I took my car here on 1/17/26 to get a hole in my tire patched. They told me they could not fix it because my tire tread was to low and told me I needed a whole new set of tires. This was not true as the hole was small and in the middle of my tire and could easily be patched. They then tried to tell me my tire rim was pinched and that I needed a new one. This was all a lie, they were just trying to get money out of me. They also told me my alignment was off. I had just gotten my car serviced less than a month ago at Mazda and everything was fine. I then took my car to Mavis Tire and they were able to patch up the hole no problem. DO NOT COME HERE. Go to Mavis Tire much better service over there and they aren't trying to steal money from you. read more

My friend and I drove over to Mobile to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, May 20th. Unfortunately my transmission died once we got to the dance club that night around 8 pm. We called a wrecker and they took it just 2 blocks away to Firestone Complete Auto Care. This was a Saturday night and we were scrambling to get a rental car to get back to MS. The gentlemen with Firestone contacted me Sunday to assure me they were going to get to the bottom of the problem. Sure enough, the transmission was totally gone! After checking options for me and presenting them, I took the option for a remanufactured one with a warranty. They ordered it and it came in withina week and a half. They kept me up to date with the status, and then contacted me to tell me that it would be ready last weekend. Mr. Aaron also told me about a discount that was offered that weekend which would help me afford to get a rental car to come back and retrieve my van. I would 100% recommend this wonderful group of gentlemen for any automotive needs, as I was desperate and they handled it very well. They test drove it several times before I made the trip back. I am so thankful that I was directed to them in desperation for help. They are very kind and very compassionate, understanding that I was in desperation for an honest and complete repair on my transmission. My boyfriend had his Escalade towed here for repair.. to make a long story short.. they came back with an estimate of $1300!! When we decided to have it towed somewhere else and came to pick it up.. they then tried to negotiate the price and finally came to a price of $739 for the exact same amount of work and parts.. why would you give such a high quote?? We took it to the Cadillac dealer and they came back with a quote of $700!! Usually the dealerships are always MUCH higher priced.. which is why we gave Firestone a chance.. NEVER AGAIN!! On Sept 21, I dropped off my excellent condition Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, always garaged,at the Firestone auto center on Schillinger Rd. here in Mobile. J didn't notice until I arrived home, that they damaged all four of my tire rims. These are expensive rims. Unfortunately, it is my word against theirs. My car tag reads Disabled Veteran, and my veterans cap was on the front seat. I'm screwed, at least I can forewarn you who might be considering taking your vehicle there. Beware. read more

Coming back from the beach, my wife and I got a nail in the sidewall of our tire. After calling 7 places, they were the only place that have the tire size and didn't have a 3 hour wait. Once we got there, they were super busy, but when we told them we were not from the area, they were able to fit us right in and back on the road in 40 minutes. read more

I went in for a scheduled 4-wheel alignment this morning. The lady was very friendly and helpful. I barely got myself settled with a cup of coffee and my laptop, the car was already done. 20 minutes tops! They also caught an indicator on my dash (which my local dealership did NOT) that a tire pressure sensor had failed. Their quote was almost half what other places quoted. I made the mistake of having tires installed at Firestone a couple of years ago and took the lifetime rotation and balance. Because I paid dearly for this I have them rotated every 5000 miles and get my oil changed while they have it on the rack. As I write this I have been waiting 1 1/2 hours (with an appointment) for what should have been a 20 minute job. If they would just do what I asked for and not waste their time trying to upsell me with things I don't need or want I could have been out of here long ago. When this set of tires is shot I will shop around for a new place to buy new tires and get my oil changed. I've got a couple in mind but Firestone is not under consideration at all. I purchased 4 brand new tires from this store a year ago. I just started having problems with a slow leak in one of them. Upon further inspection I found that the tire had been plugged (where the leak is). I am the only driver of this vehicle and I have never had one of these tires plugged before. I think it poor service, unprofessional and theft to pass off a used tire as new. If wanted used tires, I would have gone to a Used Tire Service Store. I will never purchase anything from Firestone at any location ever again. I am very upset and disappointed with this theft. I understand I can can't return it after the length of time which have passed, nor do I want to. Firestone is a joke. read more

The moron who worked on my car rotated my tire he claimed "just needed air" to a front drive tire! so next morning i woke up to a completely flat front tire at 3am! I live in an apartment and had to drive to an air compressor at a gas station a mile away. Filled tire and after work took it to #Walmart of all places. Went to get gas this afternoon and when I was leaving I had a piece of metal get stuck in my tire. I just purchased these tires a month ago from here and my tire was spewing air out so I immediately went here because I figured since I bought all 4 brand new tires here they could help me fix it. My boyfriend went in to ask if they could get a look at it and possibly patch it because we rely on this vehicle to get to and from work. We came in AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSE! The girl up front let us know she had been turning people away because the guys in the back (mechanics) said that they were too busy and she said she "couldnt make them work if they didn't want to work" she proceeded to the back to ask them and they refused. She said we could come back in the morning but my tire was losing air so fast I wouldn't have even been able to make it to work in the morning. We went down the street (mavis) and they did not hesitate to assist us and even give us a discount on repairs to the tire! We will no longer be coming here for service and do not recommend it.. $500 worth of tires and horrible customer service. read more

They are straight forward here. No pressure and seem to only sell What's needed on your vehicle. They take care of you. I would suggest making an appointment that way you have priority over people who are waiting. read more

I've taking my vehicle to them 2 times and it's still not fixed. Sigh, I have to take it the third time or switch to a different company.

I brought my car to this location for a new tire before a long drive. Within 3 miles of me leaving after giving them my money and getting the new tire, my tire pressure monitor went of in my car and the brand new tire went flat. I called them within 24 hours and they had me bring to car back to firestone, voided the tire as defective, and replaced the tire. Within a few hours of me leaving, the same thing happened. Flat tire. I had to take the car back a THIRD time and a crack that was NOT PREVIOUSLY there was found on my metal wheel. I have been JERKED around by firestone and their claims department for months. I spent money towing the car to Mercedes and the claims adjuster didn't even look at the wheel according to the service advisor. He didn't even remove the tire and wheel during the inspection. He simply denied the claim and they ran off. I NEED Firestone Bridgestone to pay for 1,000-1,500 wheel that you BROKE. I gave you my business as a good, paying customer and picked up and drove off with a vehicle that immediately And dangerously BROKE in the middle of the road within only a few miles of picking it up!!! TERRIBLE company, manager and customer service! NATHAN MINTON the manager has the nerve to tell me to just "go weld" the crack they caused! You do not weld a wheel on a Mercedes, Nathan! I will start off by saying the customer service was friendly... But that's about the only positive thing I can say about my experience. My truck broke down that morning and I had to get it towed to them. It took them six hours to do a $99 diagnosis on it, which I suspect is them plugging their diagnostic computer up to it. After that, they told me they thought it was a problem with my spark plug assembly and it would cost $560 to fix it and that it may not actually be the problem. I got a buddy to tow me out of the shop and I went to the auto parts store and changed all the components for $70 which did not fix the problem. And took it to a local car garage and they figured out it and took it to a local car garage and they figured out it what what's the problem and fixed it for $110. read more
