Trying to help future customers make an informed decision on where not to go when something is wrong with their car. This is based on my experience bringing my car in due to it shaking while driving. After a conversation with the service advisor who recommended new tires, I trusted the issue would be resolved. But after $800 worth of tires, one tow back to this place, and no help from Justin (the manager), I now have new tires I can't safely drive on due to the car still shaking. If this is your only option, like it was for me on a Sunday when I originally came in, I would document the conversation to protect yourself against their practices. Good luck! read more

These people are rude , unprofessional, they lack knowledge and experience and take no responsibility for things they do wrong . A Ripoff. This is why people don't trust mechanics. I had a leak from under the front of my truck. I took it in to see what it was and what could be done about it. I paid for the diagnostic. They tell me it's the radiator leaking coolant and it would cost $800. Hard to afford it, but I scraped up the money. Picked up the truck came home and still having a leak. I wait a few days thinking it's residual something or other but no, the leak is the same as before. I take it back in, tell them the leak isn't fixed, I leave it overnight. Next day I get a call asking me about the leak! I don't know, you did the diagnostic and told me it was the radiator and charged me $800. They say "Oh what you're leaking is engine oil, and it looks like that's been going on for a while." Wait a minute, if it's been going on for a while, you must've seen it when you checked for the leak, why wasn't this mentioned at the time? Oh, cause they must've thought the radiator was more important to get fixed. Nowhere on the paperwork is there mention of any other leak. And thy guy who did the diagnostic and work is on vacation... Had I known there was an oil leak and a radiator leak I would've opted to fix the oil leak, I wasn't having any overheating issues. I drive that vehicle under 20 miles a day. But I had no option. So, it might cost $800 to fix the oil leak...not gonna happen. Were they incompetent in diagnosing the issue, or did they purposely omit a leak that "looks like it's been there a while," so they could continue to get paid. The giveaway was that it "looked like it's been there a while." Well then, you saw it when ythe otherou were diagnosing the issue, and you saw the radiator too, but gave me only half the story so I'd still have an issue and get me twice. That's lying by omission and ... a ripoff. They make no effort to make it right other than charging me more for the oil leak. That's the work side of it. Attitude; when I first walked in one guy is on the phone, the other guy just looks at me. I smile, but just get a blank what do you want stare back, no words, no greeting, no "how can I help you," nothing. I approach and tell that I have a leak. Honestly, this place needs a lot of work, especially with upper management. I brought my vehicle in for just a basic look around. Make sure that everything's going good which is $10 to have them do a complete check. I knew a couple things that were wrong with it when I received that check, they said that those were completely OK And I said no they are definitely not. I knew my brakes needed to be changed like they were almost a bear metal. I had just purchased this vehicle and noticed that myself and they told me it still had 100% life so technicians are cutting corners with just saying what they believe people wanna hear not only that I had a couple of cooling things replaced and noticed that a couple of the items looked to be used that they had put on cannot confirm that but still shocking but I can confirm is while putting my vehicle on a lift. They ended up breaking one of my lower control arms could not tell you how they managed to do that, but I do know that it was in perfectly good shape when it went in there because that was one of the things that I looked at when purchasing the vehicle and when I brought this to their attention, I was told that that didn't happen in year and there was nothing they can do for me and I said well I have the pictures of when I bought it. I took pictures of it and then just a couple days later I had dropped it off maybe two days after purchasing it for them to work on it and found that it was broken. I got it back. We still told her there was nothing they could do. I tried to reach out to corporate got no response whatsoever towards the matter and furthermore decided that I will no longer be using this current Firestone. I've had a Firestone credit card with this company for about five years now I normally allow them to do my lifetime alignment of the vehicles, oil changes, etc. because I get rewards with the credit card, but after this experience with them and their upper management, the way that I was belittled and talk to, I might start looking somewhere else read more

