Had to come back for an unexpected update: Last Friday, my friend traveled in from out of state and…read morehit some kind of wooden crate en route. This caused some damage to her car. Fortunately, a kind Samaritan provided a temporary fix to get her to Mobile, at which time, we planned to visit a shop for further inspection by a professional. Naturally, she was relieved to arrive in Mobile but also worried about her ability to make the drive home and I was concerned, as well. Being that it was going to be 3-4pm before she arrived and that it was also Friday, I was concerned about being able to be seen on a whim, too. I wasn't sure who to call but recently had new tire replacement at Majestic Tire and had a pleasant experience. Thus, I figured I would start there and give them a call. I explained the situation and how my friend would be leaving Sunday evening to go home (this was simply a weekend visit) and asked if they could possibly take a look at her vehicle. Surprisingly, they told me to go ahead and come in as soon as she arrived in Mobile. I was grateful they were going to see us, especially given it was Friday and only a couple hours until close. But would you believe they stayed after about 15 minutes to finish up her car? I am sure after a hardworking and busy week, everyone was eager to go home but they cared enough about us and our situation to stay the extra 15 minutes. I need to mention as well that this wasn't some kind of money making job. What they charged us wasn't much which makes it even more impressive they still cared. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the integrity and compassion of everyone at Majestic Tire. Not only is their pricing competitive, they do quality work and everyone I have interacted with has been so nice. It is a huge relief to know I have a place I can go when inevitable car trouble strikes (or necessary maintenance). Thank you so much!

I asked the older gentleman at the desk about the honda and he adimately denys they have ever worked on this vehicle, argues with me about it. Mind you i have a stack of receits in the glove box from this place, finally he gets the vin number and then says yeah we worked on this vehicle. I was thinking great we are finally getting somewhere. So i asked to make an appointment to get the things fixed on the car and he refuses to let me make an appointment, says they dont do that there, which blew my mind. I said ok let me get an alignment while im here, he says theres not enough time left in the day. It was 2 in the afternoon and they werent busy. I said ok can i make an appointment for tomorrow or wednesday to get the alignment and he replys no we dont do that. So...... obviously they dont need business there. Heard they were a good honda shop but maybe they dont work on Hondas anymore. Not sure how they fix cars if they dont take walkins and they dont take appointments. Thanks for nothing Milton Honda!

No one called to ask if I was ok with the nearly 150% markup, but no big deal; I paid the bill. I purchased new tail lights and was told by Tina I needed to make an appointment and wait two weeks. Again, no big deal, places get busy. I dropped the car off at 7:15am and was called by Tina at 2:30pm and told, "your car is ready". When I arrived, I see my car with half old tail lights and half new tail lights that look NOTHING alike. One set is chrome and one set is regular reflective lens from the factory. PROBLEM! The car looks like a circus freak. I was told the mechanic didn't have time to finish them and I would need to come back another day when he wasn't as busy. Why didn't anyone call to ask if I was ok with only half of the work being completed before starting the job? Ok, you can at least put the car back the way it was when I dropped it off, right? WRONG! They wanted to be paid $37.25 for messing my car up and leaving it that way. BEWARE before leaving your car here!

The manager, Brad, called, explained the situation, and offered a service voucher to help make things right. He was professional and respectful on the call, and I appreciate that they addressed my concerns quickly. While the price difference wasn't completely refunded, I'm satisfied with the response and their effort to resolve the issue. Overcharged and pressured for repairs I never requested I went to Mavis Tires & Brakes in Daphne, AL for a basic tire and oil service after being quoted $321 "out the door." When I picked up my vehicle, the bill was over $100 higher than the quote. Staff blamed a "call center mistake" but refused to honor the original price. They also printed a repair estimate for nearly $5,000 worth of additional work that I never asked for, claiming someone had "verbally authorized" it -- which was completely untrue. On top of that, parts of the job were incomplete when I got the vehicle back. They didn't put spare tire back under my vehicle like I asked and no oil change sticker was applied or updated. I've contacted Mavis corporate about the overcharge and false authorization, and I've filed a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Be careful here !! You might be paying for more than you get!!!
