a tire that my daughter noticed had been low on before the other shop had it on their lift to "inspect" it for brakes while doing an oil change days before and didn't even notice the issue. Bill had them check her brakes and explained they would start with the front pads and work their way to the back. He said they would inspect, clean and adjust them to confirm whatever needed to be done and they would let us know in case more work or parts were needed. They fixed the hole in the tire and we set up a brake job for the next day. We dropped the car off for the brake job and about an hour later Bill called and said everything went well and the car was ready. The whole thing cost $235. I wish I had this shop in Texas but am so THANKFUL we found a place we can trust and have full confidence in for my daughter's future vehicle needs. As soon as the Team at 535 Auto noticed her flat tire, I knew their eye for detail was worth taking note about. We could not be happier with the quality of the work at 535. If you are looking for a quality, trustworthy auto repair shop - go to 535 Auto Care and let Bill and his team take care of you. We almost made a $1,000 mistake by not checking them out. I found a place for my daughter to get an oil change and they ended up telling her she needed hundreds of dollars of work done. I called and they were rude to me and when I asked what had to be done now and what could be done later the guy said "obviously it all needs to be done now unless you want her to breakdown on the road!". I went back and read some bad reviews on the place and felt they were clearly trying to take advantage of her so I searched again for more car shops and found wonderful reviews for Bill and the team at 535 Auto Care! I called and spoke to Bill who was extremely nice and helpful and we made an appointment for my daughter to bring her car in to get checked for all the problems the other place said needed to be fixed. Bill told her they checked the car for everything and it was fine! He said if she heard any noises like she thought she'd heard, to bring it back in and they would check it again. If you want an honest place that clearly seems to value customers, then take your car here!!!! We are from out of state. We also were three hours from where we started our drive and 9 hours till our destination for the 1st stop. A few of our dash lights came on and the book said get it to a service station. We called Florida's Road Rangers and they came out and told us right away that they were unable to help us, but said 8 miles away was a service station. (Thank you to Road Rangers, they are also wonderful!! They had helped us on our way down.) We crossed our fingers and the car got there. Bill, the owner was wonderful to us and told us we would probably be 1 to 1 1/2 hours to figure out what was going on. They actually found the trouble right away, thank you Damien, which was a hose that some type of rodent enjoyed immensely!! They had it back on the road within the time period and asked us to drive it around a little bit. We did and not only were they perfect at their jobs and wonderful, they didn't charge us an arm and leg because we were from out-of-town. I'm just sorry they are not closer to where we live. While vacationing in Orlando Florida on 05/28/18 I noticed that my 2003 Chevy Tahoe was making a funny noise and since it was a holiday i couldn't get it checked out. I Googled repair shops and 535 Auto Repair Center had great reviews so I gave Bill the owner a call the first thing Tuesday morning and he told me to come by. When I got there he had someone to check it out ASAP and they informed me that my compressor was going bad. Bill checked on getting the parts and gave me a price and he told me that I didn't have to tie up my day that day and that I could drop it off the next morning so I did. It was ready for pickup in about 4 hours. Since I'm a retired firefighter he gave me a 10% discount and I couldn't have been any happier with the service and treatment that I was shown by Bill and his entire staff. If you're in the Orlando area please look them up if you need repairs or service. It's always great to know that there are still some awesome human beings are still around. Can't say enough great things about 535 Auto Care. Bill is a stand-up guy who takes the time to help you understand what's wrong with the vehicle and explains exactly what he's doing. When my AC broke last year, I took it to another local repair shop and they quoted me way outside my budget with not a lot of explanation of what was wrong. On a recommendation from a friend, I called 535 to for a second opinion. He took the time to understand and explain what was going on and ended up completing the repair for nearly half the other quote, with a warranty on the repair as well. When the dealership quotes thousands of dollars in "needed" repairs, I trust Bill to take a look at the line items and confirm what does or doesn't need done. Especially in an area that's a lot of travelers & transient residents (many of whom can't afford the ticket-price estimates of most repair shops), Bill does right by customers and garners loyalty & recommendations from the folks who stick around. read more

535 auto repair is outstanding! We were in Orlando visiting Disney for Christmas. We drove from Texas and while there our car started making a noise that sounded like a pulley or water pump going out. We were leaving the day after Christmas and was nervous about driving 1000 miles and risking breaking down. Looked up a repair shop to take it to and chose 535 because of the reviews. I got there just before they opened and they told me they could look at it but had a couple scheduled repairs to complete first. I only waited a couple hours and after diagnosing the problem told me it was the steering pump that was going out but was safe to drive home. They didn't even charge me and wouldn't take any money! We drove home with no problems and got the repair done here at home. Extremely honest guys who could have easily made money off of us but told us the truth and what was best for us. Would absolutely recommend them if you find yourself needing an honest mechanic!! read more