I took my ford f 250 truck here for my air conditioner to be totally repaired on 2/18/25 i was told it was a leak they fixed it had to refill the freon cost me $657.51 within a month my air conditioner was not working again I went back on 3/18/25 they said it was another leak I paid $457.51...now 3/30/25 the air conditioner is not working i called them basically i was told it was going to have to pay again if they find another leak....this is not right I'm already $1,115.02 in the holev i feel like I'm being taken advantage of i thought being a well known name for 125 years means they back their name by totally fixing a problem one amount and that's it instead they have you come in and come in paying more and more i am not a millionaire I'm a senior who had to put this on credit card....don't go here unless you like giving money away. read more

BIG RAVE! I had a day off work, and I filled the day with appointments. That was THE PLAN...until the air started escaping rapidly from one tire when enroute to an appointment. There is something terrifying about watching the Psi level drop on the dashboard display. The culprit? A nasty screw. Fortunately, after AAA got my donut on the car, I took it to my Firestone Complete Auto Care. Jose registered me quickly and Leo did the work within 20 minutes. I could not be more grateful!!! I came in on a Thursday after making an appointment online. I came in a few minutes before my scheduled appointment for my oil change. I arrived and explained that I was there for my oil change appointment. I never had the chance to offer my name or the make and model of my car. The gentleman quickly looked at the computer and said he didn't have an appointment scheduled for an oil change. I told him that I had made the appointment via their online scheduler, and he stated that the systems don't communicate and advised that I should call for the appointment next time as he advises everyone. I have never been to firestone before, but if you're able to schedule online, I would assume that is sufficient. Am I wrong? He said he would need to reschedule me, and although he said he didn't "see" an appointment in the system, suddenly, he saw it and was able to reschedule me nearly a week later than when I needed it. I never gave him my name or vehicle information. I asked him if he needed any of my info, and he said no and verbally verified my vehicle info, so now I'm positive he "saw" the appointment. Fast forward to the day of my rescheduled appointment. I showed up, and another female customer was waiting in the lobby. All the bays except for 1 was full. I checked in with the same gentleman from the week before. He asked if I wanted full synthetic or blend. I asked what the difference in price was. He stated the blend was nearly $80 and the full was $110 or so but explained that the full would allow for a more spaced apart need for service with 10,000 miles. I responded, "In this heat?!" He told me it didn't matter anymore because of how they are now making the oil. I went with the full synthetic option since it would be more cost-effective in the long run. I admit I don't know much about oil changes except when it's time to change it, and I knew mine was well overdue. It has been nearly impossible to get into any shop lately, so I felt like I had no other choice but to do it now and allow me time to have a better option for shops next time. I was not offered any options for dropping off and returning later, nor was I given an approximate time frame. This is where the waiting began. I saw the tech immediately pull my vehicle into the bay, "yay!" They put my vehicle's hood up immediately, and I rested in one of the chairs, assured that I would be out of there in no time. There were plenty of mechanics, supervisors, and general employees, so it wasn't from a lack of staffing. A few employees were standing around eating their Icey Pops (the 6th orange one, according to the gentleman at the counter). About 1.5 hours into waiting, they finally announced to the other lady waiting that she would need a tire changed. She was just as annoyed as I was waiting so long for an oil change, so she refused the tire change. After the employee left, she said, "so I can stay another hour?" I chuckled because I was in total agreeance. I witnessed numerous male customers walk in, pay, and leave throughout this process. I'm aware they probably dropped off their vehicles and returned for pick up. No one offered an update to either one of us while we waited. Just before the 2-hour mark, the other customer was called to check out, and I was called about 10 minutes later (almost 6 pm). I don't intend on returning because this seems too much. Two trips + 2 Hour wait + $102 (after the great coupon the gentleman offered me before my long wait) = This does not add up. read more

