Invoice # 187285, Service Advisor: Brian We just left this shop after picking up our van from an oil change. Earlier, my wife received a phone call telling her that she needed new tires. She told the shop employee that he would have to discuss it with me. He then tried to sell me new tires. He said that they were down to the wear indicator. I told him that I would check the condition of the tires and purchase some when I needed to. I would shop around for the best value. He interrupted me and said, "WE HAVE TIRES HERE." Duh!!! The name Firestone Tires would have given me that clue!!) My response was "I know, but I will shop around," and I thanked him for the advice. He then said, "NEVER MIND" and hung up the phone. He must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!!!! When we picked up the car, the invoice said, "THE CUSTOMER DECLINED TO EVEN TALK ABOUT PRICING OF TIRES." That is a lie. We discussed it, and I told him that I would shop around if I needed some. I was going to give them a good rating, based on the completion of the oil change, but I downgraded it to 1 star based on the unprofessional employee behavior. Brian needs more training!!!! Absolutely the worst. Took my car there because I failed inspection. I showed them the Inspection Report and asked if they could fix the problem, they said yes. I made it clear that all I wanted fixed was the code that I failed inspection for. Two weeks later they told me that they were not able to fix the problem but had to charge me for a switch, the installation of the switch and shop supplies. They charged me $175 for a switch that I did not need, ask for or want. I emailed my complaint to Firestone Customer Service, and they sent me their standard response, saying that they know how upset I must be and that the store should contact me within 48 hours. five-days have since passed and no contact. I emailed customer service again and they just sent me that stand response again. I wish that I had read the reviews before I brought my car to these guys. I am going to file a claim with my Credit Card Company. read more

Very disappointed and frustrated with the service. I chose to get new tires here because their website showed many different tires of different price ranges in stock for my type of vehicle. After calling to ask if they could perform an alignment, I asked how much the total would be. He told me almost $700. I asked how much the tires were because on their website they had tires that were significantly less expensive. He told me that the tires were already put on, and there was nothing they could do. I am extremely annoyed that they didn't confirm the price with me before selecting tires on my behalf for my car. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I asked for an itemized breakdown and the guy at the front told me I would receive one only after signing. I won't be returning. read more

On 11/25/24 my wife went to get her own tires and sensors installed to milford de firestone.The service advisor 5 amir as on bill told my wife he could not program her sensors and you only need a gm scanner to do.Then 5 amir told my wife that when they put her sensors in they could not take them out a lie sacre tactic.So my wife paid for firestone over priced sesors that cost 319.96 .I tell your people this so you know about this place and 5 amir for all the people you rip off karma is a funny thing. read more

Went for oil change and tire repair for a nail. After I left and got home I realized the nail is still in the tire. They focus on the "recommendations" that will cost you hundreds and are typically not really needed. Focus on what the customer is asking for. read more

Bad communication, messed up appointments and rude. I have used Firestone Auto Care for years and was disappointed.

I purchased a life time front end alingment service , which I paid over $200.00. So far,each time I had brought my vehicle in to have the alignment done, Firestone Tires in Milford had said that my front right wheel has play in it , due to the tie rod. I had the tie rods relaced by Blue Springs and Walls Services. Firestone, still says that they would Not be able to perform the alignment due to 'bad tie rod on the right side". Firestone said they could replace the tie rods. Currently, I am not able to get a refund for my "Life time " alignment plan from the Milford Firestone store. read more

Took my car here to get an oil pan replaced because the threads were stripped for the drain plug and they wanted to charge me $1700 , because they couldn't get it around the exhaust and wanted to order all new pieces and break the old ones and put new ones on. When I told them no they threw the old oil pan back on without sealing it and bent the dipstick and turned it backwards. Before I noticed this I put a new self tapping plug that fit perfectly and was ready to drive until I noticed the oil light on. I stopped looked under car real well and noticed loose bolts, oil everywhere on the ground and looked under the hood and totally missed that the dipstick wasn't straight up. Now the oil light is on with the engine light and oil pressure light and the car developed a horrible knocking noise after it came back from Firestone. I took it there with a stripped pan and left with an engine light, a horrible leaking pan, and loud knocking noise in my engine. I wouldn't recommend this place. I have taken my car to this franchise for 7 years, I never had a complaint. On this one occasion they over filled my cars oil, at first they promised to resolve it, but when I brought it in they decided that I was lying and had serviced elsewhere because the sealant was blue and they only used yellow so used that as a excuse for not fixing the problem. I had no motivation to lie, I make enough money to maintain my car and being retired don't drive that much. I don't blame the person that did the work , everyone can make a mistake, but the way I was talked and their inability to reason with me. Made me angry because what they were basically saying was I was lying to them. I don't recommend you take car here they are more interested in covering there butt then listening to customers and they are dismissive if you have a problem with there work. Take your car elsewhere if you want integrity. read more