my family of 6 and i drove from CT. to orlando in our family vehicle. Reliable family vehicle. We planned a series of activities during our 21 day vacation,, our timing belt and drivebelt tensioner breaking wasnt one of them. I felt as though we were trapped once my vehicle started losing power. i was going to need a mechanic in another state. hmm,,,They,re definitely gonna take advantage of my situation, 1200 miles from home and need to return. Started thinking of stories to say to mechanics that would convince them im not desperate even though we were. That thought was definitely wrong. my wife researched a 5 mile radius and read reviews on garages. we chose Auto Care Center. On the way from Connecticut to Lake Buena Vista Florida for the annual family vacation, my 2005 Ford Taurus starting making a very disturbing noise at my first fuel stop in NJ. I continued on but in NC the A/C stopped blowing cold air. Upon reaching Lake Buena Vista the Friday before Memorial Day I inquired the staff at the resort where we were staying about car repair in the area. They recommended 535 Auto Care right next to the resort. Brought the car to Bill Nelson on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. He called me that afternoon with the diagnosis (A/C compressor replacement). Promised car the following afternoon. As promised car was ready next afternoon and the charges were very reasonable. Bill could have run up the charges because I was a tourist, but did not. Customer since 2015. It can be really frustrating to have your car not work. It's even MORE frustrating to not understand why, let alone how to fix it. Bill and his crew at 535 have been taking care of my cars since I drove cross country from California, and they've taken great care of my vehicles, as well as those of my roommate and girlfriend. They explain exactly what needs to get done and why, and will be honest about what repairs are necessary and which ones can wait. My girlfriend appreciates that they have experience with rust damage (she's from the Midwest), and that they don't talk down to her because she's a woman. My roommate knows cars and trusts any work he can't do himself to this great team. Most importantly, if something does go wrong, they'll do what they can to make it right for you. Out of towner with ac not working. Took my vehicle to Goodyear and after four hours they diagnosed the problem as needing a new compressor which would cost approximately $1000. That said, we took our vehicle the next day to 535 Auto Care Center and they found a faulty relay. While rediagnoising the issue, they noted the previous shop depleted all the freon out of the system, didn't replace it, and found the compressor was disconnected. 535 could have followed the other shop, but did the right thing and were completely honest and up front with us. Not only did they just charge us for the diagnosis, they noted the discrepancies and even replaced our freon free of charge. 535 Auto Care... I've said it before (3 years ago) and I'll say it again... if you need anything done with your car, this is the place to go. Bill is one of the most fair and trusted men I have dealt with at car places. This time (there have been a few) my Daughter was having trouble starting her car last week and when it would start, was sputtering like it was going to just stop. In fear, she took it across the street from where she lives to Pep Boys in Celebration. The next day they smugly called her and said it was sensors, and it would cost over $1300. Crying, she called me, and I called Bill at 535 right away. Long story short, we just picked up her car from 535, it's all fixed, and less than half the price. He is trustworthy, more than fair and gives discounts to Disney employees. Yay Bill!! read more

We were visiting my sister-in-law in Kissimmee. My Chrysler Aspen with 250,000 miles began overheating in traffic. I took it to 535 Auto Care - they found the faulty water pump, and repaired the vehicle the next day. Very professional and excellent service. The following week, the Aspen wouldn't start for a completely separate issue, so i had it towed to 535. They diagnosed the problem, replaced the fuel pump, and checked the vehicle over to make sure we wouldn't have any problems driving 1500 miles back to Texas. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to explain the problem and showed me the defective parts that were removed. It is a small shop, and there are a lot of cars out front, but they did the work in the time that they promised. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about 535 Auto Care! My daughter is currently in Florida ---1200 miles away from us-- and had car trouble. One place she went left her in tears and telling her much more was wrong with her car than there was. My husband spoke with Bill who had her drop the car off the next morning-- treated her like he had known her forever-- and had it ready for her in less than two days. Only fixing what REALLY needed fixed and costing her 1/3 of what the other place was telling her she needed to come up with. My daughter joined the WDW organization after graduating from college May 2013. A number of firsts, first job, first apartment, 1000 miles from home,and her first car accident. On her way home from work someone ran a red light and pushed sheet metal into the engine compartment where it shedded the serpentine belt and moved the power steering component. We turned to YELP for help in locating an auto repair shop who would not take advantage of the situation. We called and explained the situation to Justin. He repaired the car in one day and my daughter was back on the road. They charged a fair amount and now 535 Auto Care Center is her first choice for all her auto repair needs. I cannot begin to describe how overall pleasant and professional my experience with 535 was, but I'm gonna try. I brought my explorer in yesterday because it was extremely low on oil pressure. Justin was so friendly and personable, and gave me an accurate time estimate on how what the problem was and how long it would take to fix it. Unfortunately, I had to go to work before it was finished but the shop was sooooo understanding. I went and picked it up this morning, and Bill let me know the warning signs of what to look for and how to be more cautious with my car, which I was so grateful for. I've been meaning to write this review FOREVER. In May 2017 my brother and I were about to leave Disney property when my car started shuddering and the check engine light started blinking (oh yay!). My bro had lived in Orlando for several years, and he'd used 535 Auto before, so he suggested we try to make it there. When we arrived, the man who helped us (I'm guessing it was Bill) was so helpful and reassuring. His team diagnosed the problem (ignition coil), fixed us up and got us back on the road in a matter of a few hours, all at an extremely reasonable cost. I'm in the Orlando/Disney area several times a year, and if I ever have car trouble again, I know exactly where I'm going. read more