I brought my car into the shop without an appointment on Saturday morning because it was blowing hot air and leaking fluid. The manager Dee was able to have my vehicle checked and repaired the same day. The staff was amazing and extremely professional with handling my repair issues. I had a flat, and went in to get it repaired, it was around 2:30 . The guy said it will be sometime before we close, I said what does that mean , he said several hours. I've been around this type of business for years I know what he meant was we don't want to mess with a flat repair!, so I went around the corner to Mavis Tire, they got me right in And fixed my tire I'm 20 minutes. I have been a Firestone client since 1991. This Firestone is in my top two service centers I have ever been to based on: trustworthiness, service commitment to excellence, customer service and friendliness. Have been going to this Firestone since late 2015 as well as recommended this location to my friends who agree with my assessment of this location. For some reason never got around posting a review, so here it goes: Service Managers: Always friendly, very helpful and all round great service. They spend the time with you explaining concerns and repairs/service and getting Technicians when needed to show you or explain the situation. Sasha has been my go to man for 90% plus visits and keeps me abreast of what's going on. Also he knows my dog (Amos) by name and my dog loves him (see photo of my dog waiting for "his" car to be completed). Even Sasha says my dogs name (not mine) when vehicle is complete because he knows Amos loves this old car. Now if I can just get Amos to pay for service!!! This last trip though Chris took care of me and had great service with him too. For example, last week after describing my vehicle issues, Chris got Ron (technician) to listen to my concerns and Ron gave me a rundown of what he suspects is the problems and what it entails to fix. This allowed Chris to accurately estimate the repair costs. Technicians: Several technicians have worked on my car and have fixed issues with little or no problems. They have even given me a run down or even showed me the concerns so I would have complete understanding of what they see. They spend the time to make sure I understand and have all my questions answered. Location: Great location away from the traffic of Orlando. I drive from Winter Garden which is nice and relaxing country roads. The parking lot has plenty of parking for u and the cars waiting for service. I needed to bring in a tire for replacement. It was late in the day and it seemed like the store was busy. As a consumer and in need to get my car back on the road, I only encouraged how great it would be to get my tire back same day. It was roughly 5:30p and the store closed a 7. I expressed this and the gentlemen named Daniel felt the need to berate me in front of my father in law and another customer in the lobby. When Daniel took my phone number down, he then asked "It came off of what?". I'll be honest, just like Daniel, it was a long day for me too. I asked for clarity nicely, because I didn't understand the question. With no kindness, he yelled at me, "what car did it come off of", "Ohh" I said. "You mean my make and model, sorry." I was kind and felt like I was being submissive due to the great aggression Daniel seemed to have at me. I was incredibly discouraged as I spoke with a gentlemen named Justin earlier in the day. No guarantees were made and I understand, but he was INCREDIBLY kind, unlike Daniel. Respect and kindness goes such a long way. Again, I had a long day too, in Healthcare, was up since 4am. Long day... That shouldn't be anyones excuse to be short, belittling, condescending and just frankly vocally aggressive. Maybe Daniel could take some soft-core customer service classes or communications class. Not sure. Frankly, I am not sure I'd do any business with Firestone/Clermont nor would recommend this location to anyone based on the experience--quite embarrassing. read more

I was in need of a tire change due to a leak. When all was said and done I drove 30 miles back home. Only to realize the tire that had a leak, was taken off the back of my truck and placed on the front. Not only did I spend $308 on two new tires, my safety was jeopardized due to the lack of knowledge, preparation, and competence of the staff. When my fiance and I brought our truck back, that very night, to be fixed, there was no immediate apology. Come today, two days later, still no apology for deeming a tire, with a hole in it, safe to drive. I'm really disappointed because Firestone has always been my go to auto shop and I would trek all the way to Clermont specifically for this location because of the previous good reviews...I'm starting to see consistency with recent reviews that things have changed and I have encountered similar experiences myself. I usually call ahead and schedule an appointment because it gets busy, and to avoid having to deal with the lack of customer service skills Bc I already know they exist here, and to alleviate the process of my car being serviced so I can spend as little time as possible dealing with the folks upfront. This instance I called in early one morning and was told there was no wait time and that I could bring my vehicle in. Soon enough, brought my vehicle over and said I needed to drop it off for an oil change and was told it wouldn't be worked on today because they were working on today's work and tomorrow's...usually they tell me I can drop it off and they'll fit it in or have it ready by the end of the day. The guy up front says coldly, "you can leave it here but it's not going to be ready today". I get you're busy but the fact that I called in ahead of time to make sure then I get there and am turned away. The customer service skills are on a decline at this location. I wouldn't waste my time going here again. Devils advocate, maybe the employee had a bad day or was flustered but with the attitude I don't even trust the people here to work on my vehicle going forward, it's not worth it. read more

