I had already told him to go ahead with the major repair but he was honest and called me to let me know it wound up not being as bad which was a huge blessing as my mom is on a fixed income. I completely loved the work dynamics betweent the employees. It is DEFINITELY true with the saying, "a good business is when the employees are happy", and that is what this place is about. I got nothing but excellent service from Chris, the lady behind the counter (I forgot her name :'D), the mechanic that worked on my car, and spotlight on Joe! Joe, overall, was my main point of contact and truly helped me out making my decisions in what to do with my car and helped me financially wise as well. Joe, you're a great guy! Service - I really want nothing but OEM parts for my car as it is my fault driver, and Joe was up front that they didn't have my OEM parts and I was appreciative about that. He assured me the parts, at least for what my car was needed, was up to par. Price and service is within the industry par, so they weren't trying to rob me or anything. I really enjoyed and felt calm and trusted in their work. I plan on coming here from now on. They let me inspect my car as I somewhat know what I'm looking for. I just got amazing service here!

Clermont Ford Fixed What Mercedes Couldn't on My $200K Van…read more I never thought I'd be writing this. I own a 2025 Winnebago Revel camper van built on a 2023 Mercedes-Benz chassis -- a vehicle close to $200,000. Like most people, I assumed Mercedes was the only place to trust with something this expensive. Highly trained mechanics, luxury-level service... right? Wrong. The Problem (Specific Details & Contrast) After installing new front-end coilover struts with reservoirs, I brought my van to Mercedes for an alignment and to stop rubbing on the driver's side. I left with the same problem still there and a bill that was nearly double what Ford later charged me. Imagine paying more and driving away with the problem still unsolved. I was stressed, frustrated, and honestly considering ripping out my brand-new suspension. The Turning Point (Emotion & Honesty) Out of options, I decided to try Clermont Ford. I hadn't been there in years, but I figured, why not? To my surprise, they said "Absolutely, bring it in," without hesitation. They treated my high-end Mercedes-based Revel like it was no different from anything else they work on. That's when everything changed. The Service (Human Connection & Skill) It turned into a two-day job, but the updates were constant, the communication was clear, and the work? Flawless. A special shoutout to Troy, the lead technician. If "professional" had a level above it, that's him. He's not just skilled -- he's patient, polite, and genuinely cares. He explained everything, made sure I understood, and treated my van like it was his own. The rest of the staff matched that same level of courtesy, integrity, and pride in their work. The Result (Transformation) When I left Ford, the rubbing issue was gone, the alignment was perfect, and I felt something I hadn't at Mercedes: confidence. For half the price, they did twice the job. My Takeaway (Recommendation & Call to Action) I walked into Mercedes feeling defeated. I left Ford feeling relieved, humbled, and grateful. This experience taught me something important: true quality isn't about the badge on the building, it's about the people inside it. If a dealership is not willing or able to work with certain types of vehicles, that should be communicated upfront--especially after extended back-and-forth communication. The process ultimately felt like a waste of time and lacked basic flexibility and problem-solving that customers expect when making a serious purchase. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I expected clearer communication and a more accommodating approach. I would recommend improvements in transparency and customer service to avoid similar situations in the future.