Service here was great. I got 4 brand new tires at a great price. Place was super clean and work was done pretty quickly. Most of my experiences in auto garages are pretty bad so this was a nice change. I will definitely be back to get my car serviced here. I want it known that his location for Firestone is worth going out of your way to get to if you need any work done to your vehicle. After a few bad experience at our local Firestone and a downright awful and unacceptable experience today, we went to this location, and they were kind, understanding, and fixed the issue perfectly. The other Firestone location (which I posted a review about for that location), broke the coolant line in the car while replacing the battery. There is literally no way this was not noticed, but the car was overheating, and we were advised to go to this location. Repairing the coolant line was quick and free, and we WILL be going to this location for all future needs. I cannot encourage everyone reading this enough. So 3 weeks ago I take my truck to Firestone in clermont to get new tires put on and one of their lifetime alignments. I After piss poor customer service and a complete lack of communication from Simon up there I finally get my truck back at like 9pm. I look over the truck and they have managed to significantly damage all 4 of my rims. Now I'm really pissed so I leave my truck their over night and go back the next morning to speak to Justin the GM. He was very curtious and immediately accepted blame for the damage and said they would have the rims fixed. Fast forward to Wednesday, I drop the truck off at firestone to get the rims fixed. I'm told it would take like 2 days. I was never offered a rental or anything for my inconvience. Thursday afternoon I receive a call from the GM stating that the work was going to take a little longer than expected but they would have my car back to me late Friday afternoon. Friday at 6pm I call firestone knowing they close at 7 asking about my truck. I speak to Chris who says "oh yea they called me like an hour and a half ago and said the rims are done, I'll pick them up in the morning and get them out on. So now I'm going on 4 days without my vehicle after being told 2. They didn't even have the curtious to call Friday afternoon, I had to reach out them. Finally today around 3 they call and say the truck is ready. I knew I wouldn't be back in town before they closed so I told them I would pick it up Sunday morning. I decided to stop up at firestone even though they were closed just to take a look at how the wheels turned out... I shut you know it looks like they sanded the just the damaged areas and then tried to spray pain over just the damage. My rims are matte black but still have a little sheen to them. It looks like they used flat black spray paint on the rims so you can see every area sprayed. They clearly didn't tape anything off because there is over spray all over the place, didn't even attempt to wet sand the areas they painted and just left it rough. Then the icing on the cake... some how there is new damage to the rims that wasn't there the when I dropped it off Wednesday. So now tomorrow I will be going up there to argue with them about buying new rims because clearly they are incapable of having them repaired correctly. I would caution anyone against using the clermont firestone for any type of work. The GM is great but the workers have a piss poor attitude along with being unskilled. If they do damage your vehicle they won't even put a half ass effort towards correcting the problem. I swear they dropped the rims off to billy bob who used whatever rattle can paint he had laying around his shed to paint them in his front yard. I would caution anyone against using the clermont firestone for any type of work. The GM is great but the workers have a piss poor attitude along with being unskilled. If they do damage your vehicle they won't even put a half ass effort towards correcting the problem. I tried to like this place but after 3 attempts with the same result I just can't do business with them any further. The entire staff could use a customer service, hospitality of simple etiquette training. You could be the only customer in line and 3 staff members there and no one will greet you. The alignments drift after a few drives and the oil changes they don't even reset the clean oil changed gauge. They act like they could care less if a customer does business with them, let alone repeat business. In the middle of a pandemic and volatile economic climate, it's a dangerous game they're playing. I first went in because my air conditioner would shut off for no reason. I dropped the car off in the morning and called later in the afternoon. They said it was working and didn't shut off. They did tell me that my alternator died and would need to be replaced. After fixing that they said the battery was bad and I needed a new one. This day cost me $600+. 3 days later the air went out again. This time they "fixed" it and the total was $900. 2 weeks later the air was not blowing cold air. The defrost worked and the heater worked. I took it back and told them. They said the problem is completely different from the first time and not a result of the first time. They gave me a quote of $925 with of course a $100 off because of loyalty. I took my car to a mechanic in a different town and he checked it out, retested it and put Freon in it. The air works perfectly now and the total cost from him was $65. My advice is simple... Stay away from these guys. They are always looking to up-sell things and cannot fix things correctly the first time, which will cost you LOTS more later! They will also charge for things you do not need! I made an online appointment for firestone tires, I get ther a week later, they don't have the tires I requested, suggested the bridgestone at a discounted rate to match what I wanted, okay, purchased them they were quick to add lifetime alignment and hazard for the tires at a lot higher charge without even asking if I wanted those upgrades, 5K miles later, truck shakes and bounces, front tires feathered, took it in for a "policy" alingment, told me it was out, no paper work to prove any thing was done, I rotate the tires myself, truck still shakes and at 10K mile I check and the front tires are feathered again, called service manager to document my concern, told me to bring it in, did so of a Friday morning, called Sat at 4pm to check on it, was told they are working on it now, I work in the same type retail industry, I know for a fact they just went to bring it in to look at it after I called, 1 hour later I get a call stating that the front tires are cupped but meet the manufactors specs, and told me to rotate the tires every 2K miles, so i was pretty much told in a very nice manner to f off there is nothing wrong that they could help me with, truck still shakes and steering wheel has a vibration, the truck was written up for a tire balance and alignment they did nothing after holding my truck for two days, I will not go to another firestone dealer anywhere in the country, all this we make things perfect is BS and you know it read more

Since I can't find the one for the one near Cagan Crossing, I'll leave my review here. The one at Cagan is amazing. There are two amazing service representatives that work there (Jason and Heather). They go out of their way for their customers. Not only did Firestone repair my 2007 Lincon Navigator's sparkplugs and heater hoses but they also are going to be the ones to replace my front breaks, 1 rotor, and 1 caliper and when I get the money, they will replace all 4 of my tires. This company is super professional and polite. Sometimes they are a little pricey but they are worth every penny. read more

Took my car to repair a flat. Unfortunately the tire had to be replaced, but they were able to order the same one and replace it the same day. They called me to pick up the car and I was almost there when I got a call that they accidentally broke my door handle. They replaced it, but the repair took an extra couple of hours. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and they offered me a free oil change. It seemed like a fair compromise since an oil change usually runs about $35 bucks. Sasha (think that's how it was spelled) was the one who helped with the problem and seemed like a nice guy. He said they don't like to do business like that, and he wanted to make sure everything was fixed before the car left his shop. Other than that snafu, everything else went ok. I can't believe it's taken me this long to review Firestone. These guys have helped me out time and time again. I've been going for oil changes but I've upped that to new tires, batteries and general service issues. Honestly, I can't tell you enough how great and helpful the guys are over at Firestone. I was just there the other day with a battery issue. It was under warranty. I walked in and out within 20 minutes. No issues at all. They have always been fair and steered me the right way. Had new tires installed recently on wife's vehicle...the ability to look up and price tires prior to coming in is nice. Price ended up actually being lower due to an offer not included in Internet pricing (which didn't make sense). A disappointment, however, that when we picked up the vehicle the upgraded aluminum valve stem caps that I'd installed were missing, replaced with cheap plastic ones. Tech was at lunch and caps could not be found...hmmm. Then a few days later, my wife found the right front tire flat. Fortunately vehicle was at home in the garage at the time. I came in around 10:30am or so on a Saturday and was greated by a man name Saul he was funny and welcoming which I appreciate. Some places like to treat you differently just because you're a female but I've never had any issues with any Firestone locations. It's the only place I'd go. Highly recommend, services were decent I had a couple in front of me but it only took my car 20 minutes to get taken in for an oil change and windshield wipers changed. :) read more

We picked this Firestone shop mainly due to the service of Service Advisor Sasha who took the time to walk out a maneuvering plan to park the trailer for servicing in a busy, limited area not designed for trailers. I had my brakes replaced here a few months ago. At least I thought they did the job. Come to fond out from another store that the people who replaced my brakes had left parts out of the repair. I didn't know. My brakes were making constant squealing sounds. I took the car in to a new place and they informed me of these facts. We were in town for vacation when I noticed my car running a little hot. Not overheating, but hot. Firestone was the closest repair shop so I took it in first thing in the morning. The fiddled with it for an hour and then decided that I needed a brand new motor. I kid you not a new engine, around $7000 job! I had serious doubts because it isn't an old car and has been babied. I decided to take it to actual certified Toyota technicians. They looked at it for 30 minutes and diagnosed it as a faulty thermostat, $200. They about died laughing when I told them firestone wanted to replace the engine. They said my engine is perfectly fine. It boggles my mind that Firestone wouldn't even check the thermostat for an overheating problem. So again, these guys are either ignorant, incompetent, or dishonest. read more

After more than a year of thought about what happened to me at the Clermont Florida location, it might be worthwhile to write a review, especially because it could save a life. I brought my SUV in for a general inspection and tire repair. After waiting an unreasonably length of time, I decided to ask for an update on their work progress, only to find out that my vehicle had not been touched. I was in the showroom, so I already knew this anyway. I could see that a person started work on my car, it did not take long after my inquiry for them to return my vehicle to me supposedly completed. I was told that everything checked out good and a slow leak on the tire was fixed. I paid for the work, left the store and went next door to Panda Express to get something to eat. I had not been there long before my brakes went completely out on me. To make a long story short, they test drove my car and my brake line was slashed at some point. If I had driven the car away from the store and not just next door I might not be alive to tell. I was told that something must have happen after I received the car back from them, but had only driven the car next door, maybe a couple of 100 feet. I will let you figure this one out. Horrible service! Brought my car in because of an oil leak, and conveyed to the service department what pep boys indicated to me which was an oil gasket needed replacing...after paying $750.00 to have whatever issues existed in the car fixed, that was causing oil leakage. I had to bring it back in only to be told I had oil leaks that needed fixing totaling more than $1000.00. I was told a thorough inspection wasn't done on the vehicle initially because I didn't agree to pay $49.00 which was a complete and utter LIE! I never signed or verbally communicated to them not to do their job of a complete inspection of the car to find out the source of the oil leaks! Their incompetence and weak customer service is astonishing!More than that they wee rude and unethical! Terrible service and unprofessional and I caution anyone dealing with these people! DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE... Made an appointment to get my rear brake pads replaced, tires rotated, balanced, and alignment done to correct a pull to the right along with shaking in my steering wheel since i recently replaced the tires. After "service" it seems the only thing done was my brakes being replaced as the tires were not balanced (no weights), i seriously doubt they were rotated, and i dont know what happened during the alignment because the car has the same issues as before with the pull to the right and shaking in the steering when going over 50. They didnt even put air in the tires. I sent all this info to them in their emailed survey and checked the box requesting to hear back from someone. After several weeks i still have not heard anything back from these people which if anything confirms my suspicions. I am now short several hundred dollars while still having to get my car serviced. read more

I went over and asked if they could change a tire and the mechanic or so I thought told me that the tire I wanted changed was a front tire and he couldn't change it. . WTF. complete idiot. If u don't want to do your job get a different one. He obviously didn't have a clue what was going on. This is the second time I try to get something done there and no one can even come close to helping out. stay away, they don't no what there doing. read more
